One star because thats as low as they go. I’ve had my system for 5 years now, it worked fine for the first year and a half and then the inverter went out. After a MONTH with no solar they finally replaced it. After the replacement it generated about ½ of what it did before. I tried everything to get them to come out and look at it, but no way they told me it was work as expected and would not even come and take a look at it. The inverter broke again a year later and they replaced it again, a month after it broke and low and behold it started producing more! but still no where near what it did before. I have tried everything to get them to come out and look at it, I’ve shown them the production charts that they generate and still they tell me it’s working just fine. If you are thinking about solar DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER these jokers, they care about getting your money and thats it! After the sale your on your own! My only concession is that I have personally talked 3 of my friends out of going with this company and I truly hope this Unilocal review will get more people NOT to buy from them either.

This company has the worst customer service possible. They are lucky that once the solar is installed, it typically will just work and so they don’t interface much with the customer post install. Most people at this organization needs to obtain customer service training. Even the manager brian. He is a complete douche.
I have their system because I am stuck on a contract. If I could do it over again, I would never pick these guys. Steer far away folks. There are too many solar companies to choose from. Just because these guys are large, don’t pick them. Do your research first before you go with these guys.

A salesman from this company came to our door last week and kept pounding on our door and refused to tell my wife who he was or why he was there, he just kept asking her to open the door. She was able to see the emblem on his shirt. Do not buy from this company because they employ people who use these types of tactics. They also did not return our complaint call. Next time we’ll call Clovis PD.

I called the 1 – 877 Number on Home Depot flyer and found the representatives less than helpful. They pulled up my residence on Google earth and told me they would only help me if I was OK with the panels on the front of the house. I said I wasn’t and asked about a tilt kit on the north side and they refused to consider this. Sounded like they want the easiest way or no way. Too bad!

FIRST the local company has been great… But be careful IF you decide to go with this company. I have been a customer for almost a year now & when I received my «true up» statement from pg&e I was shocked to learn that I still owed well over $ 1000 (to pg&e)
I called their customer service & spoke with CHAD who told me they couldn’t do anything about the huge bill & that it was MY fault since I provided them the documents. Please be careful my fellow Unilocalers

Would love them to stop the door-​to-​door roaming in my neighborhood. I asked them if they had a permit to solicit door to door and he said we are the largest solar company in the nation. I told them I would like there card so I could call the company, but he refused. If you want to deal with ignorant people go ahead and listen to their can bs. Shady used car salesmen gone to sell solar in your home.
