I was sipping my soda talking to a local while doing some business work; I am from out of town and needed to work and eat lunch or an hour. The owner told me «Hey, you can’t be here all day.» I replied with: «Wow. Never in my life have I been told that as a paying customer of an establishment.» He said: «We’ll there’s a first time for everything.» I said: «Wow seriously? Are you in charge of this place?» He said«Yep.» I expect this franchise to disappear soon or change ownership. But in fairness, apparently it’s a rough part of town so perhaps he is in the habit of cutting down on loitering. Still though, that’s not the way to host. Locals seemed friendly though.

It’s near my work, which is in a seriously bad part of town with damn few lunchtime options, but I still won’t go here. They make a sport of seeing how little they can put in your sandwich before you say something. If you enjoy fighting to get more than a sliver of meat and a one dinky tomato slice in your sub, this is the Subway shop of your dreams.
