This is a great store. The employees are so helpful. They personally took the time to get the correct items for my daughter, who is 13 and new to ballet. They had everything we needed!

I love this store! If you dance and you need something this store will have it. From tiny dancers all the way to the mature prima ballerina Sunnyside department store is where it’s at. Don’t pay inflated prices at other shops that offer limited selection or buy junk at target. Go make the trek downtown to sunnyside and buy a quality dance item! The ladies that work/own the shop know all about dance. They also know what the instructors in town want to see when your child comes to class. They will get all fitted for your first class, your big show or your 50th dance class!

I went there Wednesday to go to get some leotards and tights for my ballet class in Fresno City, since my teacher says he gives his students 20 percent off our stuff. I’ve never been there before, so I Map Quest, and went on my merry way. I didn’t realize how far it was, since I was coming from the Fig Garden area. I was surprised where it was, since it’s really in the hood, and with quality dance clothes, I would think it would be in a nice location. It’s somewhat cramped there and a limited part of ballet leotards as designs go but a lot of different tights(footless, transversal, and sizes) And I think it’s the only dance store, other than the one in Clovis, In the Spotlight, that sell pointe shoes in the area. But don’t have a barre(or at least I think in the store, since everything is covered up from all this stuff) or a proper mirror to see how they fit. However, they’re cheeper from In the Spotlight. Other than that, they have a lot of different dance stuff — from belly dancing to square dancing to whatever you are looking for. With the shoes that match too. Which is nice, if you do a lot of other dance as well. The service was OK. When I got there, there was 3 people in the cramped store, one eating, and a baby in the mix as well. I was asking a girl if the had any elastic waist bands that’s used for ballet to keep your hip alignment in check. She has no idea what I was talking about, which waws strange to me, considering it’s a dance store, and they should kno these things by now. All in all, it’s a good store, but hard to see it somewhat from the clutter and small area of it all. But I would go to back to Into the Spotlight, only because it’s close to my house and they know what they’re talking about more then there.
