Every time we go it’s always fun to find new things. The food is not bad either. CLEAN bathrooms. They have people there cleaning the bathrooms ALLTHETIME. I love that. The lady who cleans the ladies bathroom is very friendly. I go here all the time.

I like this one… not like cherry auction where there’s a lot of knock-offs and so unorganized. I bought a lot of nice stuff from here. And only $ 2 parking fee is great

Awesome swap meet — so much better than Cherry Auction or the one at Madera Fairgrounds… there is no comparison. My husband and I go just about every Saturday or Sunday. It”s $ 200 to park – the parking is easy to get into and out of with plenty of spaces. There are a few«new» item vendors – mostly clothing, jewelry, cell phone accessories, hair bows, etc. but the majority is like mini garage sales, which is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I remember going to Sunnyside Swap Meet with my parents when I was a child(30+ years ago) and this one brings back great memories. It’s clean, organized & a fun way to spend a weekend morning. There are bathrooms(if the regular ones are closed you may have to use a port-a-potty, but no biggie), & many vendors sell water, soda & snacks – plus there are Churro vendors and an area with food trucks along with shaded seating. A big plus is they don’t allow animal sales of any kind, which I much prefer – and in fact, there are«no dogs allowed» signs posted as well – so don’t bring your pooch along on his leash for a morning stroll. All in all, a really fun experience, we always find something fun or interesting. If you are a shopper bring lots of dollar bills & a bag to carry stuff in, and if you are a vendor expect to find lots of shoppers looking for a good bargain!

Great Swap Meet, went this Sunday for the first time to sell a bunch of odds and ends and it was great. Organized and friendly staff, the spaces are big but we still got 2 since we had lots of stuff. if you want to get a space get here at 4:30 and no later than 5:00am. The buyers don’t really pay great but if you come to this swap meet with a set mind of getting rid of things, you will make money… I did awesome about $ 850, not bady for Sunday at the Swap Meet. No comparison to the Cherry Swap Meet, where I went the previous Tuesday… this one«sucks», unorganized, dirty, tight spaces, rude staff and hard to get a space even when they let you in, because there is no organization, other vendors won’t let you take spaces as they will claim them as taken and there is no one to complaint to.

Such a blast! From the past! I’m not that old(26), but I still remember being a kid visiting the original swap meet. Nothing has changed, this is still the most exciting thing to do in Fresno on a Sunday morning. What really holds the Sunnyside Swap Meet apart from the Cherry Auction and other Fresno Swap Meets is the fact that there is a majority of «junk» yard sale lots. I was bummed for years at the amount of farmers and merchants selling counterfeit clothing and appliances at the other swap meets, only to find a few lots of actual good ol’ junk. I feel like Fresno has enough stores that carry those items not to pollute the true culture of the swap meet. I can’t remember the last Sunday I didn’t make it out and find something amazing. I’ve made some friendships with a few regulars which keeps the warm welcoming atmosphere alive each week. Bring the family, some change, and discover some treasure you forget ever existed!
