Rating it as it is, simply a hotel bar, it deserves 3 stars. Bar tender was nice and held a conversation, prices are typical hotel bar priced. Atmosphere was a little too dark, could use some updating. They don’t serve food anymore, just popcorn. The bartender told stories of when they used to serve food, would be a pretty cool place to grab a bite to eat if you were staying overnight too, especially compared to the other options nearby

We ate here because we stayed at the Ramada and needed to eat quickly since we got in around dinner time. I ordered the salmon which was HUGE! I have never had such a large fillet offered at a restaurant. My husband ate a Shrimp Louie salad, and my daughter had the mini nachos. There wasn’t anything«mini» about it. We had good service and didn’t order anything except bottled beer from the bar. To end it, the waiter brought us 3 desserts«on the house». That was totally unexpected as we didn’t have any issues. I have to say, the éclair was wonderful.

I’m from Seattle — but I still can’t understand how you screw up a Cosmo or a Rum and Coke?! Those are my 2 staples — and after my Cosmo was served in a Margarita glass with a STRAW… I decided to switch to «old faithful» because HOW can you screw up a rum and coke? Sutter Street apparently doesn’t use lime very often. Because when I asked for one — the waitress looked at me like I was speaking Japanese. She didn’t get it. We met here twice because its located downstairs in the Ramada Inn(the hotel we stayed at while in Fresno on business) No bang for my buck, no charming servers or bartenders, lame atmosphere and apparently NO martini glasses.
