Takken’s Shoes

I’ve always purchased my uggs here and had a wonderful experience. The staff is always nice and helpful. They bring out sizes quickly and make sure you’re well taken care of! I’ll continue shopping here forsure :)

I went to Takkens the Saturday after thanksgiving, around 3pm. There were 3 people working at the register. No smiles. Cold vibe. You could tell they hated their job and didn’t want to be there, and they were not happy about me being there! I wanted to try on ugg boots so i brought 2 displays to the counter. The guy told me to put the displays back. When he brought the boots out he couldn’t bother to come out behind the counter to bring them to me. I liked the boots and wanted to buy them. But I wasn’t going to give them the commission on $ 200 boots. So I bought them elsewhere.

My wife’s mom needed a new pair of UGG Boots because her son’s dog chewed them all up. So I stopped by this store and was enthusiastically greeted by the sales rep. I usually don’t like walking into shoe stores because I always feel «pressured» to buy by the sales reps. But this one in particular made me feel at ease because he treated me like I was one of his buds. He had lots of funny jokes, which made my shoe shopping experience unlike any other! His customer service was excellent! I asked for some of his business cards to hand out to my friends and family, as I know this sales rep will take care of them as good as he took care of me. His name is Christian Reyna, and the title on his card says Manager In Training. I have no doubt in my mind that he’ll be an excellent Manager! Can’t wait to go back!

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Worst service ever they don’t even deserve the one star

I was an absolute pain… I had them special order shoes for me 3 times to get the right size and after all that I brought them back for Uggs… Aaron and Jimmy gave amazing customer service and I will absolutely be back again… And again… And again lol thank you!!!

If I can give them 0 stars I would. They reassured me over and over again that if my shoes were unworn I could still return them for my money back without the receipt. I tried returning UGG boots that i got as a gift and that were expensive. and they claimed I worn them even though I never did. So they wouldn’t allow me to return them. Never going to shop there again.

was looking for a pair of moccasins, the fir-​lined, real leather type and shopped all over the place. saw an ad for «ugg» shoes, which I know are super popular but I’d never bought any — guess I don’t keep up with the fads much. so I went on line, and found exactly what I was looking for and started calling local stores to see if any were in stock. ended up talking to logan, at takken’s shoes, but was unhappy to find that the mocs on line (men’s — which I need cause I have a big foot for a woman…) weren’t available. logan then told me that the woman’s shoe (called the «dakota») is exactly the same as the mens’ (called the «olsen»), and in stock.
a sales person that goes this extra step is so appreciated. he could have just said «nope, we ain’t got it» and I’d still be looking.
so I went down to try on the sizes available, and still couldn’t find one large enough cause the 9 was super tight, as was the 10, the largest they carry. he put up with me, let me try other similar shoes so I could maybe figure out what size i needed so i could buy on-​line, which i did, since a women’s 11 did exist. (seriously, I’m not a basketball player with super big feet — these just run really small…)
he said it didn’t matter whether I gave them the business by ordering at the store, or on line, so I did it on-​line. interestingly, the woman’s shoe was $ 20 less than the men’s and they are absolutely identical (check out the website if you think I’m kidding myself…)
the funny part is that guys come in looking for the «olsen» model, and he has to convince them that the woman’s shoe is exactly the same… I’d love to be a fly on the wall and watch the contortions guys go through when they really want the shoe but can’t deal with the idea of wearing a woman’s shoe…
logan is an excellent sales person with excellent customer service skills, both on the phone and in person. if you’re looking for some «ugg» shoes, I’d recommend both logan and this store.
