Torrey Ridge Apartments

don’t not move here, bedbugs infestation, car broken into and very rude office management, worst place to live in fresno. go somewhere or you will regrets moving here…

I’ve been staying here with my fiancé for about 10 months now and since then management has been such a pain in the ass! They come into my apartment and do ‘maintenance’ with out mine or my fiancé’s consent!!! Our AC wasn’t working all summer! There was a bed bug infestation! And gave the tenants a 24 hour notice for spraying. that’s not okay considering we both work 12 plus hours! The ladies in the office are never there! They are rude when you call them on the phone!

I am a resident here. I am not pleased with my stay Here at Torrey Ridge. I am happy that my 12 month lease is up this month! First off when I came here because the lady at the office was really nice to us and made us feel welcome. She gave us false information. She stated that if we can stay for 6 months and can easily transfer to a town home. When that 6 months came up we wanted to get out of our one bedroom apartment to transfer. She then told us that they can’t do that because of «new management». Torrey Ridge is not a safe gated community! Do not stay here! The gate is always open 24hrs! Homeless sleeping on the grass! And I was gunned & robbed at my own apartment parking lot and there’s always cars broken and stolen! This place does have cameras but the lady at the office said its placed at blind spots where you can’t see clearly who’s coming in. Then what’s the point of having cameras if it’s install at blind spot areas! When I made my police report the police said that this apartment complex is so big why don’t the owner install working cameras it’ll be helpful! Plus on top of that the Torrey Ridge post that there’s security patrols and my 12 months here I have never seen them! False!!! No safety what so ever! I don’t not recommend this apartment to anyone! Not safe! Bums everywhere at night!

Just DON’T. (one star is only because I had to select a star. I would give negative if I could) reasons why: where shall I begin… #1. people hang outside your apartment until almost 2 am have a FABULOUS time. laughing. yelling. screaming. etc. even though it is week nights and you may have a job. they do not care. neither does management. #2. pool hours mean nothing to management and Paul Bart (security). people will be in the pool yelling and screaming until all hours of the night. DONT EXPECT TO GET ANY SLEEP. #3 they will change ownership and policies on you without notifying you. #3. management is SUPER rude and could care less about any of your problems. #4. online rent payment will cost you $ 27 or more. so if you are out of town until the 5^th and turn in your rent payment on the 6^th because you weren’t going to pay online and pay them the stupid fee. expect a nice bill from them. #5. you will always need to carry mace or a knife or a gun with you if you would like to walk to your car after dark. if you are female expect to be whistled at.
I recommend not even looking at these apartments. I have been here for 8 months and im debating getting a lawyer and breaking my lease. I do not feel safe here and because of the policy change the manager will not allow me to adopt a large dog for protection. and they will only «contact» the paul bart security company to «make sure» they are doing their job… aka she will do nothing and I will have to call Fresno PD to actually do something. so expect additional police presence at this apartment complex.
ALSO: forgot to add. the gate is always broken. and so is everything in your apartment. expect to be filling out ALOT of maintenance requests. and the jobs be done half way. my door is hanging wrong. and all they did to fix it is add weather stripping on one side to close the 1 inch gap. rather than rehanging the door and aligning.
