I am 7 ½ months pregnant and wanted nothing more than a pedicure to relax me and my tired legs and feet. After a few hours of staring at Unilocal reviews of nail salons in my area, I finally settled on Venus.
I am thrilled that I did. I lucked out and had Hannah for my Mani and Pedi and she was AMAZING! The absolute BEST leg and foot massage I have ever had and it felt like my tired pregnant legs were revived into their pre-​pregnancy state for a while.
It has been 5 days since I was there and my Gels on my toes and fingers look perfect. Everyone in the salon was nice and pleasant to deal with and the environment was very relaxing.
I will definitely be going back to Hannah pre and post baby arrival.

If you want really good artwork on your nails, ask for «T» It is always nice to be pamper by her.

I have been going here for a year; I «followed» my nail technician Hanna here. She has been doing my nails for three years. I enjoy the professionalism and cleanliness of Venus Nail and Spa. They try to minimize any wait you may have and are very friendly. Hanna is wonderful, kind, funny and a perfectionist that likes to make her customers happy. I highly recommend her for her service, knowledge and compassion. She really listens to you what the customer wants and if you are unsure about something (i.e. Color, shape, additional service etc) she gives an honest opinion. If she is not available, heaven forbid, I only go to Mindy and Nathan.

Came here a few weeks ago, I wanted to schedule an appointment with Mindy but she was busy, so I said I would be serviced by any of the available techs. during my service, everything was great-​I got a full set done by Ringo. My full set was $ 44, a bit pricey but I figure if I’m paying for quality that’s perfectly fine.
when I got home, I realized that the color wasn’t really what I had in mind, and Nathan invited me back. they were very nice and added another coat of gel for me in a different color for free. I left Happy.
I have been getting my nails done for years and years, I know how long nails should last. These nails were lifting within three days, and by the end of the weekend I had NO nails left. At all. I called, and the owner said that he would not give me a refund, but that they would redo the nails for free. He wanted to have me get them redone by the same guy but I refused. I requested Mindy.
due to family issues, I was not able to make my appointment time. I came about an hour after, and I walked into a lecture from the owner about keeping appointments. I told him, very bluntly, that I wouldn’t even have to come back in if their nails had been quality and not come off. I was very upset, they were making me feel as if I was the inconvenience, when in reality THEY were inconveniencing me. They wanted to have me come back another day to get them done, but I told them that I wasn’t leaving without getting my nails redone.
Mindy did my nails for me, and they came out beautifully. They lasted almost 2 weeks, I went in for a fill today and they weren’t budging. Mindy is a wonderful nail tech. Hopefully her nails stay on for two weeks, I will update my review. I am very very picky with my nails, especially with the quality of the filing. Mindy’s work is very beautiful and meticulous, which I love.

I would normally give a 4 or 5 star review, but I had a horrible experience today. Got a fill from I think ‘Hanna’, a middle aged petite older lady with glasses (unless she used someone else’s cart). She was rude from the beginning. She lectured me about 3 – 4 times about waiting so long to get a fill, after I told her how busy my work and personal schedule is. Then she didn’t agree with the color I picked. I was angry but had experienced her attitude once before when she talked down on her chubby 8 – 10 yr old child, which I felt was completely innapropriate and cruel. Then at the end of my appointment, she asked if I wanted my eyebrows waxed, to which I said no because I have purposely been trying to grow them out because they became too thin after the last time I had them waxed. Then she said «You really need them done.» This infuriated me and I acknowledged, I know but I am waiting. To which she just stared at me and judged me until I stated yet again, «I know.» I left feeling insecure and upset because under no circumstance should someone comment/​judge you and pressure you like that. I had great service from a man named Ringo there and I will definitely make an appointment from now on with him. I still can’t believe how rude and judgmental she was. It ruined my Saturday.

Love this nail salon! All techs are wonderful and very friendly! Eric, Mindy and Tammy are my favorites.

Very, very clean and relaxing experience. I got a gel mani and its lasting 3 weeks later. My manicurist took his time and didn’t rush through the process.

Well, it’s been 4 days and my nails are still sticky. Also, the pedi says a 10 minute massage, but mine was about 45 seconds per leg. Going back to my safe place. Just wanted to try it, did, not impressed, done.

Nice guy who took my appointment. Lady seemed distracted doing my pedi. I had to ask to put a top coat. Fastest pedi I ever received. Felt RUSHED. It was my mother’s first experience getting a pedi and did not enjoy the fact that she was rushed as well as the lady trying to shove her sandals back on then ruining the job. Slow down, you’re going to end up fixing it anyways. We live in the neighborhood but will consider a drive to get decent service. Not coming back.

My mom goes here every other week, religiously. I’ve been here three times and I’m not changing that anytime soon. I don’t live in Fresno so whenever I’m home this is a for sure stop of mine. I could seriously sit here all day and get pampered. They definitely make you feel like a princess.

I have been getting my gel mani and pedi here for a year now and have never been disappointed with the service and care. The salon is beautiful. Love the color and the decors which is very elegant, and not too colorful and eye-​busy like other salon. This is an upscale salon. I love it!!!
I have also gotten acrylic nails done here with Eric. My nails are very oily, and often lift within a week but when they were done by Eric, I can pass 2 weeks: D

Brought my girlfriend here always have good service and decent prices. She’s never disappointed getting her nails done

I have been getting my nails done here for about a year. Great service and a clean salon. I see Mindy and I am impressed that somehow she is able to get my acrylic nails to stay on for almost an entire month without a fill.
If you are a tipper like me, make sure and bring cash. They don’t allow you to add a tip on your card.

I tried Venus nails and spa for the first time today. I got a pedicure for an upcoming trip and normally get mani/​pedis at this type of salon. The atmosphere was nice with soothing music. I was a walk in and waited only 5 minutes. The pedicure was ok, but what was terrible was the manicurist. I hadn’t shaved my calves this morning and she immediately said, «Ooohh! Your hair! I’m not gonna massage there.» I’m sorry, my leg hair is not razor sharp and I paid for a full pedicure. So, if you go, shave, or you’ll get less than a full service, but I won’t go back :((

My new nail salon! This place is great, I haven’t gone anywhere else since I found this gem. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The place is so new and clean, and the workers even speak English. I highly recommend this spot.
