This really should be two reviews — one for the inn, one for the ice cream parlor & restaurant. But both are 5 stars, so one should work! First, the inn. It consists of a few small, cozy rooms overlooking the lake. There’s a wonderful view in the morning as the fog rolls off the lake. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. It’s a great place to spend a few nights. The ice cream parlor is really a full featured lakeside diner — while the ice cream is superb and generously dispensed, the burgers, dogs, sandwiches, and other fare are exactly what you want after a day on or around the lake. Kids will love the giant pirate-ship-shaped balcony seating area(and did I mention the ice cream!) The owners are very personable, friendly, and quick to respond to anything.
