What a cute little place and family owned for generations, love it. The people were friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed the wine. Next time we’re in town I will not waste time with the other ridiculously rude Madera tasting rooms, this will be our one and only stop.

I really enjoy the drive out to friant and this place makes it even better. Pretty spot, friendly and informative staff, tasty wine(try the Sweet Cab!!!), plus they have some nice pickled garlic(I LOVE garlic) and plenty of snacks to enjoy along with your wine. I would absolutely recommend to others.

Wines are pretty good. Has a nice fruit stand/deli as well. The ambiance, however, is wanting. So much potential! But… You are greeted by a Greek Parthenon and immediately swallowed up in Pepto Bismal pink and gaudiness. Total rejects from the«Liberace House of Crap»(obvious Friends reference) and«grandmas house». Time to update people!

Stopped by this cute little vineyard on my way to Yosemite and had some of the best blackberries I’ve ever had! They’ve only been around for 4 years but have already won so many great awards. Recommendations: Reds– Darling Red & Cabernet Sauvignon Whites– Muscat Blanc

Had a very pleasant visit today. Thank you, Tommy for the great service. We got some cherries and pears. Wasn’t able to stay as long as we would have wanted as we were heading towards Lost lake and just decided to stop by. The area was great for lounging and enjoying your snacks and etc. I will definitely be back However, I am glad we were.

Ambiance is fun and friendly. Sumner Peck Ranch Winery 2011 Cana One Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Cabernet Franc. Tasting notes: little on the sour size which seems to be a common note among the Madera area wines, medium body. Sumner Peck Ranch Winery 2011 Cana One Chardonnay — Tasting notes: Light body, light sourness yet crisp. Suggested pairing: Chinese-style Orange Chicken Sumner Peck Ranch Winery 2011 Cana One Merlot — Tasting notes: again, a little on the sour side, medium body. Sumner Peck Ranch Winery 2011 Cana One Cabernet Sauvignon — Tasting notes: again, a little on the sour side, medium body. Sumner Peck Ranch Winery 2012 Cana One California Muscat — The debut of this wine occurred during Chocolate Weekend. Tasting notes: not as sweet as expected, closer to a Chardonnay flavor versus a Muscat, light body, crisp. Suggested pairing: Zabaglione topped with fresh berries Sumner Peck Ranch also carries honey. I’ve only seen honeycomb on TV, but never in real life. I had to try it. The honey tasted like the purest honey I’ve ever had, like liquid sunshine. Chewing on the honeycomb took some getting used to, but was an amazing experience.

I decided to take my mother here for her birthday and we really enjoyed our time here. We had wine and snacks with Ms. Carolyn peck and her family as we listened to Laura play the piano. They were extremely welcoming and we all had fun singing. This is a unique winery and different from all the ones I’ve been to in Napa. I loved the personal service, wine tasting and being able to shop for fresh fruits that came their farm. This is a great place to stop by when your in the Fresno area!

Much better than the 41 location! After watching the glass structure slowly take shape, I’m pleased to see how much attention to detail was placed into this pleasant roadside stop. Whether you are on your way to Millerton, heading to(or from) the casinos, or just taking a drive to get away from the city, this is a must stop spot if you need to take a break. Have lunch, grab a snack or stock up on local produce, cheeses, wine and nuts… you’ll love anything you select! The selection seems slightly different than the location on 41, but the fruit selection is far superior! And, the new location is set up for activities, parties or just a day with friends.

You guys ever notice that weird looking glass, white and red building to your left on the way to Table Mountain? The BF and I decided to stop by and this place is pretty awesome! They have loads of local produce as well as local jams, wine, and olive oils. Tommy, I think he’s the owner, was so nice! He introduced himself to us and even went through some great products they sell. He even gave us a sample of this homemade slushy he made with pure pomegranate juice which was super tart, all natural goodness. One cup of that thing was $ 3 which I thought was a good price after you think about how much pomegranate juice usually costs. Their nuts were pretty cheap too. From what I saw the 8 oz. ones were only like $ 3. Great place, great customer service. will definitely be coming back.

Do you love fresh, locally grown friuts, veggies and herbs? Then you must, must, must stop by Sumner Peck’s newest location! The all glass building is filled with fresh and dried goodies, homemade wine, inviting lounge areas inside and out, a beautiful view of thier vineyard and the mountains. You’ll feel like you escaped Fresno even though you only drove a few minutes away. I ate the whole package of dried okra I bought, gobbled down freshly picked, sweet cherries, and drank wine straight from the tank! You must go here, relax, drink wine, eat healthy snacks and enjoy yourself!
