Location right on the water is perfect! Breakfast is amazing! The owners are very welcoming and helpful with information about the island. Pick this place over the other resorts. This is a true bed and breakfast.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Longhouse B&B while visiting the island for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. The owners, Pat & Jerry, are married and completely charming. Pat greeted us every morning with gourmet breakfasts that were to die for. They were very knowledgeable about the island and were able to suggest plenty of fun and interesting activities. The house itself is really cool and rustic looking yet comfortable and the interior is loaded with character, not to mention QUIET. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Longhouse and will definitely be suggesting it to others.

This is a lovely place to stay if you’re planning a trip to The San Juan Islands. Husband & wife team, Pat & Jerry Rasmussen, run this beautiful B&B right on the water. There are beautiful guest rooms in the main house and a rustic cottage closer to the water. Patty is a top notch chef, so the breakfasts are heavenly. And the island has so much to experience from the wildlife (whales, otters, bald eagles, seals…) to the historic sites (American Camp and English Camp) and you can dine at one of the many restaurants in Friday Harbor. I can’t wait for my next visit.
