Fancy Nails is a hidden gem! Jenny is one of the friendliest and funniest women I’ve ever met. She truly cares for all of her patrons and she makes you feel welcome the moment you walk into her salon. I’m so glad while I was visiting Pearland I needed my nails done. I’ve had acrylic nails for over 29+ years, but changed to SNS nails January 1, 2016. When I walked into Fancy Nails, Jenny knew my nails were SNS, I was very impressed. She started taking off my nails until Bori was ready for me. Where do I begin about Bori!!! She is a beautiful, kind, personable woman and a joy to talk to. I told her I love French nails, but not with SNS nails because they can’t make the white thin enough. She assured me she could make the white thin. I told her ok, let’s do French. I’m soooo glad I did, because Bori did a fabulous job!!! My nails have never looked better! I’m thinking about coming to Pearland once a month to get my nails done.

Very unsatisfied with my service here at fancy nails. Typical run of the mill, plaza nail salon. Stopped by for a pedi and full set with Boree. I paid for a deluxe pedi. I hadn’t had my nails done is several weeks and new I had some serious cleaning and fixing that needed to be done. So I was surprised when my cuticle cleaning and nail filling was minimal at best. I counted ten scrubs of the pumice stone on each foot. Which obviously left me quite rough a few days out. And the paint job was crappy, I have an issue when I have to ask a professional to clean up their work, when they can clearly see the nail polish on my cuticle and skin.
Paint job ran the same for my full set and had to repeatedly ask for my cuticles to be cleaned and sides of the nails to be painted. And because the shape of my nail she added a extra charge which is bogus, because I’ve been getting my nails done like this for years and have yet to hear that. So my sub par full set with gel polish was $ 50 my less than deluxe pedi was $ 25. Even though I was not happy still left a tip. However, I will say I liked the way my nails were shaped. I have no issues paying out money for services where the quality matches the expense. This is not the case at Fancy Nails. To add insult to injury my right pointer finger nail broke off 4 days after the service. I am still on my quest for quality nail services as I just moved to this area, so it would be appreciated if anyone can lead me in the right direction.

Today was my visit here and I WILL be back. This is the first nail shop I went to since moving to Texas what actually listen to what I wanted. The prices here were great and the staff was awesome. I’m looking forward to my next visit there to hang with them. Just like the other girl said the ladies here wants to be on a name to name basis with you. I also made it here after 5:50 and they were still awesome and didn’t mind staying a little after 7pm.

Fancy Nails is not as popular as the other nail salons in Friendswood, but that’s not a bad thing at all. Wait is never too long, quality is great, and staff is on a name-​to-​name basis with their customers.
I go to get acrylic sets with Jenny, she listens to what design you want and follows through with it. There are many powder, gel and regular polish color selection. I recommend over the other places in Friendswood.
