Texan Pest

Thomas D. hired Texan Pest to come to a roach infested vacant rental property of which is no big deal, we handle all the time these type of situations.
I gave him our normal price for this type of infestation, 350 + tax which included 2 visits 10 – 14 days apart. He then asked for any type of discount, no problem, we can do up to 2 visits at 110+tax each. If we could get control from 1^st major treatment he might be able to skip the 2^nd one, albeit rare, thus saving him between 130 up to 240.00 off to help Thomas out. Thomas D contemplated over another cold beverage and gave the go ahead for the 110.00 + tax and «hoped it only took 1 visit». This was a major infestation and I understood his concern seemed to be to get a client moved in asap so his concern was my concern at that point so a very thorough job was done and I personally explained to Thomas that the roaches that were left would be sterile and could hatch out similar to fleas for a couple of weeks yet not be able to reproduce, meaning he would still see roaches, especially since there were thousands present. That if we did have to do the the 2^nd visit it was for the fee again of 110.00 + tax as already explained and the total kill time would be 2 to 4 weeks.
Now fast forward 10 days, Thomas D calls and states, why did I even pay you 110.00 we still have roaches. Then starts talking down to me beligerently and down to me personally so I told him nicely, «if you are going to continue talking down to me rather than too me, then I cannot help you further», i repeated this exact comment multiple times as he rudely belittled me personally. I should have hung up. Had this been to our staff we would have told him to call someone else, period. I reluctantly (being the nice guy in the service industry I still wanted to help) so I scheduled another service and even told Thomas it would be at no extra fee, of which Thomas no showed the appointment the day it was scheduled, having to reschedule the next day. We at Texan pest try to go the extra mile for anyone, donating services for good causes, extending our resources to help others, and take pride in our work. I have been on 6 church retreats in 5 years, I volunteer at my church 3 nights per week, raise our awesome kids and have a beautiful wife whom all have helped me recover from a kidney transplant 1 yr 3 mos ago. I know we can all have a bad day but don’t take it out on others, people genuinely want to be helpful and do a great job. I will not stand by and allow someone to belittle and be derogatory to me when I went the extra mile at little and eventually no cost and then receive this negative review. I have fired 3 customers in 22 years. 1 was when we found a large bundle of drugs while moving clothes for a flea job (we politely left), the 2^nd was a lady in Corrigan that answered the door, «my son warned me about people like you» (that was a learning experience), 3^rd will have been Thomas D. For being rude, talking down to me, belittleing me personally, and his total lack of listening or «recalling» all the information I went over with him about the protocol of getting rid of his roach problem.
Thomas D. If you do happen to read this, I will still gladly reservice your rental property and will not charge you 1 dime. Just be nice :) life is too short to be bitter to others.

I’m not sure who he paid to write his reviews but they are ridiculous! He came out once and the problem was not resolved whatsoever had to plead with him to come out once more! He thought I was being rude to him but just told him I didn’t get what I paid for. He reluctantly came out again but still didn’t kill the bugs! Do not waste your money! Hire someone else!

After selling my house, the buyer requested a pest control treatment prior to closing. Even though I live on the other side of town, Texan Pest Control came out in a very timely manner and went above and beyond the call of duty! Highly recommended!
