Cici’s Pizza

I am a big fan of Cicis. On my visit to the location on ²⁄₁₂ the restaurant was swamped, could not keep up with food stocking. Most items were ‘out’, there were not enough staff to prep, cook, and stock food.
Failure to clean salad bar, so that loose salad was on surfaces and floor. Failure to bus tables and clean. Failure to keep tables in good repair (napkins stuffed under one table leg to make it somewhat level. Failure to keep dirty dish bins regular emptied, floors were dirty in need of both sweeping and mopping. Forks, knife bins empty — had to go to counter and was provided with flimsy plastic utensils (possibly for to go orders).
Restaurant manager was not visible in restaurant while we were eating, and did not adequately plan for staffing and meal line prep to keep product stocked. One cash register for taking buffet orders. cash register staff were pleasant, although speed of service was slow.
Other cici’s such as frisco/​preston road, and park/​coit do not have these problems. I have eaten at Cicis since 1995 — hundreds of times.
Cicis district manager — please read these reviews and improve this location.

Very bad service. Came in to no food. When they brought out the «fresh» pizza, it was not fresh, it was still undercooked. Pizza too greasy, I am very disappointed. If you love Cici’s pizza like I do and want some delicious, fresh pizza, go somewhere else, not here! Also, the drink machine doesn’t work, my boyfriend tried getting Hi-​c lemonade and all that came out was water! Never again are we coming here!

Leaving now. Came in to no food, and apparently everyone else is waiting too. Poorly managed and poorly run. Drink machine flooded, so isn’t working and we watched as one pizza was put up and one group of boys came up with their hands and grabbed it all. No silverware.
We came in tonight at 5:15 and there was simply no food. We watched for 20 minutes as one pizza was put on and then devoured by all the young kids that had been there waiting for pizza. The only pizza flying out was people picking up to go orders. Nothing was stocked; the salad bar was sparse, no soup, no pastas and zero desserts or pizza. There wasn’t even silverware and the employees just don’t care. We got s refund and went to Rosas. Will never be back.

Quantity over quality… and even with that its still trash pizza (cheese pizza)
Ran by kids with attitude problems that have no clue. Toppings on pizzas are nonexistent and just dirty.
I’m not sure why we decided to make this a Sunday lunch spot, but we did, and I regret it.
I guess for kids (11 & 9) …it’s ok…
Save your $ 5 and get PIZZA HUT.

Went Sunday evening at 7:00. Place was nearly empty. The pizza on the buffet was old, having lost that fresh taste. Found one that was still hot and the cheese still melted. Ate some of that. The buffet was messy and nobody was taking care of it. One kid in a green shirt was observing it with a smile, probably thinking that he was doing a great job making sure the pans were full. They are full of dried out, cooled off pizza! Were no pizzas going into the ovens while I was there. I left and went to Little Caesers to get a pizza to go home.
Several Plates next to the buffet had dried food on them in the plate stack. Place looked unkept!

These guys are so good. Hard working staff and not easy to please an immediate community of 5,000 people.
Great eats. Love the suggestions of thin crust chicken, red onions and jalapeños pizza from the manager.

Been in this Cici’s for 20 minutes and they still no have any pepperoni or cheese on the bar. Cheese is all my son eats. The one on 75 never runs out of pizzas. People at this one keep going back to the bar to see the same 3 pizzas that have been sitting there since no one wants them, and they are now dried up. This place is not run well.

The new buffet location of CiCi’s in Little Elm was suppose to be exciting. The location is very tiny and when I was a child I remember going to CiCi’s with a large team. This location would not allow for more than one sports team to eat at a time. There is very little seating and the pizza ran out quite frequently. The salad bar had a nice assortment of toppings/​veggies and there were several selections for salad dressings. The desserts (cinnamon bread, chocolate pizza and something with pineapple on top) were almost instantly gone.
I hope this location stays in business since it is a cheap eat but the lack of seating I think will harm them in the long run.

The silverware is so nasty dirty and discusting and the general manager. Roger Oliva it has a very bad attitude…

I KEEP KICKING MYSELF EVERY TIME I COME HERE! Why do I let myself get talked into this??? WHY WHY WHY. Every time I walk in the pizza bar is empty. I’m talking 6pm on a Friday night. I ask the manager for a pizza for my family and they bring out a 6 slice small pizza for my family of 5. Yes 3 teenage boys (6 pizzas). REALLY? Manager want to explain himself… corporate won’t let us! REALLY? A table of 5 and they bring us 6 small pieces cause he can’t make more than 1 pizza custom order. Can you not think outside the box? Does CiCi’s not allow there managers to use their brains?
IVE SAID IT 10 TIMES BIT I MEAN IT THIS TIME!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK!

Probably the worst visit I’ve ever had. My kids love this place but I won’t be back. Major cleanliness issues and cold, cold pizza on part of the serving aisle due to the warmer being off. I wouldn’t have minded but it turned my kids off completely.
The topper… Probably the worst restroom I’ve ever seen. Shouldn’t have to step over feces to get to the toilet AND the urinal.
Don’t like giving bad reviews but this couldn’t go without a comment.

Look, this isn’t Grimaldi’s or Campisi’s and if you write a review comparing Cici’s pizza to that type of pizza joint, you’ve wasted everyone’s time. Families and teams come here for one reason: to get full cheaply and every six to eight weeks when my family feels the need to do that, Cici’s doesn’t disappoint. We tried this location as a «closer to where we were at the time» than our usually home location and it appeared bright, fairly clean, and well-​staffed. The new stuffed crust pizza is what brought us in this time and we were afraid we’d have to wait for fresh ones to be made but this fear was alleviated by the promptness of the pizza makers putting out a new one roughly every 5 – 7 minutes. Personally, I took advantage of my usual sampling of the salad bar (this place hooked me on eating pizza with salad mandatory!), chicken soup, garlic cheese bread, and «pink sauce» (yes, Alfredo and marinara mixed together), as well as a light plate of my usual spinach Alfredo pizza and only needs two pieces of the stuffed crust to declare it very good, or as my seven year old put it, «Stuffelicious!»

I have never left a good not bad review but after coming here after a couple of times and see that it’s the same thing I felt the need to do so. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I went in today and as soon as I enter the cashier was finishing up a take out order. I was shocked to see that she was eating a slice of pizza in front of her (am I the only one who thinks this is not only rude but so unprofessional).
There were probably 2 families finishing up and there weren’t any fresh pizzas made. I asked the manager when we’re the fresh pizzas going to come out and he rudely answered in just a minute and then pulled 2 whole pizzas from the bottom (not the oven). I was immediately disguised to see that. I know it’s cheap pizza buffet but great service is always a must, at least on my book. Overall it was a very bad experience from the get go. I will never return to this location.

Worst pizza ever. No wonder why it is so cheap. No thank you I would rather spend more money on good pizza.
