Stayed at the Westin Stonebriar this past week and opted to stay at the hotel to watch the GRAMMYs. The staff was really accommodating and let our party of 6 take over one of the 3 TVs at the bar. Ernie’s has a pretty limited menu but it is a bar after all! What’s offered on HH Mon — Sat 4 – 7 is really only available during HH. Otherwise, they have burgers/sliders, sandwiches, pasta & chef specials. Service was decent. not the best I’ve had but we were pretty engrossed in the GRAMMYs so I didn’t mind. Apps: *Chips with Queso, Guac & Salsa: I wish the salsa was pico de gallo. the consistency was like tomato soup *Wings: Didn’t eat these but the table did! Seemed pretty standard. *Bacon wrapped Jumbo Shrimp: I took off all the bacon because of my new Pescetarian diet BUT the jumbo shrimp was so good. Perfectly good. Nikki K. mentioned that there was too much bacon so some parts of the bacon weren’t cooked enough *Spinach Artichoke Dip: Interesting that it was served with pita but pretty good nonetheless Entrees: Everyone at the table ordered some variation of a burger. I ended up with the tuna burger. It wasn’t dry or anything but it was interestingly cooked… very inconsistent. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the wasabi coleslaw. The sliders looked HUGE. everyone seemed pretty happy with their orders. It’s not bad. but if you can get out, I don’t see why not!
