Frisco Commons has developed fantastically. I’ve lived in the Frisco area since ’98 and this park has changed so much, and for the better! The Veterans Memorial is an amazing touch to the park and is one of the many reasons I give this park 5 stars. If you’re up for a walk on a beautiful day and want to stay in Frisco, head to Frisco Commons. There’s trails, a lake, the memorial, and playgrounds for the kids.

Frisco Commons Park is awesome. It has a huge playground for kids, where they can climb, slide, swing, and more. The spray ground, in a separate area, is really neat too. It is a great way to cool off after walking on the trails.

We heart Frisco Commons! Always a fun time at this huge park. Tons of parking, it’s located near a subdivision tucked away off of Main street near downtown Frisco. The playground area is huge, my daughter always has a blast and meets new friends. They have a fun spray park that is opened in the summer. They close down sometimes due to water conservation, so make sure to check the schedule online before you head down there. It’s really nice aesthetically too, a lot of people take photos here. Definitely a fun places for some family fun!

Its a great way to entertain kids during the summer. The splash area is really fun but the only downside is that the water can turn off and stay off for like 10 min or more even after you hit the button a few times. The park is big and cant wait to try it out.

It can get crowded on weekends, so your best bet is to find time on a weekday. It is clean and very well maintained. Aside from the annoying mom’s groups encroaching on my space, it’s a fun time with my kiddo. Be warned of this crap coming at you if you are trying to enjoy the afternoon alone with your child: «Hi fellow mommy, would you like to join our group?» No thanks, but if I do decide to start wearing sweatpants in public at 2 in the afternoon and essentially give up on life, I know where to find you.

I consider this the central park of Frisco. It is off of Main Street and on a crowded day, parking is tough. There is a little neighborhood across the street but I am sure they are not fond of the park goers parking there, and you have to cross the street, which can be tough with stuff and/or kids. That said, the playground here is amazing. the playground itself, called Hope Park, has its own Unilocal entry. There are separate sections for all ages and an ice cream man constantly hovering. In the summer months, there is a splash park. For those who want to enjoy nature, there is a lot of open space, including a lake and some trails in the back. A bigger parking lot and basketball and/or tennis courts gets this review to a 5 star. This park, almost has something for everyone.

Frisco Commons Park is an absolute delight. Beautiful grounds and very well maintained. Attached to the park is Hope Park, which is the kids play ground, that is AMAZING and a spray area perfect for the summer. They have a paved walking trail that goes around the entire park. In the park you will find a big pavilion with picnic tables, a veterans memorial dedicated to the veterans that served in the Korean, Vietnam and Desert Storm wars, a nature garden, BBQ grills, public restrooms, a giant amphitheater, a fully stocked pond on the north end of the park and nature trail near the pond. This is one of my favorite parks in the North Texas area. I always enjoy bringing my daughter here to let her play at Hope Park or even just to walk around and take pics while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Great park to begin with, but with the additions of the spray ground and Hope Park it is really one of the best parks around. I’ve separately reviewed Hope Park(5 stars — it’s great), but I have to mention the spray grounds. They were nice before, but over this winter they built restrooms and several sheltered areas for it and that made it really outstanding. So much fun for the whole family. As for the rest of the park, it is well maintained and has a nice lake and a small wooded area as well as covered picnic areas. All around a great park and our favorite one.
