I was referred to Dr. Salinas by my physician. I scheduled an appointment, showed up 15 mins before my scheduled time… Little I know I’ll be spending quite some time in the waiting area… To be exact 45min-1hr after appointment time. Finally I get to the front desk with the question, when I’ll be seen and they were answering rudely that there was an emergency that’s why is the wait that long… I told them that little communication or heads up will make a huge difference! Just have some respect for people time! It’s not like we choose to sit in your waiting area for hours! Trust me we have better things to do!!! It’s as simple as this: «Hi Miss, thank you for showing up on time, we are experiencing longer wait due to emergency incident, we apologizing for inconvenience!». Just acknowledgement of the fact that you care about your patient’s time!!! Then I see Dr. Salinas and he was very brief, rushed and inpatient. Excuse me I waited for this appointment for 4 weeks and please have some respect and answer my questions and have some dignity to explain all the causes and issues. No instead I was asking him questions while he was rushing out the door… Very pleasant experience, right? Next was a nurse who comes in after Dr. left and hands me a piece of paper with the prescription. I ask what is all this medication for and if she can explain to me why and how much I should take. You know what was her response? «I’m not a pharmacist, you should call your pharmacy and ask!» I said: «You must be kidding right?» I need to leave doctors office to call pharmacy and ask what did doctor just prescribed me??? SHe replied back: «I can call them for you!» At that point I was done!!! I said I need to talk to the doctor, well she said he already left for the day… Nice ha… Finally some other nurse happened to know what that medication on the list was for and it was pain killers, 2 different types. I said my pain is not as severe and I don’t want to take pain killers. Well, she said you don’t have to :) After all I’ve been scheduled for Physical therapy, I show up 10 mins early again, the front desk tells me to sit down and wait. I do as I’m directed. 10 mins past my appointment time I ask front desk again, if someone is going to come out and get me. Remark, it was my first time. And she replied back, NO you should just go in there! HELLO, where is simple skill called communication!!! Hello Miss, thanks for arriving early, you can have a sit and wait and go in there when it is exact time of your appointment. ITISTHATSIMPLE!!! COMMUNICATEPROPERLY!!! The only reason why you are getting 2 stars is because of Physical Therapist Lance, who seemed to be the only one who showed interest in my well being and truly wants to help! That is the only person out of your entire staff who sat down and did proper evaluation and listened to my concerns and is interested in working towards getting me fee better!

My first visit with Dr. Salinas and his staff was great. I have upper and lower back problems. They answered all of my questions. And explained what it will take to recover. They set me up with physical therapy. And I’m on my way to my normal routine. I.e. Golf Tournaments. Thanks again Doc.

Extremely happy with Dr. Salinas and Frisco Spine. My wife went to see him about her cervical stenosis on January 20. He correctly recognized that she was much too sick for her symptoms to be related to just her stenosis and he admitted her to Centennial Medical. There she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome where she received the appropriate treatment for that condition. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Salinas.

The staff scheduled and got me in quickly. their facility is AMAZING. they have a very nice PT room right behind the check in desk. the nurse that walked me back was pleasant. Dr. Salinas was quick, but thorough. Specialists and surgeons dont have the best bed side manner. but im not their for him to chat with me, im there for him to tell me what is wrong with me. all in all, it was a good experience. The staff even let my husband steal a donut they had sitting in their break room. haha

Both my spouse and I have had care at Frisco Spine. My spouse just had a surgery on his lower lumbar. Dr. Salinas and his team took great care of him and all our family. We felt very confident in the procedure and the communication before and after the surgery were professional and considerate. My spouse spent the night at Centennial Hospital and although they woke him constantly they were very professional in helping with the post operation healing process. The experience was above and beyond the normal medical practice we have experienced in the past. Dr. Salinas was able to explain his process with seriousness and a little humor. We have been very pleased with the whole experience.

I won’t go back to Dr. Salinas at Frisco spine. To begin with, I felt he didn’t care one way or another about me or my back issues. He spent a few minutes with me and I don’t think he even looked me in the eye. His«bedside» manner is terrible. I was given a back brace that wasn’t right for me. The top of the brace digs in to where the breaks in my back are located. I wore it once and put it in the closet. Now they’re billing $ 4,600 for it, they won’t take it back and they do not rent the items. Insurance won’t cover it because they say the doctor’s office did not bill it correctly. The doctor’s office says they«can’t» send the claim back through. I really feel this place is all about raking in the money. Beware of Frisco Spine.
