The service was slow(30 minutes for our appetizers). When our entrees came, mine was basically spaghetti with tomato soup and veg all. My wife’s dish(Kathmandu Palau) was just rice with more veg all and some coconut milk. We could have done a more authentic and pleasing dinner cooking at home.

I have eaten here twice and the food is consistently outstanding at a very reasonable price! The lunch buffet is $ 7.99 and it is delicious. Excellent service, cozy atmosphere! Authentic Himalayan cuisine. Highly recommend!

I am by no means an Indian food expert, however I found the meal to be very good. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked. The naan was excellent. And the prices were very reasonable. Will return on another ski trip.

Had an awesome experience here on a recent trip to Summit County. The owner and staff helped us pick out amazing dishes. Fantastic experience!

The food here was very fresh and the service was friendly. Tip: try the masala chai here; it’s very, very good with dessert.

Food is of very poor quality and the portion size for the one starter(paneer pakoda) we had was small. We ordered chicken pasanda, chicken chili, and two vegetarian items, all of which tasted the same. On top of that they have a 15% tip policy regardless of the service you receive. We had a very bad experience visiting this place. Lastly, to make matters worse they messed up the bill and charged us a good $ 35 extra. Fortunately we we are able to catch this. This might have been a one time mistake but it certainly added to the overall poor experience. Not recommended at all.

Worst Indian food I’ve had in USA. There was almost no flavor in the dishes. Paneer in the pakoras tasted very sour. And finally, the cashier messed up the bill and added $ 15 extra in the total! If you’re in town looking for good Indian food, this is not the place at all.

Worst food ever, acknowledged even by the restaurant staff themselves. One of the waiters warned of the bad food, and sure he was right to every word he said.

Chicken curry was delicious. Hours on Unilocal seem inaccurate. Would certainly come back again

I loved this restaurant! I am up from Denver by myself to ski for a couple of days and wanted somewhere casual where I could read my book alone and not feel too odd; this was perfect. I ordered Chana Saag and Garlic Naan — both were amazing! Some of the best naan I’ve ever had! The servers were all very friendly, too. I don’t understand these bad reviews — will certainly be back here next time I’m in Frisco — and will bring the boyfriend next time, too. :) Yay for this place! Go here!

After walking inside and being sat the waiter never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. In fact, we had to ask for water and even after that he never asked if we wanted anything else. Following ordering it took our food over an hour to come out. Terrible service, terrible restraunt, eat somewhere else. Update: our food was given to another table so we had to wait again. Update: chicken is terrible and tastes like rubber

My wife and I had an excellent experience. The service was good, the food was excellent. I wasn’t impressed with the rice, but the chicken vindaloo was spicy and flavorful, and the chicken cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Gobi Masala and it was incredible. It has a smoky flavor that really enhanced the taste if the cauliflower. We also ordered garlic naan and it was good. Those dishes left enough for a second meal. We walked out of there having spent $ 30 and entirely satisfied. We will go back. I saw the other reviews that rated them unfavorably. My experience was not that and that at worst they may be inconsistent, but know the potential is high. I found the place to be a gem.

Worst Nepalese/Indian food ever! DONOTEATHERE! The food has no taste and is not fresh. The rice pudding had curdled from being so old. Disgusting and unsafe! This place should be closed down by the health department.

This is my first review in Unilocal. What made me write this review? It’s the food at this place! I never thought someone can screw Indian food this bad. I have eaten at various Indian restaurants through out the country but this one tops the list of worst food ever that I have tried so far. If anyone is here in Brekenridge for a trip and want to try some Indian food. Don’t get fooled by this place, there is nothing good you can get from here. We went to this place with a family of 10 and ordered everything from naans to Biriyanis and those curries. They used frozen vegetables in all the dishes and taste is horrible. Don’t waste your money here!

The food tasted old. Dumplings were especially foul, as were the samosas — spit out into a napkin and gargle with water bad. The vegetable sampler plate had old, fried chunks that do not pass for food when they are that hard or sour! The waitress was sweet and attentive, trying her best. She asked us if we wanted water without ice, we said yes, she brought water with ice anyway. We were the only table other than one group of 4. Shortly after they left, the radio in the kitchen got louder with dance music and the cook wheeled giant trash cans through the eating area and out the front door. We left at 9:20p, as fast as we could. For excellent Himalyan/Tibetan food, check out Sherpa House in Golden.

The service was excellent. Our food arrived quickly. It was tasty and not to spicy. They accepted our Unilocal voucher($ 15 for $ 30) without a problem. Portions were generously sized.

I really should have heeded most of the reviews for this place. They were right. My husband and I were walking down Main Street and we were hungry. We didn’t want anything American to eat. Nothing was sounding good. We really wanted Chinese, but in Frisco you’re pretty limited for Asian cuisine. We were walking by this restaurant and I checked the reviews. Not terrible, but not great either. It smelled really good outside so we took a chance. We saw chicken vindaloo on the menu, so right away that’s what we ordered, with an order of garlic naan. That’s what we always order when we go to Indian restaurants. We were hoping they would make it spicy enough for us because some places don’t make it very spicy. What we weren’t expecting was that they would make it so spicy that we couldn’t enjoy the meal. The vindaloo was so hot that I was gulping down water after every bite. And I shouldn’t say it was spicy, because that would mean I could taste actual spices, which I love. It was just hot, like it was flavored with a hot pepper. It tasted one dimensional. Usually when I order chicken vindaloo from most restaurants(and I’ve ordered it lots of times), I can taste a lot of different spices and it tastes multi-dimensional. I wouldn’t say the vindaloo was horrible, but it wasn’t as flavorful as I was expecting it to be and it was too hot. The naan was very good, though. The portions were good, but the prices were pretty high. I don’t think I would come back here again. The food is very«meh» as another reviewer said. And the service was very poor. I had to hunt down the waitress to refill my water. I was dying with that red-hot vindaloo. You’re better off going somewhere else.

It is a 2.5 for food and service. After checking recent reviews we decided to give it a try. The reviews and ratings are right on. The food is «meh» and the service is shaky. While I’m no Indian/Asian expert, we do eat a lot of Indian and Asian cuisine. The food was simply not impressive but it isn’t bad either. In Frisco there are few alternatives I hope it was our waitress’ first day because she was clueless. I would eat there again but mainly for variety and the fact we try to eat a healthier diet.

The food and service was decent, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our appetizer, samosas, came within 5 minutes and our entrees within 20 minutes. We purchased the $ 15 for $ 30 deal on Unilocal and they had a hard time processing it. We also checked in via Unilocal for an additional 15% off, but they refused to honor this along with the $ 15 for $ 30. So if you’re coming here with a family and plan to spend around $ 100, you’re better off just checking in via Unilocal and getting 15% off. We ordered the boti saagwala and saag paneer and both were served in small bowls. They also gave us a very small bowl of rice. Not enough for the two of us. The garlic naan was great though. Good size, good flavor, good price. Overall, a decent place, but without any deals or discounts, it is on the higher end.

Please spend your money elsewhere. The food was mediocre. They have no idea what Chicken Biriyani is. The service was horrible. The vegetables were uncooked in parts. Was overall a terrible experience. The worst part was its a small joint, with a single cook, they took over 2 hours to get our main course. Would not recommend for anyone, especially if you’re going here after skiing. You are not going to get your food on time. To top it off, the owner ripped us off, after using the Unilocal deal of $ 15 for $ 30, he gave us only $ 20 off.
