GREAT experience at Renew Family Dentistry! I broke my back molar while out to lunch with a client on Wednesday afternoon. The office is located blocks from my home, so it was convenient and I thought I’d give them a try since I am new to the area and hadn’t found a dentist yet. I called Thursday morning and they found a spot to squeeze me in even though they had 2 other emergencies call in the same day. After the exam, Dr. Maxwell explained in detail what the problem was (actually diagnosed something I’ve been dealing with for years and affects my life on a daily basis!) and came up with a treatment plan that I could afford. Once they started working on my mouth, he said he felt they had caught the problem in time that the tooth could be saved and I probably wouldn’t need a root canal, but only time would tell. I had quite a bit of pain and sensitivity to even the cold water, and cold air, during treatment, and they would stop working to make sure that I was numb and comfortable before they proceeded throughout. It took awhile to get my mouth to respond to the anesthetic, but they were patient and took their time with me, even though they had several other patients to tend to at the same time. I don’t think any of us felt like we didn’t have his full attention or that he was rushing while working on us. He has GREAT chair side manner, and he REALLY cares about the comfort and well being of his patients and it shows in how he communicates, and how he works. I actually ended up having to come back for a root canal on Monday. I had been having pain through the weekend, and I was able to get in contact with him, and he called in a prescription for antibiotics and pain medication (on a Sunday even, while he was on a bike ride with his family!) This guy is truly a saint! I called the office Monday morning as directed when I talked to him on Sunday, and they fit me in again. I had never had a root canal, so I wasn’t sure what to expect (honestly I was expecting quite a bit of pain because of what I had been told by friends and family who had them before), I have to say… painless. I felt better immediately, and haven’t had any problems. One of the best experiences I’ve EVER had at the dentist. I will go back, I will take my family. I will refer friends, family and anyone I know that asks about a dentist. This guy is legit!

Words can’t explain how great I feel after leaving this office after my VERY FIRST visit. From the first phone call to book an appointment up until this day, I am more than completely satisfied!!! The whole staff went above and beyond normal expectations to make me feel welcome and wanting to come back. I can guarantee you that I (and everyone I know) will be a life-​long customer. I will recommend again and again. Keep up the WONDERFUL work! :)
