We were craving something other than a brewery and this hit the spot. Excellent sushi and good service! We would definitely return for the Tsunami and Monster Dragon roll.

Was in town vacationing and craving sushi, so my girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try. We saw that they offered«happy hour» from 4−6pm, so naturally we decided this would be the best time to go. We arrived at around 5:15 and were told they were«on a 45min wait and would not be seated until after happy hour.» So then we decided to get it to-go.BUT we were informed that they did NOT offer ANY food to-go while on a wait b/c it would«be unfair to the customers waiting.» WTF?!

Spent the weekend in Frisco and this was one of the highlights for sure. Kazzy(sp?) was fantastic and seemed to run a one-woman-show, greeting us at the door, seating us and taking care of us throughout the meal. There was a wait but they make it enjoyable with a shared liquor license with the bar next door so you can pass the time with a pre-dinner cocktail and not have to rush when you’re paged. Lovely desserts too! The pear bread pudding was just what we needed to venture back into the cold. Very reasonably priced

We have been here multiple time and happy hour is usually great. This last visit the hosts tried to talk us our of staying. When we called her out on her behavior she suddenly became nice and we got a table. The sushi is good the service leave a lot to improve on.

I eat here every time I visit Summit County. It is a family favorite! The service is always wonderful and friendly. The sushi is so delicious every time! I would highly recommend the Jalapeño shooters, the Madison, and the spicy tuna roll are alway favorites. Enjoyable drink menu and very good deserts. This is alway a very good over all meal. Although is can be pricy. The price is worth it! Happy hour form 4 – 6 cuts down that price by a lot but the price is worth the food!

Simply the best sushi I have ever eaten. The Curtis C is the best. Great service. Our second time here.

Love it. Came with a huge group and ordered almost everything on the menu. Delicious. Service was great and they accommodated all of our kids really well. Great sushi for land locked Colorado.

The best sushi in the state of Colorado. The fish incredibly fresh, the sushi unique and delicious, plus the service is equally outstanding. I take all visitors to this place and they all agree that the sushi is par to none in Colorado.

2.5 stars to be fair. Up until this second visit, I thought of this place as a decent sushi joint for Frisco. After this visit, my mind is not only changed but also blown. Sat at the sushi bar and witnessed something that blew my mind. Yeah, I am picky and also cook quite a bit but the«sushi chef» was taking a handful of rice out of the pressure cooker and placing a pile in front of him, after picking out a small batch and forming the nigiri rice … whatever was left over was scooped back into the cooker. I mean really? Wheat school of cooking did this guy go to. Bizarre. Also, his knife skills were really odd for a professional chef. The rice itself was quite mediocre(much worse than last visit) and the fish was very thinly cut and not the best of quality. Outside of that it’s a decent place for a small mountain town but we won’t be coming back as there are better options in Breck. The hostess however was top notch and did a great job making us feel welcome even though there was a 30+ minute wait and was perfect in keeping the drinks flowing and being again, very attentive throughout dinner.

Great happy hour specials 4−6pm. Fresh fish. Beautifully presented. The spicy tuna rolls are the spiciest I’ve ever had. But oh so addictive. I’d go back tomorrow and eat them again. Small place. Maybe 10 – 12 seats at sushi bar and 5 – 64 top tables. Servers friendly and efficient. Sushi chefs work quickly and beautifully. Oh and they even have gluten free Tamari! Bonus points.

The only complaint I have is that it isn’t open for lunch. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Best sushi in the area hands down. I only gave four stars because it is a little pricey and not open till 4pm. Otherwise the perfect dining experience with knowledgeable, attentive and polite employees. Will highly recommend and will definitely return.

I have had the privilege of eating sushi in many places, and this one didn’t disappoint. While we were in town during off-season, we were seated right away at the height of what would be dinner rush. The drinks were plentiful, the food was prompt and delicious. There are lots of creative rolls on the menu and the prices were fair for summit county. As is always the case in summit county, service is an issue. It doesn’t matter where you go, when you go, it’s slow and apathetic and generally sub-par. We were treated to much better than average. I think that had more to do with the fact it was a slower night as well as the fact this restaurant is kinda small. No chance for any kitchen to get horribly overwhelmed here. When I’m back in town I will consider Kemosabe for a dinner out as, relative to most places in the area, it exceeded my(relatively low) expectations.

Presentation was beautiful. Food was good but wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had. We went for happy hour and the prices were great.

We grabbed happy hour. The sushi is good. If you like spicy tuna rolls but you are kind of a whimp when it comes to spicy-ness, I’d recommend to opt-out of the spicy tuna. Its super spicy but the best spicy tuna I’ve ever had. A tip I have is to come right when they open, and only go in small groups. The restaurant only has roughly 10 tables and a bar(correct me if I’m wrong). They also have a backroom where you can sit cross legged on the floor!

I came here on a random Tuesday night while snowboarding in Copper Mountain for a few days. Keep in mind that this is the only sushi bar in Frisco and one of two or three for dozens of miles in the middle of nowhere. You’ll need to call ahead at least 30 minutes. While the food was delicious the service left something to be desired. Even while sitting at the bar you order from one of only two servers who then relay your order tot he bar. Keep in mind the people working here are there to ski and board not to make your sushi. This shows in the service(2 stars) while the food is still quite good(4 stars). Try the yellow-tail shooters. It’s yellow-tail wrapped around fried asparagus in ponzu sauce served in a shot glass. Delicious !

Surprisingly good sushi for a mountain town! The jalepeño and asparagus poppers wrapped tuna were unique and delicious. The service was top notch and the vibe mellow. There were some unique rolls that were a little too ‘out there’ for my taste,(like the one drizzled in truffle butter), but others hit the mark perfectly. Most important for a sushi spot– the fish was fresh!
