FACIALREVIEW: 3 stars $ 30 holiday special facial I was excited when I got the email that my tanning salon was going to offer other salon services. I always look for a deal on a facial and think that $ 30 is a steal. I confirmed my booking with the owner and was told that it would be an hour service. I arrived about 5 minutes early and Jacquelyn was ready for me. The service was good. She was a bit chatty. It was very friendly, but sometimes I prefer to just relax. I didn’t say anything though and was happy to be chatty. The lighting needs fixed; she does not have a way to dim the lights in the room for the facials. The bed was a bit short(but I’m a bit tall). The service itself was well done, especially the extractions. She did not take the full hour, closer to 40 minutes, which is disappointing when you think you’re paying for an hour service. I was told this service is regularly $ 85 which is definitely overpriced for what I had, but $ 30 is reasonable. TANNINGSALON: 4 stars The Tanning is a great price, they have decent beds — not the latest and greatest but they are maintained and I have never had a wait more than 2 – 3 minutes. It’s location is tucked away off of Main/Preston in a run-down strip but they have really made some great renovations to the place and improved it since it was Palladium Tan when I first joined. The new owner, Rena, seems very nice and even opened up early for us one Saturday morning while she was there doing repair work(with the door open; I thought they were open but they were not). I believe she even changed her hours since she had a few other customers that morning before officially opening.
