Yesterday Brit from Beauty by Brit gave me the best haircut ever. She is always patient and friendly and yesterday was no exception. She is easy to book with and will even schedule your appointment through text. She is the only person I trust with my long, thick hair.

I started coming here only when Amanda Ward began working at this location. I’ve been going to her since she moved to Dallas and would never see another stylist again. I have some pretty wild request as I like to have fun with my hair, she has always delivered all while assuring I maintain my corporate image, which is important. Scheduling is a breeze, she keeps details on what we’ve done in the past to reference and is fun to hang out with while getting my hair done. I typically never chat with my stylists, but I always have a relaxing and enjoyable time. Honestly the best at what she does and I would be devastated if she ever quit doing it.
Oh, and the salon itself is very nice as well. Love the atmosphere, the dryers are great and beverages are always a plus!

Amanda has truly been a life saver. I had been driving 2 ½ hrs away to my hair stylist so trying to make appointments with my hectic schedule was difficult. I have tried for so long to find someone local that I could trust with my hair and not mess it up with no luck. I have had multiple bad experiences giving local stylists a chance. I was just about to give up and continue the long drive to my out of town hair stylists until I found Amanda. She is AMAZING! She is very professional and knows exactly what she is doing. She also makes me feel comfortable. Hands down I highly recommend Amanda at Salon M!!!

I went to Salon M 2 weeks ago to get a trim, and low lights and since I haven’t ever colored my hair so close to the roots I made sure to show Amanda some pictures of highlights that I liked. She responded by showing me pictures of celebrities whose hair was covered in highlights. I told her I’m not interested in that because I just want to add some color for dimension and to try out some highlights for the first time. She agreed and came back with the color and foils and started coloring. She did tell me that there won’t be a huge change in my hair since she’s doing subtle highlights and I was ok with that.
Needless to say my hair looks the same!!! Exact same as I came in and I was there for almost 2 hours. The salon is sort of dark inside so I couldn’t see the highlights well but she assured me she could definitely tell the difference. After I paid she even went outside with me and told me it looks good. She lied.
And wouldn’t redo my hair even though I agreed to give her another tip to do it. She said she would do it if I pretty much paid the same price again. I didn’t go back…
I don’t like that she kept making suggestions about my hair such as about my layers, or highlights… I just wish she would have done what I asked… :/

It’s convenient, modern, busy, noisy… And chock full of stylists doing what they LOVE. It shows! Thank you to Deanna who listened to me but utilized her professional training and personal creativity to help me look my best with new color, new cut, and a new understanding of how I can feel more like myself while sporting a look that can be either smooth and polished or wacky and fun.
And she never nicked my ears or let water run down my neck. Wooo hoo!

I have been going to Tammy for years and years — She always gives me ideas on what to do with my hair — she is up on the latest trends on color and cuts and I trust her 100% when it comes to everything with my hair. love love love her!

I met Pam today for a haircut. She gave me exactly the style haircut I wanted. I could not be happier with the results. I appreciate her personality too, she is sweet, kind and listens to what you want. I highly recommend Salon M and Pam.

I went to Amanda at Salon M and used a Groupon. The salon has an impressive retail section at the front with an array of hair products from brands like Pureology and Bumble & Bumble. I liked the genuinely nice and friendly receptionist. This is a busy salon. The atmosphere is not as laid back and relaxing as I like. Stylists’ chairs were very close together and it seemed very crowded. Amanda did a great job on my hair. She looked at the pictures I brought, asked questions, and the results were exactly what I wanted. I guess I just wanted to feel more relaxed and it just wasn’t happening at this particular salon. Amanda and some of the other stylists were doubled up on clients, which I’m really not a fan of. She colored another client’s hair while I was under the dryer, and although I wasn’t left waiting, I just prefer more personal attention. Amanda was really nice and professional, though, and I have to give her props for the super job she did on my hair.

I visited Sam today for a makeup application and hair style-​she is truly amazing. On top of the unparalleled client service, the makeup application was great. She used high quality products which perfectly matched my style and tastes, but the end result was something better than I imagined. I can’t wait to visit again for my next special occasion.

I was across the street and looking for a place to get a hair cut. Long story short, I walked in and Claudia was able to cut my hair. It was the best hair cut I have ever had; this is not an over exaggeration. I rarely write Unilocal reviews, but had to for this so that Claudia and Salon M get the recognition they deserve. I will be going back to Salon M and Claudia from here on out. Ask for Claudia; she is amazingly talented and one of the nicest women I have ever met. It was an all around great experience!

Vicky has great customer service. She is an expert stylist and always gives me great advice on my hair. I’m happy I found her and don’t plan on going to anyone else. I always feel very comfortable when I go to her.

I had a horrible experience today. I went to get my hair evened because is was sooooo uneven, and I told them cut straight across, and they didn’t listen, they cut it sooooo slanted. Hair stylist can’t go with their opinion, it’s what the customer wants, not the stylist. I’m never going to get my hair cut again.

I’ve been going to Shayna off and on for many years now. I moved away (the only reason I would see someone else), but I’ve never been as satisfied with my cut. I love every cut Shayna has given me. She listens to my questions and concerns, takes into account my styling habits and hair type/​growth, and cuts it. It’s always a great finished product. I’ve recommended her to any and everyone. :)

My hair stylist, Tammy Thompson is fabulous! The salon is modern, always clean, great magazine selection, Free Wifi and adult beverages (if needed!) Tammy does wonderful color. I have used her for over 2 years now & I always love her expert input & ideas! She’s top notch and always on trend & so is the salon!

I have been going to Salon M for almost three years now and love Tammy. She is so personable, fun and does a fantastic job! I have struggled for 8 years to find someone in Frisco who does good blonde highlights. I have been to about 7 others who just weren’t up to par. Tammy is the best when it comes to highlights. It’s is easy to get on her schedule with a weeks notice too which is awesome with my hectic schedule. Highly recommend her!!!

I loved my experience at Salon M. I got the best hair color EVER by Tammy. The salon was quiet and comfortable and my stylist offered me something to drink as we discussed my hair. I will definitely be using Tammy from now on!

I experienced the worst customer service. For charging $ 60+ for a cut, you would think their front receptionists would treat potential customers with better care. I confirmed an appointment this week only to be treated like an uneducated consumer and an inconvenience to the staff when I came in. I recommend taking your lovely locks elsewhere.

After much research I had to put my trust in «Salon M». I’m new to Texas and still finding «my favorites». I have curly hair and don’t trust just anyone in my hair. So I called to make an appt. Ms. Cynthia answered, she was very friendly and actually got me in on the same day. When I thought things couldn’t get any better Ms. Marsela, the owner, actually cut my hair. To me that says a lot, she’s hands on with her customers as well as running a business. I’m very pleased with the outcome and will come back to Salon M.

I went here for a hair cut today. My stylists name is Deanna Morrill.
She did a fabulous job. She wasn’t there to sell any products or treatments. I just need a trim and some face-​framing layers; and she did just that! She suggested the dry haircut, which was perfect because I do not like blow-​drying or being loaded with products. The salon itself is nice, clean. Will definitely go back for Deanna!

I’m from California and was visiting family in Texas. My sister and I decided to get our hair done in Texas and called several places. They were able to fit us in last minute and were the cheapest out on the market. My sister had Eric and I had Pam. They both did a great job coloring our hair, as well as my extensions! I would recommend to everyone! Great environment with fun people!
