Seven Eleven

Public bathrooms… but…public bathrooms.

I stopped here to grab a coffee and granola bar while my husband was next door getting some gear at the Colorado Electric Supply. Crazy long line of workers early on a Monday morning, but after over 10 minutes waiting, almost everyone in the line had walked out because the lone man operating the cash register could not complete a single transaction for some reason. The person in front of me just threw cash on the counter and left. I watched the cashier halfway ring up someone, then turn to the other register and starting ringing up someone else because he couldn’t get the card reader to work for the other person. I thought they were going to brawl. Everyone was pissed. Luckily I had a few bills and a bunch of change to pay so I stayed in line. I needed caffeine that bad, apparently. They don’t have a functioning french vanilla button on their «cappucino» machine, which, if I’m in a 7 – 11 for some godawful reason, I am damn sure getting some crappy fake french vanilla sugar coffee water! Another strike. Sooo many other convenience stores that are better than this one.

Whoa, stopped here for some gas on my way back to Denvy and the gas was like $ 3.20, 20 cents cheaper than most other stations nearby. Even cheaper than the gas downtown. Nuts.
