Yes, it is true they are slow but they make the best gluten free build your own sandwich I’ve ever had! The dank.

Stopped in here on my way East from Grand Junction to Denver. Staff was ok just not too friendly and the service was ok. Sandwich was pretty delicious. I opted for the smaller size and it was still filling enough. Definitley worth stopping in here if you are in town. Just don’t expect too many smiles

The food is fine but the cashier is probably stoned out of his gourd. They need to hire someone else to run the cash register. They also got 2 of our 4 orders wrong. We ate here on the way to Denver and we wanted to go to Subway but the line was too crowded. Subway would have been faster!

Walked in while waiting to order you can see the cook. Touching food with gloved hands, but then predeceased to wipe them on the pants, play with hair, and scratch his back side — we left without ordering.

After waiting for over a half hour my mother told the man behind the counter that it had been that long. To that he replied«I don’t think that is true» and our meal was missing two kids drinks and one kid sweet. He did throw a cookie in last min when he could see our frustration.(which I suppose made up for the missing cookie!) and we just noticed the cookie is totally burned on the bottom!

Great spot for lunch. Friendly staff is always welcoming. They love to know where you’re coming from to join them. I stop by every trip I make from to the mountains from Texas!

Very friendly staff. I had a breakfast sandwich and it was good. The coffee was also good! I recommend this if you like subway breakfast; it’s a step up for the same price. I expected more of a café atmosphere but I liked it.

No customer service whatsoever, not even a greeting or thanks… plus, the food… did I eat there? Yeah, unfortunately I did based on a recommendation. It used to be good so I was told, but now… no thanks. Better service at Wendy’s or Taco Bell…

We travel to Dillon for work and anytime we are there we always hit up Smiling Moose. Hot Italian Sandwich is always my favorite. Be warned, the large sandwich is LARGE

Do yourself a favor and go next door to Food Hedz or Hacienda Real You will get your food quicker, it will be better, and the service will be better. Timed it. 23 minutes for a «large» sub that was $ 10. Manager oversaw my sandwich and her face was«meh» but served it anyway.

I hope the owners read this!!! Hours are supposedly 8:00am we waited outside until 8:20am and once we were able to get in we were told it would be another 20 – 30 minutes for bagels because they didn’t turn the oven on. Once we were able to place our order the young lady was not very nice.

I will never go here again. They are the most unhappy staff I ever met. The food is ok!

First off, I LOVE Smiling Moose Deli. Have always had great experiences there. This is the first time I’ve visited the one in Frisco and it was just a bit off. Had a sandwich on one day for lunch and it was okay although not as good as ones I’ve had at other locations. On our way out of town we stopped for breakfast and it was just not good. Had a breakfast burrito and it was bland, not well prepared and tasted like something from out of a freezer. Very disappointing.

I’ve heard good things about this place. Maybe I picked the wrong location on the wrong day, wrong time, etc… but I’m not impressed. My order(two sandwiches) took forever. Then my order was wrong. Then I had to wait 15 more minutes. Then the order was STILL wrong when they remade it. I will give them a star because, although slow(in the physical way, not the mental way?) the staff was very friendly and apologetic. I will give another star because they gave me two very good cookies for my troubles(and cookies are the way to my heart). Overall, I wouldn’t go back. It’s overpriced and takes forever. I should have just gone to Subway.

Breakfast Review: I see another post about out toasting a bagel. Let me tell you my story. My family and I were on our way to Breckenridge and stopped in for a quick bite. We ordered three toasted bagels. It took fifteen minutes, there were two other people in the place. During this time, I saw the guy making the bagels wander off several times. Once he went to the cash register, grabbed some money and walked to the back of the store — without removing or changing his gloves. And then when we finally got the bagels, we realized they had not been toasted. I watched them go through the toasting machine, but I guess that wasn’t working, nice catch bagel guy. Not going again.

Making a toasted bagel with cream cheese and honey is apparently similar to rocket science. It took 20 minutes for me to get my bagel; however, it was not toasted nor did it have honey. I asked the clerk behind the desk to which I was informed they were out of honey… although I was charged for it. I am not going to fight for $ 0.40 but I will say that the offer to refund was not made. Maybe the place in Silverthorne is better and has better service. Sadly I doubt it.

Perfect stop for roady food on the way back to I70 from Breck. New and clean inside, and the quality of the sammy-whiches is more than fine. You have to hunt for it a bit, it’s in a sleepy mini-mall.
