Delicious. The environment is peaceful and relaxing. The drinks are very good and the food is amazing. Make a reservation online and try the Crab Dip. You will not be disappointed. They even have a happy hour!

Great restaurant love the atmosphere. Food is delicious and Martini was wonderful. Staff very professional excellent customer service. Only negative they do not serve draft beer. Now that would take it over the top! Will definitely go back.

I didn’t like my experience here. My 14 year old daughter chose this restaurant for her birthday lunch. We came with my 2 sons ages 10 and 6. The service was not horrible but not great either. I felt like we got a weak welcome, seemed like we sat longer than we should have before getting out drink order. When our waiter came over we were already ready to order. I felt the menu was limited for those of us who are gluten free. There is no specific kids menu although our waiter have us a vague description of a couple things they can make for children which consisted of chicken tenders or Mac and cheese. After several more minutes our drinks came. The kids got Dr Pepper and something was wrong with it. When we finally asked about it, our waiter said something about it looking funny, yet, he still gave it to us. He replaced them pretty quick. After a pretty average wait, our food came. We ordered a pizza, the naked salad, and a pasta dish to share. None of it impressed any of us. It wasn’t bad but definitely disappointing. I had to ask for the check. Our meal totaled $ 68 w tip. I felt this was astronomical given it was lunch with average atmosphere, average service, and average meal. This is not the place for my family. I’m not going to be back.

This about the 4th time I’ve been here. The food is usually very good. Tonight it was just ok. My flat bread appetizers was excellent. But, my gf’s salad was drowned in salad dressing. I ordered Chicken Braciole it a bit too salty, but overall ok. That said, my server didn’t seem interested. By far, the worse service I had at the TruFire. I’ll be back, but it will be a while.

Decided to try TruFire(even traveling 2 hours to get there). I would say the food was adequate but for the price, I felt it should have been a little more savory and flavorful. We ordered the Latin Fire Pizza(along with a couple of appetizers). The steak pieces were sparse, the meager serving of jalapeño cream hardly gave any«bite» to the pizza and I’m pretty sure the caramelized onions were left off. I did try the pomegranate crush martini for $ 11(not $ 10 as the website states)…tasted like a sweet minty kool-aid slush. Wasn’t there suppose to be vodka added? Truly disappointing.

From out of town and with a larger group. Found the service to be OK with 19 of us ordering different foods. I ordered the falafel plate. The falafels were flat and crispy which is not the way I prefer them to be so 0 stars for that plate. The only reason give them a 3 is for the service yet the easiest plate came out 5 minutes after all the others.

What a beautiful place with delicious food! The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. The lighting was dimmed slightly and the jazz music was at the perfect volume to provide privacy for talking at our table without being overheard by other tables. The hummus and veggie appetizer was fresh and tasty. I had the sirloin sandwich with Caesar while my husband had the salad with figs and roasted pears and he added grilled chicken. He is a connoisseur of salads and felt this one was perhaps one of the best he had ever found. Our very picky boy felt the shoestring fries and cheese pizza were great. Our waiter was friendly with perfect suggestions to make our meal even better. The host advised us that as the evening went on having reservations would be wise. We were there around 2 on a Saturday, so we got lucky for immediate seating.

How did I miss this place? I’ve checked out several other restaurants and even the hair place on this shopping strip and somehow avoided TruFire all these years… I was pleasantly surprised! I love that the restaurant is a little dimmer so it feels intimate, but still fun. I got the Spicy Garlic Noodles, which came with loads of mushrooms, and also shrimp and chicken. Despite the hesitation of swapping out my pasta for 100% whole wheat pasta, it was a great choice and I didn’t feel like I missed regular pasta at all. The flavors of this dish were so yummy, especially since it was around $ 18. My husband enjoyed the meatball pasta dish, which they give you the option to add more sausage to for a small upcharge. One star off for our waitress. She was nice, but ridiculously slow. Even though our table hadn’t decided on our dishes yet, I almost didn’t want her to go away because 3 minutes of checking back on us really turned in 10.

Came here after trying the TruFire in Southlake. It was just as great as the other location! My boyfriend thought that feta on top of hummus was genius(like he couldn’t stop eating it). The fig salad was so good. It wasn’t drenched in dressing and had the right amount of pecans. My boyfriend said that the Kobe beef burger was cooked well and tender, but there was something missing in the seasoning. Guess for burgers we’ll stick with Haystacks in Richardson or Hopdoddy in Addison. Drinks are great and many ingredients are made in house. Still wish there was a location closer to the city center or in Addison. Like off of Beltline Rd. in Addison. They would fit perfectly in Village Parkway and be awesome! But if I’m headed to Ikea or really craving a fig salad, I’ll make the trip.

Another 5 star experience! So we went here Friday night with friends(group of 4 of us). I knew it would be crazy, so I made same day reservations which saved us the pain of waiting for a table. We got seated near a huge group of kids and asked to be moved, and the hostess kindly gave us a high top table(which my husband loves because he’s super tall). We were seated right next to the hostess stand which I thought would be annoying but didn’t end up bothering me at all. Chris was our server. He initially took quite a long time to get our drinks, but I’m not sure if that was the bar or him. I really wanted a hot tea since I couldn’t drink and they said they were completely out. He didn’t have any other suggestions for a virgin drink without a bazillion calories so I stuck with water. A couple minutes later, Chris comes back with tea from next door!!! MAJOR points — I really wanted it, so it immediately turned my mood around. We order naked avocado salads and two pizzas. After much debate on whether to do smalls/larges because some didn’t want to share and would rather have their own plate, Chris commented that he would do two larges and split the plates so everyone would have their own serving. Awesome — We ordered the rosemary chicken pizza but subbed flat iron steak instead of chicken and the latin fire pizza. Both were really good(warning that the rosemary pizza is super garlicky) but I just LOVE the naked avocado salad with it’s warm pita. However, note for salad lovers, there is not lettuce and the presentation is different than you expect. But in a way that your plate will be clean before it leaves the table. We had some pizza left over and Chris kindly brought over boxes and packaged it up at the table for us. Another awesome night at TruFire with again, another outstanding server who went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Thanks!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time and we were impressed with everything about this place. Wonderful atmosphere, very clean and excellent service. The menu was really varied with some difficult choices. I had the chicken sandwich, which sounds boring. The way they prepare it makes it extremely tasty. The fires coated wit parmesan cheese were outstanding. My wife had the clam chowder and the grilled artichoke. wow, both were excellent. We will certainly be back!

I love this place! If you’re looking for good food, yummy drinks and nice atmosphere without having to drive to Dallas, TruFire Kitchen is the place to go! They have a wide selection of wine and a diverse menu, contemporary American food! I definitely recommend the cheese plate and pasta dishes. My favorite pasta dish is the spicy garlic noodles. Great flavors and perfectly cooked! I love that they top it with arugula so it doesn’t taste too heavy. I would try to avoid the sandwiches. We got the chicken sandwich and the portion was huge but the meat and bread was a little too stiff and really hard to eat. On the plus side, they also have a gluten-free menu for those who are health-conscious! :) It was pretty busy during dinner time, but the service was always great. I heard they have good happy hour so I will have to come back and check it out. My favorite drink here is the Moscow Mule with blueberries! Yum.

Great food and drinks. I concur, the naked avocado is as delicious as everyone says. The pizza is also good. I’ve tried the ribeye sandwich for lunch and it was very flavorful. It’s not cheap but it’s not expensive. It’s the perfect place for a nice lunch or nice dinner without breaking the bank. Convenient location off the tollway. Last couple times I’ve been our bartender was Michael and he took great care of us and made some awesome drinks. Both times I’ve been on a Friday night it was busy but we somehow managed to find seats at the bar. At nighttime, it is dimly lit and romantic.

Have been here a couple of times, had a variety of dishes and must say this is a great place to come to. All the dishes are consistently good ranging from the pizzas, the garlic pasta, apps and a great happy hour selection of drinks that is priced very well! Always had good service, it has been always prompt and very friendly! No dishes necessarily stand out, but give it a try! Never left disappointed…

This was our first time here and I would say it was pretty good… I wasn’t amazed though. Our server was good and nice. She was quick to refill our drinks and ask if we needed anything else. I got the Akaushi burger, my boyfriend got the breakfast tacos(we went for brunch), and we had the crab dip appetizer. My burger was great and I got a side Caesar salad with it that was really good also. His tacos were really good and there was A LOT of food so neither of us could finish. We ate the crab dip first and I wasn’t super impressed. It was very oily and mostly cheese. There was some avocado but it didn’t taste like there was much crab. We sat on the patio and, even though the food was good, I think this was the BEST part of our dining experience. They had fans with misters! It was SOO hot and the patio was so cool and comfortable. It was awesome!

We are here 1 – 2 times a month and seldom have been disappointed. The Hummus is the best I’ve ever had. Today was the Avocado Salad shared as apptzr(a personal favorite) and the seared ahi salad… a first for me and very good! Server– we’ve had really good luck with the wait staff here… all are friendly and know the menu well. Brett was our guy today and did a great job.
