Fishful Thinking

Took the private charter — 6 guys — 2 visiting from out of state and the UK. We had a blast — very rough out there. 2 guys got sick — but the others had a blast. The crew was super nice, capt. was really cool. WE= Drank a lot of brews and enjoyed the trip. First two hours were slow — only 1 bite — the capt. knew what he was doing = he said he would take us to shallower waters and trolled along weed lines — then bam! we started hitting the Mahi Mahi and 1 king. 4 total keepers, 1 tiny Bonita that made it a fun ending. A few got away. Sam was a great guy to work with to set it up all up.

was really disappointed this trip. i been on this boat several times. maybe it was the crew. One crew gave everyone a fishing pole except me and he goes to me, «Are you fishing»? When my pole got messed up he just said here use this one. and quickly left. They were not friendly, the boat stayed in one spot and never moved around. Maybe it just was a bad night for the crew.

My friends & I had a blast… well until they all got sea sick and left fishing solo! But besides that mate Shawn was beyond wonderful helping everyone, telling us what fishes we had caught and which one we can keep. The sun was blazing, we took the 8 am trip! Definitely more then we expected! Hope to be back soon!

Had an awesome time on the boat! Capt. Ryan and Firstmate Pete eere great! Got us on fish from the start! My Boss has never been fishin in his life and we booked the next nights trip right there at the dock! He is now a fisherman! They have exceeded our expectations! Great trip and next time in town I will diffently go out again with this crew!

Nothing but positive experience… if you go to their website they currently have summer deal prices.
To start with they put your safety first, meaning if the weather is not good they will reschedule by contacting you over the phone and via email to ensure that you reschedule.
Once we were on board, captain and mate made sure everyone was ok throughout our trip.

I wish there were more people like Jim in this world.
Jim made sure to always keep your rod with bait and there was no wait and Jim was always happy to helping us as we are no pro at fishing .
Overall people on board went home with some nice size fishes.

We probably went at a time when the fish weren’t biting but really I had fun even though few fish were really caught. What I didn’t like was that there was only one person doing all of the work for the whole boat; Frankie. He’s awesome. He’s a superstar, but he is still just one person. So, when all of our lines are caught it falls on superstar Frankie to get everyone set up again. This doesn’t really make for a lot of fishing time. I’ll go again if you hire more Frankies.

I had a great time. This was my first time fishing and it was a great experience. The captin and crew were great. Bill actually helped my friend reel in a Bonita. The Captin with will cut your fish anyway you would like all they request is a tip for the crew. Overall this was a great experience.

Very disappointing. We booked a trip for 12 people for Sunday. I called them in the morning to confirm the trip was still going on because it was windy. They told me that they had us reserved for yesterday and assumed we didn’t show up. I told him that no there must have been a mistake, because we told them Sunday. He said he would do his best to get us in. He said the ocean water was really rough, but they will probably still go out. When we got there they gave the option of going out in the rough waters or rescheduling. We ended up going out, but after an hour of being in the ocean they had to go back because so many people got sick. The staff on the boat advised us to call tomorrow to reschedule. When I called the next day they said that since they had us booked for Saturday and let us go out on Sunday that he isn’t going to let us reschedule. I don’t understand how they gave us the option to reschedule Sunday, but then when they messed up and took us out when they shouldn’t have, they don’t let is reschedule. I asked him to let me just have 5 people reschedule because they were really looking forward to fishing and he wouldn’t even do that!!! At the end of the day, I spent hundreds of dollars and NO ONE got to fish. Very rude and unacceptable.
