My wife and I have been boarding our dogs with Almost Home for many years now and have always been satisfied with the care our pets have received. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good kennel to board your pet.

I can’t say enough good about Almost Home Pet Resort. We have been using them for 9 years and are always satisfied. My dog even loves going to the kennel and digs at the door to go back. The owners treat the dogs like their own. In fact, once my dog had some tummy troubles while there. When we picked her up, they told us they had fed her some boiled beef and rice (just what we do per vet recommendations). They also do a wonderful job of grooming. Even if we don’t get our dog bathed, they will wipe her down so she smells fresh. I never worry once I drop my dog off there.

We have been using Almost Home Pet Resort for years, and I have never been so enthusiastic about another kennel or boarding facility. Almost Home is clean (and you can take a tour any time during office hours to see it), family-​run, and so accommodating. Patty, the owner, is friendly, very knowledgeable, and she gets to know the dogs. They always greet her with affection, and I knew I had found a keeper when my dogs were excited to arrive at the kennel, instead of tucking their tails to run! At Almost Home, they feed high-​quality food (mixed with cottage cheese if you’d like) and their prices are very reasonable. Patty and her sister live on the premises and check in on the dogs regularly. This is such an awesome kennel that, when my parents come to visit, they bring their dog here to board him because they prefer this kennel to any of those available in their city! My only complaint (if it can even be called that) is that they don’t take credit, so I have to remember to bring my checkbook along. A small price to pay for the awesome service and care that my animals receive. Highly recommended.
