AMC Fullerton 20 with Dine-in Theatres

I give this establishment 2.5 stars because it has big, plush recliners in its theaters that are pretty comfortable and relaxing to lounge on. The aisles were also wide enough so that my long-​legged (6’4) husband was able to stretch out his legs comfortably. The theater seemed fairly clean and the two staff members we interacted with seemed friendly.
What we didn’t like about this place was the food and service. We were shocked when we initially looked at the menu because everything on it was highly caloric. I believe the veggie sushi that I eventually got was 670 calories and my husbands southwest chicken bowl (tiny bowl) was 1000 calories, bleck.
The worst part of our experience was that my husband and I literally had to make 7 attempts to order food off the menu because we were told, each time we ordered, that what we wanted was no longer available. We were shocked that we were told our order was unavailable 7 different times! When they FINALLY had something we reluctantly chose off their limited menu, the food then took an hour to get to us. I ordered water and it took 30 minutes to get to me. When we got our food, we were extremely disappointed by how disgusting they were… not in the least tasty. My veggie sushi tasted like pure salt.
While we may return here to watch a movie (it is close to our home), we certainly will never order food from here again. It was a complete waste of money and calories eating here.

If you’re looking to WATCH a movie this theater is NOT for you. If you’re looking to have dinner while the movie plays in the background and you feel like you’re sitting in somebody’s living room while their kids run around and they’re screaming at them, yelling to each other or talking on the phone. Or be kicked or bumped while the employees take orders during the movie… you’re in the right place! The movie seems like just an inconvenience to everyone.
Came early to get a soda before the movie started. I was informed there was no concession stand and I would be served at my seat. My order was finally taken about 20 minutes after we had been sitting there (when the trailers had started) and then didn’t get it until good 45 minutes into the movie. By then I was dehydrated and pissed.
Loved the movie, annoyed by everything else. And if you could have anyone banned it would have been that family of 8 in the last row with no respect for anyone else there.

Great theatre!!! Also reservation is nice! You can even do it online and pick out your seats without worrying about waiting in line early. This place is comfortable and the chairs are cozy, so cozy I see people bringing blankets lol.
My girlfriend and attend here whenever we get the chance since its nearby and it’s a nice place. The dine is alright just everything can add up, but I mean the food is great. But I would recommend if you’re hungry and want a decent meal other than that it’s a nice place to go catch a flick

AMC Dine-​in theaters is a unique experience compared to the traditional theater experience. You have the option for reclining seats theater or the dine-​in theater. I’ve tried both and it’s been a pleasure each time. Prices are worth the experience also.
Both options are reserve only seating which is a nice feature. No worries about getting a good seat since you can choose the seats you want. Granted you reserve early enough on certain movies.
The reclining seat theater are very comfortable and roomy but no food service.
The dine-​in theater is a cool feature if you want food/​drink service. A nice premium to the price. The menu has good variety and the food is pretty tasty. I recommend coming early to place your order before the movie starts. There’ll be less interruption while the movie it playing. The servers have been friendly and fairly attentive.
I did signup for the Stubs program recently since this is one of the theaters I like to frequent. I’ve yet to experience the benefits and hope to follow up in the near future as I build up and use the rewards.
I recommend these AMC theaters if you want a different and enjoyable movie experience.
– On another note, there is also a bar in the lobby if you want come early and grab a drink before entering the theater. The standard concessions are also available. Can’t enjoy a movie with the ever popular popcorn and butter. :)

DINE-​IN THEATER with DRANKS? what’s not to like? I’m so glad there’s a dine-​in theater serving alcohol in the OC area now, because before this, I would have to go to Arclight which is a journey and not worth the drive. Get a Fandango account and buy/​reserve the tickets online so you don’t have to wait in line or show up early! There are two different theaters– one has the reclining seats but no dine-​in call button. The other theater has the dine-​in option but no reclining seats, but they’re still super comfortable. I noticed that the dine-​in option theaters gear toward newer/​popular movies. The food is overpriced, but there are a few different options that are pretty broad for a theater (sliders to vegan sushi… what) I wouldn’t really come here expecting 5-​star food though– come on it’s a theater

Growing up in Fullerton, I used to frequent AMC Fullerton until it became very old and rugged. After hearing they renovated in the recent years, I came here for a movie recently.
Upside: This is now one of the nicest theatres in the area. Dine-​in! and lounge-​like seating. Seats reserved in advance so don’t have to show up too early. Love the convenience; server will come right to you with the push of a button. Eat while you watch,
Downside: Though the seats are wide and cushion-​y, it is not all that comfy. It isn’t the type where you can recline fully (it only allows you to slighhhtly recline, which doesn’t enhance your comfort all that much). Also since it is dine-​in, there can be napkins/​food stuck between the seats… not pleasant. It can also be distracting with servers walking around during the movie.

Very comfortable place to see a movie.
They only have food and drink service at half of the theaters though.
The seats are reserved, so you at least get to pick where you want to sit.
All the seats are power lazy boy style.

I’m cheap when it comes to movies, I only go to the first showings or use the discount tickets from Costco cause I’m not paying over $ 10 for it! That being said, I do like to see the action movies on a big screen. We have been going to the usual place with the usual seats that maybe lean back a bit but are still lacking in general comfort… boy have I been missing out.
Fullerton has full on recliners and super wide rows so people dont bump you when they get up in the middle of the movie. The recliners are battery operated so no need to hurt yourself trying to recline. AND they will fully recline like you are going to sleep, all you need is a blanket and you are ready to go… YES next time I’m bringing a blanket because I almost froze to death last time.
The first showing is $ 5.99 with a $ 1.50 transaction fee if you reserve online… yes, I said reserve. You get to pick your seat and reserve it, no more standing in line and vying for the best seats, just click and pay. OR you can go to the theater and pay the $ 5.99 and pick your seats at that time… either way I am a fan!
I’d also tell you to pick about 3 to 4 rows back from the front, and right in the middle for the best viewing. If you get too far back, when you recline fully, the screen is not as comfortable to view… ALSO the recliners are sofa seating meaning two to a sofa which can be nice or weird if you don’t know the person you are sitting next to, your choice.

We went here tonight for a late screening of «The Man Who Knew Infinity» starring Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons. It is a great film based on the real life of Srinivasa Ramanujan, a self-​taught Indian mathematician with no formal education who eventually was invited to Trinity College at Cambridge University and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society.
The dining theater was the perfect place to see this film. The comfortable faux leather seats and great projection made the experience memorable.
We did not order food or drinks because we already had eaten, but we saw that you could summon a waiter or waitress to your seat just by pressing a button.
NOTE: If you use the automated kiosks to get your tickets, you will have to go to the kiosks in front of the NON-​DINING theater on the north side of the theater complex. The dining theater is on the south side.

We got there about 40 mins before our movie was going to start to have some drinks. There was very limited seating in the bar area. We stood up the whole time to order. The last 10 mins we were able to sit and ordered their parsley fries. They were not very hot and a little stale to me, but we were starving so we ate them and don’t want to send them back.
Their drinks aren’t too badly priced. Very good drinks all around.
We watched neighbors 2 on a double date with friends. We had to sit separately since there weren’t any chairs available when we bought tickets night before. They were one row below us.
I ordered nachos for the movie. About 30 mins in the I didn’t get them. I called them over and they would go check on it. They said they give my order to another table. My boyfriend was HANGRY at that point.
They brought my nachos out a total of 50 minutes after I ordered them. Then, they proceeded to give me sour patch kids to make up for the inconvenience. There was no discount off price or anything. I know why they did the gesture, but every restaurant takes at least a percentage off. Needless to say, we didn’t even finish the nachos. The cheese was a very plain, non flavorful type we didn’t like.
Best thing about this spot are the automatic reclining seats. We won’t be going out of our way to come back though

I called to ask if I may get a refund because I forgot that u had a class tonight so I wouldn’t make it to that big fat Greek wedding. The one over the phone told me I could get refund, no need to rush to get that done before the starting time of the movie or within an hour after the movie starts or…
I could go to ticket center and get it before they close at 11pm.
That’s a relief for a student like me who doesn’t make any income.

Wow AMC really stepped their game up. I’ve been coming to this theater since I was like 8 years old to watch my first Spider-​Man Movie with the OG Toby Maguire haha.
I love how you can reserve your seats ahead of time so you don’t have to worry or rush into the theater to find good seats. It’s now a Dine in theater just with a push of a button a server will come and take your order and bring you food. I’ve only had dessert from here so I’m not to sure how the food is but everything on the menu looked nice. You got a nice big comfortable chair that reclines, so you can just sit back and enjoy the film.

Lame. Bait and switch.
We went to see Captain America. Front row seats, but we didn’t mind because we really wanted to see the movie. There’s supposed to be refills on items you order with seat side service. We got the popcorn and soda, which didn’t arrive until well after the movie started — about half an hour after our order. That should have been our first clue for the lousy service to come. The service was important to me because I am mobility impaired. We paid extra for seats and service and got neither. The seats did not recline.
About an hour into the movie, we were out of popcorn and hit the button for more. My wife wanted more soda as well. Twenty minutes later with no service, I carefully pressed two buttons down and one up so that at least one would be showing service needed. Still nothing for another 45 minutes. I waved the popcorn container in the air when waiters came nearby and was ignored. I did everything but yell for service, as that would have been rude to other viewers. Finally the waiter came with our bill. My wife couldn’t be bothered with a soda refill at that point. They brought more popcorn but no butter. Anyway, it was 15 minutes before the end of the movie, who cares?
I don’t know if the lousy service was due to a bad waiter or lousy management. I don’t care. Next time I’m going anywhere else. Edwards Cinemas in Brea has better seating structure with the stadium seats, and Regal Cinemas in La Habra now has the bigger chairs. If I have to get up to get service at least I won’t be lied to at the other theaters since they do not promise seat side service, but at least I also won’t be charged extra for service I did not receive.

Dine-​in Theater. WHATS NOT TO LIKE?!
1. Restaurant & Bar: There’s a small bar and a couple tables for you to drink or eat before/​after the movie
2. Delivery Service: There’s a call button on every seat for delivery service. A waiter will come to your seat, take your order, and bring the food/​drinks right to your chair! Service is available anytime (even during the movie!)
**If you’re easily distracted you may not like the small light on your chair nor the waiter walking up and down the aisles. But typically in a normal theater people go in & out to use the restroom and to get food or refills anyway, so I think this is a better deal! What I appreciated most was asking the waiter to bring us water. (I was able to satisfy my thirst AND not have to miss any part of the movie!)

They messed up our tickets!
We ordered tickets online for the theater and dine-​in (with table service), but they gave us tickets for the theater only. We complained to staff and they apologized and asked us if we wanted to wait for a later show time for the dine-​in theater. No, thank you! We did not want to wait an hour. So, we stayed instead of getting our money back because we were on a double date.
The regular theater was good. The reclining chairs were very comfortable. For food, we had to order at the bar since there was no table service. The bartender (dude with the glasses) offered to take the food to us because the movie was about to begin He didn’t have to, but just the fact that he offered was great customer service. He also make really good drinks. Order the watermelon margarita!

When you want to watch the biggest fight between two superheroes, you want to watch it in GRAND style. When it comes to movies that are ONCE in a lifetime type experiences, you want to be part of the battle, not on the sidelines. In this case, you want to relax on these soft recliners and food brought to you. All is missing is the bathroom part for the next two-​three hours. Tonight is Date Night in the Cinema Suites with my fiancé at AMC Fullerton 20.
Located on the northwest corner of Orangethorpe Ave and Lemon St. at the furthest north of the plaza, you will find AMC Fullerton 20. Like the name says, it has 20 theatres or auditoriums. However, Auditorium 11 – 20 are the special theatres. These are full service theatres. What do you mean Full Service?! They serve food to your table! And you don’t even have to leave your chair. Ticket prices will vary on time/​season of the movies. My fiancé and I reserved for the 5:15pm Read 3D of the world’s finest «Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice». It was $ 17.98 per person. The best part of it was, you can select your seats before you arrive. They are reserved for you.
If you are an AMC Stubs Member, you can get rewards towards a future purchase. Our Auditorium for this evening’s showing is 20. We were given our Real 3D Glasses and walked in. This auditorium looks like it holds about 50 comfortable people. Each seat has a table/​menu, and lots of cup holders. Each seat is a electric recliner and bare use of your muscles is rarely required. Just push a button and your legs will love you even more. Actually, your stomach will too! When you want to call for your server, look to your left or right and you will see a call button for your server. The AMC Staff have little PDA’s that will call for them to service your needs.
The offerings range from bar drinks to quick bites to full dinners to desserts. You want sushi?! You got it! You want a burger? Ahem, you got it! You want Mac ‘n cheese?! Stop asking and order it already. Our host for the evening was Luis. An extremely great host who took care of us through the evening. My fiancé ordered a Sprite ($ 4.69) and I ordered a Shirley Temple ($ 4.69). You get unlimited refills for the evening. The menu has a wide variety to choose from. My fiancé was already hungry and the movie had not started, but the previews did. My fiancé ordered the Shrimp Platter ($ 16) Wait, Ryan, you didn’t mention they served seafood? Actually, I did, when I mentioned the sushi. I ordered a simple small Chopped Cobb Salad with no bacon ($ 8). For $ 4 more, you can order a larger one.
The utensils and condiments are right next to your call button. The utensils are covered nicely in their cloth. We knew this date night would be absolutely amazing. If you are coming in to the Cinema Suites and not ordering anything, you are crazy! You could’ve, at least, ordered something from the bar outside before coming in. The wait for the food was about 15 – 20 minutes, but time flies by real fast when you are watching the previews. If you order during the movie, your meal can take a little longer to take, but still not have the guilt of interrupting others viewing pleasure.
Another AMC host brought us our food, it could’ve been Luis since it was dark in there. Since the movie had started, I couldn’t tell you what the food looked like, but I know my fiancé was already digging into her food. My Chopped Cobb Salad was very delicious. It had grilled chicken with lettuce and juicy tomatoes covered in ranch dressing. It was as good as the restaurants that serve a Chopped Cobb Salad. It was filling for a small. With the movie, I enjoyed every scene with every bite. I have no idea what was in the Shrimp Platter, but I know my fiancé had it altered with many substitutions. Fried Shrimp and possibly french fries. I heard her squeeze the ketchup battle like a mad lady. With surround sound, I heard that ketchup bottle cry.
Throughout the evening, it was a great experience. Towards the end of the movie, you knew the bill was coming. However, this was an exciting time. You had a great movie, great food, and you hardly knew that there were other people in the theatre. If you wanted to watch a great movie with the greatest person in your lives, you have to watch it relaxed and with little interruption to the movie. My fiancé was a sport to have watched a two and a half hour movie without leaving. She even rested comfortably in the chair. There are more movies coming out and we are all excited to see, but if you find an AMC Theatre with Cinema Suites, you know you have to watch the movie in luxury or at least part of the action.

Man, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked into this theatre. As you approach the doors this is what greets you. I paused just long enough to snap this picture and think to myself: did seriously I just pay $ 12 to see a movie in tijuana?
In a grossed out and somewhat bewildered state I managed to pass through the doors and make my way to my auditorium I couldn’t help but noticed t. j 2.0 in the form of a filthy dirty floor. … please see accompanying photos.
The auditorium itself was quite nice and in good shape. Loved the fact that the aisles were very wide. The reclining seats were so roomy!

*Caveat* This review is from an old fart that goes for $ 6 Movie Tuesdays.
My first foray into fancy movie theatre-​going, watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens, AMC Fullerton 20 inhabits 2 buildings — Auditoriums 1 – 10 on the left & 11 – 20 (premium seating) on the right. Big fan of reserved seating! I reserved seat E5 a few days prior, which comes with a convenience fee, and I pulled up awaiting Disney’s & JJ Abrams’ interpretation of the Star Wars universe.
The lobby greets customers w/​MacGuffins Bar & Lounge for a pre-​movie tipple and/​or snack. The bartender was friendly and let me have a courtesy cup of soda water w/​lime. Perusing the menu, I spied a varied selection that differs from the typical burgers, nachos & fries, although those types of food are available, as well.
I was a little confused with online ordering, as I wanted a reclining seat but not waiter service. My usual movie-​going experience is sans food & drink. Well, at least sans food & drink I didn’t smuggle in ;p But, my seat was Fork & Screen seating w/​o reclining. The seat was padded & comfy, save for the non-​reclining part, which I would’ve liked. Even if it reclined just a little bit. The table was great to lay my sunglasses on and the dining accoutrement of utensils, ketchup, salt, pepper etc. are easily within reach. A button signals the waitstaff when needed.
One thing on my mind prior to seeing a movie here was if, while totally engaged in the movie, would the staff coming in & out, taking & giving out orders, totally take me out of the movie & be a buzzkill? And, I can honestly say it wasn’t that bad.
The subwoofers kick ass, with the pulsing vibrations going right through my body.
Parking is in a private lot, by Costco & other businesses.
Well, color me impressed! AMC Fullerton 20 was an overall great entertainment experience for a first timer such as I. Reserved seating is quite convenient, as I can jaunt in w/​o having to worry about grabbing a good seat. The waitstaff seemed to be quick with people’s food & didn’t bother me too much during the movie. I know next time to choose the 18 & over reclining seat theatres when I come back. Which will definitely be Captain America: Civil War. And, maybe Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Maybe… yup, a definite maybe.

This is a great alternative to the more luxurious theaters, such as iPic or Cinepolis. Ever since I went to my first leather reclining theater, the regular movie theater experience just isn’t the same. I don’t have to worry about scooting for people to walk past me or have that annoying kid kick my seat from behind.
I like that the seats are reserved. The theater is quite large but seats do sell out fast, so be sure to get them ahead of time. Prices are quite affordable and totally worth the extra few dollars for a reclining chair that extra room and comfort. The theater was also super clean, which is a huge plus!
My only complaint is that the screen wasn’t as large was I thought it would be.
I would definitely come back again.

20 minutes to get a waiter. Ordered the tots, boneless chicken (because they were out of everything else) 2 long islands and 2 ice waters. Took about an additional 20 minutes to get our waters, food came cold and in tiny portions. Cold cheese on tater tots is definitely not worth 12 dollars. Portions are small so I would recommend eating beforehand. Drinks are fair priced but by the time we got them the long Island was so watered down it didn’t even taste good. Don’t know if it was just a busy night but I was definitely hesitate about coming back here. Chairs don’t fully recline. I’ve been to cineopolis in San Diego and I can say the food quality (even for appetizers) and experience are phenomenally better there… the only thing this place has on cineopolis is that admission is significantly cheaper but I would guess that’s a tradeoff.

Came into the movies to watch Dead Pool with my husband and the only seats left to purchase were in the front row with all the disabled back row seats available. We asked if we can purchase a disabled seat and were denied because they were only for wheelchair bound customers. Which is totally understandable.
We went into the theatre and the movie had started already and the whole back row were occupied by non disabled customers with no wheel chairs near by.
We asked if we could sit on two of the back row seats instead of our front row seats, and the attendant said yes because the movie had already started and they weren’t sold.
Ten minutes into the movie two young guys (Costco Employees) very angrily moved us from the seats because they purchased those seats. They were in no way wheelchair bound.
We went to the ticket box and asked about it and the guy very nervously said that they sell the disabled tickets to non disabled customers if the movie already started. Ok we asked about that too but there was only 4 minutes until the movie was going to start so we were denied.
I would totally respect this policy if the seats were strictly enforced for disabled people only (like the ticket guy initially told us they were) But to sell them to non disabled people after the movie starts? That sounds illegal to me!
We spoke to a manager and it seems like they just want to make a profit. And the guy had zero regard for customer service.
I am very disappointed in the customer service that I received today. I have been an AMC fullerton customer for 20 plus years and to be disrespected by both the Costco employees and the manager was awful.
My husband and I both work long hours and never have time to go watch a movie, and the day we finally decide to watch one, it was turned sour by this incident and lack of policy enforcement. The only name I recall in this incident was Liam the ticket sales guy.

I see that I lot of people complain about the seats not reclining all the way, let me explain. If you go to a «Fork & Screen» showing your seats won’t fully recline and they will be a little smaller than the ones from a «Cinema Suites» showing. The food tray will also be smaller that a Cinema Suites one. Other than that, the food service and the server call button are exactly the same.
I went to a «Cinema Suites» showing and I got to say that the service was amazing. The servers that took care of us were so helpful, polite and fast. The seats are super comfy and they do fully recline. The seats come in pairs you don’t have to share your arm rest with the person next to you since there is so much space in between seats. No one is kicking your seat behind you because the suites are separated from one to the other. If you have long legs trust me you have enough room to stretch and relax. All in all Cinema Suites is the way to truly enjoy a movie.
I Highly recommend spending the extra bucks to reserve a Cinema Suite.

This is a good alternative for Cinepolis or any luxury cinema. We visited this place last weekend amd we are satisfied with the services and the ambiance of the theater. They offer good foods and one of the nice food we had there is their avocado crab sushi which only cost $ 8. They are huge and so yummy. We will definitely be back.

This was my first experience at a dine-​in theater. I enjoyed it very much!
The seats don’t recline, they do adjust for comfort though, and are very comfortable.
Ordering of all concession items, plus foods like appetizers, burgers, fries and milkshakes, is done directly from your seat. The items you order are delivered to you, and you can order throughout the movie!
The two things I would have liked to make this a 5 star rating: for my plate to be taken away: I ordered the house fries (so yummy) and when I finished, the garlic smell was distracting. Also, the light behind me next to the seat so you can more easily read your menu and see your meal doesn’t dim or allow you to turn it off. It was a bit distracting for me, as it reflected in my 3-​D glasses. If there were a way to turn it off, that would be perfect!

I was excited to finally come to this movie theater but OMG I will never come back. We went to watch Star Wars and bought our tickets ahead of time. The minute we walked into the theater, the chairs didn’t recline like how they show in the pictures. Then to top it off, there were kids in the theater that were screaming and yelling throughout the first half of the movie. People throughout the movie theater were saying shhhhhh so many times that it was distracting. The waiter/​waitresses never said anything to the mom who brought the loud kids and halfway through the movie a guy yelled «shut up already» and the mom FINALLY walked out with her kids.
Decided that we will NEVER come back to this theater.

My 2^nd visit here, wanted to catch more of Star Wars. The food has been consistently good, the beer is always cold! Yes the seats don’t go back to full horizontal position. Still comfy! They don’t have as many seat so the crowds aren’t as big as regular theaters.
In this night, this kid decided to bring her parents to the movies too. Clearly this little girl was well rested! She found every spot to hang on to, and talked as quietly as she could (insert sarcasm here…) she even got a couple people to join her! (Ok, they told her to shut up!)
So why the 5 stars, customer service! Working in the aviation industry in a customer service position, I appreciate when I get customer service. Especially when you don’t expect to get any. On our way out, we asked if there were any complaints, and we told him what happened. Apparently the kid and her parents were at the same country before us, so the manager was well aware her antics. We asked if we could come back and see it again, and lo and behold, he gave us two passes to come back! There are certain things out of your control, but it doesn’t cost much to make it right on the back end!

My first couple of visits to this new and improved AMC were great! I was impressed and even happier that the ticket pricing was not double the usual like in Marina Del Rey.
My last visit, however left much to be desired. To make a long story short, there is a lot of room to grow in the service department. I was served a salad with no dinnerware and after 25 minutes of waiting, I had to miss part of my movie to go find some. This was verryyyyy frustrating, and just the process of ordering and receiving drinks was a strain.
Maybe more staff is needed? Better training? I don’t know. I will give this AMC another shot but not without a slight hesitation…

Now that I spend most of my time in Los Angeles, I appreciate that AMC Fullerton provides usually a higher quality movie watching experience without costing an arm and a leg.
I used to come here back when it was your standard AMC theater. Nothing special. However, once it was upgraded to one of AMC’s Dine-​in Theaters, I am definitely a fan of this movie theater and would be willing to make the drive to watch a movie here!
There are several theaters here that do offer the dine in theater option which means you can press a button and order off their menu throughout the movie. It is a pretty cool if you are on a date, but otherwise, the food is pretty pricey and the waiters coming during the movie can be a little distracting in my experience. There are theaters that also do not have the dine-​in option which I prefer. If you order from the kiosk or order from the box office, they let you know what type of theater you are going into.
Other fancy bells and whistles this place has is the leather reclining seats and the reserved seating. These seats are pretty legit and again, depending on the theater, the size of the seats can vary to super comfortable to just comfortable.
Unfortunately, there is no choice in the matter of what your movie theater will be. In my experience, it is not just the time you go, but also the theater you get that has some effect on the cost of your ticket. Therefore, if you are flexible on time, I would recommend that you look at the different times to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck. Note that if you reserve online they do charge a convenience fee but is definitely worth it for those popular movies and you don’t have time to wait early to request the ticket.
The parking is a big problem, but this is no fault of the establishment. Being in a plaza with a Costco and other major restaurants/​retailers may mean you will be fighting for spots from families who have not found parking in the designated Costco parking area.
Overall, AMC is a great theater especially if you choose not to order food!

AMC 20 in Fullerton is one upscale theater. I got tickets for dine-​in side. Basically, you enter the theater and you could order food and beverages from your seat at the push of a button!
When getting your ticket, you get to pick your seats. The seats are made of a comfortable leather and they recline as well. They are basically come in pairs, so it’s easy for couples.
I really like this setup and the AMC in Fullerton will probably be my go-​to theater from now on.

Movie, food and booze??? Yes please!!!
Came here on a Tuesday night and had a really great experience. Loved the concept of watching a movie on a comfortable reclining chair with swinging table and eat real food and have adult beverages.
It’s $ 14 per person (not including food) which is a good price. Menu is basic and affordable. They have burgers $ 12, fries, salad bowls $ 12, mac and cheese $ 12, chicken basket $ 16, and even California rolls $ 8.
We had the BIG BITE SAMPLER $ 12 to share. Came with 4 pieces of boneless chicken wings, pretzel bites, 3 mini biscuits and loaded tater tots with 3 dipping sauces on the side. Most likely frozen, but pretty dang tasty and it came out hot! Order drinks from the menu or go to the bar in the lobby and ask the bartender to make whatever drink you like.
I would’ve given it 5 stars if they accepted AMC gift cards online when making a reservation. Luckily there were good seats left when we went in person to buy tickets. Also, they were understaffed. I felt bad for the 2 girls serving everyone at the same time, going up and down the steps.
TIP: Order your food and drinks early before the movie begin so you won’t disturb other people.
Will be back again for another date night!

Talk about what renovation can do! This theater did a wonder by taking the time and money to reinvent itself into one of the most luxurious theaters in Orange County.
The exterior is a mirage, still sticking with the worn down entrance and crowded parking area shared with Costco that makes this place look like a dump. It isn’t until you fight past the awful drivers in the parking lot and the ticket booth that you see the true beauty: the interior.
AMC Fullerton 20’s interior is exquisite! It mixes the old Hollywood styling and atmosphere once common in every theater during the Golden Age of Hollywood and then blended with the modernization of 21^st century technology. There is a bar in the lobby for those looking to enhance their movie experience with libations. There is food service for you if you’d like it to be brought to you in the theater. Even the concession stand boasts a better array of food.
But what’s truly amazing is the recliner seats in the smaller seating theaters. It feels as though these specific theaters have only about 20 rows of seating but all the seats are leather recliners with automatic control. The space for your legs is vast, allowing full reclining for even those above 6 feet tall. You could easily fall asleep in these chairs which for some movies might be a blessing.
I’m a huge fan of theaters and if there was a way you could do a year long subscription and watch unlimited amounts of movies I would buy into it. But even more so, I would choose this AMC theater because of all the amenities and the feeling that this is the way movie going should be.

Went here tonight to check out the AMC Dine in Theater. The theater was clean, restrooms were dirty and drinks are a little pricey.
Pros:
–theres a bar in the lobby with a couple of table to sit and have a couple of drinks before you watch your movie.
–staff was helpful and polite.
–clean theater.
–security hanging around parking lot checking on cars.
–food was actually pretty good (had the chicken quesadilla)
–Beers on draft (16oz glass only) or bottles.
–Ticket admission was normal theater price (no additional cost for reclining seats).
–limited seat for cozy atmosphere.
–reserved seating
Cons:
–alcohol way over priced (I paid $ 20 for a 16oz Bud light and a cheap fruity mix drink).
–tallest glass of beer is 16oz for $ 7 dollers (for $ 7 dollers a minimum of a 24oz beer should of been provided).
–food is over priced for the portion.
–seats do not recline all the way back.
–not as much leg room.
–restroom are very dirty. Urine all around the urinals. Not enough trash cans in restroom (**advice for management**place trash cans near restroom door so patrons can throw there paper towels in before existing, instead of on the floor). Also mens and womens restrooms are located on opposite sides of the theater from each other. So if you are watching a movie in Theater 20 and you need to use the mens restroom, you have to walk all the way on the other side of the theater to use the facilities (not good if you had a few beers in you and you need to go).
Overall this is a nice place for a day out with your better half or with the whole family. Its better then other regular theathers because of the choices on the menu. Its nice to watch a movie and not only have popcorn but have hot wings or a burger and a beer to chase it down. I have been to other theaters that have these features, for example IPIX in Pasadena is way nicer place for an intimate date with someone special. The seats there are way more comfortable and the bar/​restaurant are way classier but you are paying a little more for hidden treasure feeling.
I think ill go back but im not gonna go out my way for it. I rather go to Montebello AMC because they have the same chairs and theres an Applebee’s next door with good food as well and cheaper drinks.

The first time I came here I expected a lot more. We aren’t allowed into the theatre until 15 minutes before the show starts because they are cleaning, understandable. The second you sit down even if you know what you want to order and you push your server button the servers will NOT come until the film starts. Not the credits the actually movie. This was upsetting because I wanted to snack and eat a little and have a drink before the film started and I didn’t want to be interrupted during the movie.
The second time around coming here we showed up early and went straight to the bar. The bartenders are extremely nice and funny, helpful and knowledgable. We had a few drinks and eat some delicious sushi. We then ordered drinks and popcorn to go because we knew the servers for the theatre wouldn’t be of any help. We sat, enjoyed our film and noticed every sever came when the film started once again to everyone who had there light on. This is distracting and I think the servers should be available as soon as the theatre is opened to us the public.

I have never been at a dine-​in theater before, this is was my first experience and i have to say that it was the best ever.
It is such a bummer that we do no have them as much, so my commute was a bit long but it was totally worth it.
Also, this dine-​in is much less expensive (movie tickets) than the marina del rey for some reason.
Anyways,
when arriving we go their early, so we decided to sit near the bar to order food and drinks.
the server came immediately to make suggestions about the food and the drinks, which were amazing by the way, we decided to get our drinks first and then order once we were seated.
The drinks had such a nice flavor, i am a fruity drink gal.
The time came where we had to go inside, which it did not matter because we got to select our seating before.
Once we were seated, the reclining chair made all the difference, they were so comfortable.
There is a button on the side of you, which you push so the server can come and get your order, the server was very helpful and courteous.
When our food came, it was delicious.
the price for everything was amazing, its a deal, you are getting comfortable seating, food and drink service, while watching an awesome movie? Can I say Amen to that?

This is my first time to a dine-​in and recliner seating theater and my experience was excellent! I went with my siblings and when we tried to sit in our reserved seats, there were people already people seated. We spoke to a manager named Nelly and she explained that there was an issue with the online ticketing system and it was overbooked. She quickly offered solutions and to compensate us for the unsatisfactory issue. She offered us to move to the next showing which was only an hour wait, refund us the cost of our tickets, free ticket vouchers to a future showing and a free popcorn vouchers as well. The seating that they had available left were only for two people, so my party of four would have to be broken up. Nelly said that she would see if she could make some arrangements and move people around so that we could all sit together. Although it wasn’t a guarantee, she made it happen. She walked us in to the movie line and apologized again for the problem that we incurred. WOW! What excellent customer service. That is above and beyond what normally would have happened at any other theater. She made us feel the welcome and what it truly means to be appreciated as a valued customer. It’s people like her that we need more of in our businesses today.
The theater was very clean as well from the outside, inside and even the restrooms which can sometimes be a bit disgusting. Great job AMC for keeping up your standards! Again, much commendation given to Nelly for her excellent customer service. This is my new favorite theater I will frequent not only for the awesome recliner chairs and service, but for people like Nelly who truly care for the customers!

LOVE the newly redone AMC Fullerton 20. What a breath of fresh air this once worn down movie theater has become!
I came here for a 9:00 pm showing of the Minions, and noticed that this theater lets you reserve your seats like Gardenwalk and Arc Light, and its only $ 10.99 for adult admission. Wow, that’s a bargain considering the theaters in LA charged me almost $ 20.
Theater 9 is in the «old» classic side. Its totally redone and only has 5 rows of 16 seats, plus 1 row for the disabled. The capacity of that theater is only 92 people. The chairs recline like a Lazy Boy, and if you’re not careful, you can probably fall asleep during the movie. Apparently this side does not offer waiter service, but they do have a full bar.
The other «stadium» side supposedly has waiter service, where they bring you food to your seat, serves alcohol, and has gourmet food like burgers, chicken wings, pizza and such.
The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is upon walking into the theater 9, the lights were dim. I mean REALLY dim. In order to locate your seat, you had to use your cell phone to see the number. Someone must have dropped something before the movie, so the AMC staff had to turn on the house lights. Boy, that made such a difference! Why couldn’t they keep the house lights on, or make the theater a little brighter before the show? Makes no sense, not to mention its a safety issue.
Aside from the dim lights, I really enjoyed my movie experience, and love that its only $ 10.99 for my reserved seats. A total plus there. The 3D and the Real Experience are $ 14.99 and you can also reserve your seats.

Huge leather reclining seats!
That was what pulled me in to watching a movie at this theatre. Seats make a big difference!
Once we got to the ticket booth, the employee showed us a small LCD screen and asked us, «Do you want the front or the back?» I didn’t want either so I asked if they had any in the middle. She said it was available but I still had no idea which ones to pick. She told us whatever is green was available. That didn’t really help because everything was green but then I noticed that there were dark green which I figured that meant it was taken. So I made a random choice and said, «I’ll just get the D.» (Get your mind out of the gutter!) We ended up getting D7 and D8. And we used movie tickets that we purchased from Costco to pay.
The inside of the auditorium was rather clean. The alcoholic drinks are sold on the left side and the concession stand is right in the middle. The inside of the movie theatre was super clean too.
In the theatre, little did we know we ended up getting seats next to a super snuggly couple with their seats reclined all the way. See now the only flaw with choosing seats ahead of time is you don’t know what annoying people might be next to you.
Still, the seats were very comfortable. Firm and poofy if that makes sense. It’s also leather. I did play around with the seat buttons. The only way to get the footrest up is to recline it all the way. I chose not to recline my seats all the way because I honestly felt like that would make me sleep. And if you do decide to fully recline your seats, there’s still a lot of leg room if people need to pass by.
That experience was just the regular auditorium (not the dine-​in theatres section).
Let’s talk about the two different kinds of dine-​in auditoriums.
*Cinema Suites — The super fluffy leather seats recline all the way up to your liking at however much you push the button. You can also press the red button near your seat to request waiter service for ordering food or drinks. You have to be 18 or older to do cinema suites and they’ll ask you at the ticket stand. Apparently the cinema suites are only for adults. The seats were comfy and the movable tray was handy as I was able to lay the food and drinks on there. Also even with all that, there’s still so much foot room that anyone can pass by.
*Fork & Screen — The seats are much smaller than the regular auditorium and the cinema suites. They don’t recline all the way but are still very comfortable. The movable tray is attached to the seat. There’s not much foot room for people to pass by. Like the cinema suites, you have the option to press the red button next to your seat to call the waiter for food or drinks.
Depending on which showtime you get will determine if you get the regular theatre auditoriums (the seats are full-​recliner comfy leather seats!), the Fork & Screen (comfy recliners but you can’t recline them all the way), or the Cinema Suites (age-​restricted and full-​recliners).
Overall, it’s a nice theatre with comfortable seats! Will be back for more!

I am writing a review for their «fork and screen”/dine-in and movie experience. Overall, we have had a good experience with this theater, although there are some small improvements that they can make.
Staff: Their staff are all very friendly and accommodate to your every need. They always have a smile on their faces from the servers, the clean up crew, etc.
Prices: In comparison to other dine-​in movies, this theater is pretty cheap. For the «fork and screen» option, the price is only $ 11. Most other places are at least $ 20 or more. The price for the food however can be a little steep. For two people, drinks and an entrée roughly costs $ 30-​$ 40 plus tax. With the movie tickets, you are looking at $ 50 – 60 for two people.
Food: There’s a good variety in the food options, but they are a hit or miss. Their burgers we’re okay last time I went, a little bit on the dry side. This latest experience, I really enjoyed their carne asada tacos. Fountain drinks are also free refill so that’s a plus.
Improvements: Maybe it’s a personal preference, but I would prefer to have the seats recline a little bit more or at least where I can raise the foot up a bit higher. Also, their wait time on refills can take a little long. Granted they have a number of customers, it seems like they have a number of staff that should be able to accommodate customers needs faster.
Overall, the staff and the actual movie experience make this theater. The food is decent, but having a dine in option definitely makes it convenient. There’s also an option for alcoholic beverages for those looking for it. There are minor improvements, mostly my personal preferences that can be made, but I do recommend this theater for others to try!

Awesome upgrade to a old theater that was over do for a makeover. This used to be our go to theater, then we stopped coming for years. We come back snd Baaaaam its brand new. Well not completely brand new, I guess some of the auditoriums have the older seats. But if your in a newer one, sit back on one of the couches and kick up your feet and try not to sleep. The arm rest goes up and the couches are seperated so no fighting with the stranger next to you for that arm rest.
Tickets are purchased online or at the counter and you pick your seats. If your like me, and your better half doesnt own a watch, dont worry your pre-​selected seat is safe. Unless someone is sitting in it, then tell them to move it or lose it.
They have a bar, but if you have already been drinking they wont sell you anything. They do things differently here. This upset my friend who wanted to buy a beer to enjoy during the movie. I apologized for her, then later I told her why she couldn’t buy. She was still mad though.
For a theater, this one us pretty darn cool. I am a fan.
