If you are looking for a good dermatologist don’t go to Dr. Aston. His clinical skills are average at best. However, the kicker is his bedside manner. This man is extremely rude and irritable. Don’t even think about trying to express your own opinion or asking about different options with him.
Save yourself from a nightmare and go elsewhere. There are plenty of well mannered and skilled dermatologists in the area. I made the mistake of coming here because it was convenient despite the reviews.

Beautiful facility. Average service. He treated me for eczema and the steroid cream he gave me along with the reco to use Cerave. Problem I had with his office is that I stopped by for a follow up visit. It literally took 45 seconds. A week later I was charged my $ 35 co-​pay. Really???

I would not reccomend anyone to go to him. Not happy with the way my husband was treated by Dr. Aston. My husband has known him for years since he was little and I always heard how great he was. I was not impressed when I met him he is rude and does not care for his patients. There was a miscommunication between him and my husband. He didn’t apologize about the misccomunication just assumed my husband was wrong and when I said something to him about talking very rudely to my husband he was very rude to me. I do not like his attitude towards his patients. I would not reccomend anyone to him. I am in process trying to find someone else for my husband to go to now. I know he has years of experience but everyone makes mistakes and he for sure does not think he makes any. Think its time for him to retire. He clearly does not care about his patients or how he talks to people.

I went to Dr. Aston once because Dr. Sire’s office p*ssed me off royally. I went because of a mole that I thought needed to be removed. Dr. Aston was fine (not great) but impressed me when he told me that he never doubts a person’s instinct because a patient once told him to remove a mole and he kept insisting she was fine, don’t worry about it. He finally agreed to remove it and it was melanoma. So, that impressed me that he trusts his patients instinct and isn’t arrogant.
HOWEVER, I have a facial hair problem and when I asked him about it, he said, «Oh, just shave it.» He was serious! So, I saw his partner Dr. Baugh for quite awhile before switching to Kaiser.

After looking at Vita’s review, I decided to go see Dr. Edward because he was close to my workplace. Anyhow place was very nice and clean. Looks as recently renovated. Front receptionist was also very friendly. Nurse who came to get me was Okay. She didnt really seem to care. Receptionist cared about me as a patient more than her. So I felt as who cares as long as Dr. Edward cures me. He came in about 5 min after I went into the room. He seemed like a really nice guy but thats about it. He told me that I had Eczema. Thats about it. Didnt prescribed me anything again. Now its getting worse. I need to find someone who knows what they are doing. Im so frustrated!!!
Went online and found Dermarest Eczema Medicated Lotion. Purchsed it from Walgreen and eczema was cured in 2 days!!! I cant believe I took Dr. Aston’s advice to just put lotion on my eczema. I was suffering for 2 weeks!!! I will be sure to try over the counter medicine before going to see any Dermatologists and waste my $$.

Dr. Aston is a very good doctor! I found him on my insurance website (Blue shield). He has many years of experience and he is extremely knowledgeable. I seen him for my acne and a scar. My face looks great. It is completely clear and my scar is almost gone. The office is very modern and very clean. The equipment is very new. They always have samples of everything they recommend using (face soap, lotion, sun screen, medication, etc.). I am very satisfied with Dr. Aston and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
