This place is unreliable. First visit there owner was almost an hour late and today they are closed when it states they should be open. I drove half an hour to get there and they are closed. I don’t like shops that I have to always call because they don’t stay true to their hours posted. Well guess I am never coming here again and will just have to order my clay online because I can’t waste my time like this.

You don’t have to be an expert to recognize an expert. Cindy definitely is. Took the Metal Clay foundation class — takes all day but well worth the time and I think it is a bargain for the instruction and hands on experience I received. Cindy is an energetic and passionate artist who packs the day with theory, technique, and practical tips. You walk away from that day with silver jewelry that you made and everyone in the class I was in made something beautiful. Many more classes are available if you get the bug. Highly recommended.

After taking several classes here and making frequent supply purchases I am finally getting around to writing a review! For several years I had been purchasing charms to incorporate into beaded jewelry projects, looking to take my creativity to a higher level I searched for a place to learn new skills, happily I found Cindy Pankopf’s Creative Place! Cindy and her team have helped me to develop new skills and encouraged my creativity! Always willing and available to assist me during my shopping trips, Cindy’s knowledge and expertise have proven invaluable! Excited by the added value that handcrafted elements have brought to my designs, I opened my etsy shop CharmingLittleLotus. I continue to frequent Cindy Pankopf’s Creative Place for all of my supply needs and to increase my jewelry making skills. All skill levels are fully included in her process and attended to accordingly so no one feels left out or left behind. I would highly recommend taking any of her classes, as a fun«friends» day or for more advanced crafters and jewelry makers!

My husband and I wanted to take this class and when we first called to do so, it was full. But sure enough they added another class and we were able to get in and learn the fine art of Metal Clay! And now we are ready and raring to go! We did have such a nice time taking Cindy’s class and she was so patient and she explained everything so nicely. We are so excited to make more things! I definitely recommend this wonderful place where creativity flows!

I had finally pushed myself to take a jewelry making class, and Cindy’s foundation class for working with metal clay was the first one to pop up in Unilocal’s search. There’s a grand reason why it popped up on top because this class was amazing! It did seem a bit rushed at times, but I feel like it’s because there was so much to fit in the time frame of a one day class(10am-5pm). From my 20oz of silver Art Clay that was included in the separate materials fee($ 60), I was able to crank out 4 good sized/detailed pendants for a first timer(photos have been uploaded for reference). I had a small amount of the clay leftover due to the timing of everything and trying to get my other pendants brushed and shined up, but it was able to save and store for a later use. Cindy was very informative and helpful. She was very capable of running the class smoothly so that everyone was on the same page. There was information provided for possible future projects and classes that really got the class and myself pumped up and eager to learn more. When making reservations for a class, be very sure that you do it early because it was a pretty packed class today and she only has room for 8 students before having to waitlist others. There is a 1 hour lunch break around 12:45pm. She gives you the option of leaving the premises or hanging out, so plan your meal accordingly. I am giving this place a 4 ½ mentally, but since there is no such thing on Unilocal,I am rounding up. The rushed feeling at times seemed to radiate a little bit of irritation from Cindy, but it’s understandable when you have an amount of people who have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of what they are doing. Other than that, it’s an amazing experience and class if you would like to learn about the basics of metal clay, and it calms down a bit more after we learn to fire our projects. I highly recommend it.

What a great place! We are very lucky to have one of the seven national Master Teachers in Metal Art Clay right here in Orange County. The studio has amazing classes. You leave with a professional level piece of jewelry. Cindy’s teaching is very detailed including step by step handouts. She sells tool kits with everything you need and lots of accessories for you to add on at a great price. They are very helpful and supportive and you always feel welcome. One of the best classes I have ever taken and I have taken a lot!

What an exceptional place to relax, learn and create! Cindy Pankopf’s Creative Place in Fullerton, California is an amazing find and if you’ve ever wanted to take a class to learn how to make jewlery — you really need to stop and check this place out. She teaches many different forms of jewelry making techniques but learning to make just about anything your imagine can lead you to, working with fine silver(not sterling — fine silver) Art Clay Silver is AMAZING. You don’t have to invest in major equiptment like you would if you wanted to make something from sterling silver. Art Clay Silver is like putty that can be formed into shapes and fired. The end result is your own amazing creation made in fine silver(even copper if you wish). She has amazing kits she’s personally designed for bead work. You won’t be dissapointed — only amazed at how easy the process works. She’s a great teacher and I’ve really enjoyed all of my classes and the end results — JEWELRY. She has a range of classes and even a basic class for those who want to just check-it-out. Sign up for a class and take a friend spending a day making jewelry! It’s a wonderful place.
