Dr. Diaz and his team are simply amazing. My husband and I tried having children for years. We even sought the help of another Infertility doctor with negative results. A friend of mine suggested the WCFC. He and his wife had two successful IVF procedures and encouraged me and my husband to give them a call. It was the best call we’ve ever made. Fast forward three years later, thanks to Dr Diaz and his team, my husband and I are the proud parents of two healthy boys! Nico is 3 and Trevor is 5 months old. I’m so grateful to have had met the nice people at the WCFC!

Dr. Diaz and his wonderful staff became like family to us. During the personal struggle and journey of infertility it was comforting to have support. Dr. Diaz and his wonderful nurses always took the time to explain everything until they knew you understood, then were only a call away when you need clarification. Dr. Diaz was always honest about expectations and gave us the best avenue for success. We are happy to say we are expecting our bundle of joy this fall! We look forward to returning to West Coast Fertility in the future!

Dr. Diaz told me and my husband to get a sperm donor or adopt. He knew nothing about men issues but talked as if he was an expert. I am happy to say we did not listen to him and I am now pregnant with our 3rd child!

I have been working with Dr. Diaz and his office since 2007. I have been very pleased with the care, patience, and attention I received. In 2007 I had some of my eggs frozen there and when I couldn’t afford the extra dosage of medicine I needed, they found donors for me for it. When I screwed up the protocol on my own by injecting the wrong medicine before my retrieval, their thorough protocol caught it, saving me from having wasted my money and my round of eggs. I was very dismayed later when I met with doctors on the East Coast in 2010(after moving there) who termed egg freezing far out or avantguard. I had called West Coast Fertility’s clinic in a panic at that time and they talked me through it all… they have been superior in terms of service and working with me. I have stayed with them now long enough for their technology to catch up and for five more of my eggs to be matured in their labs. This was my Christmas gift of news last year. I have also stayed with them long enough for the practice of egg freezing to have gotten removed from the experimental list as a medical procedure. After three very early term miscarriages in the last year trying to have a baby on our own, I am now ready to try using the frozen eggs. I was very grateful when I learned that the mock trial they did with me earlier this year is not something all fertility doctors do. In my case, it revealed a protein problem, which we are now trying to fix with a new protocol for a mock trial. Without these mock trials, I would have wasted my two chances for pregnancy with my own eggs. They have been very easy to work with as I have to work with them remotely. I have been nothing if not pleased. I am very sorry for the women’s experience above in the other review, but felt I must counter it with my superior experience with them.

My husband and I met with Dr Diaz December 2009. We were his last appointment of the day. He sat with us for literally 2 ½ hours to tell us that I had Premature Ovarian Failure(POF) and experiencing«early menopause» at 31 years of age. He proceeded to «shoot down» any opportunity for hope(IVF, donor egg, etc.).I later found out his staff did not follow protocol, which is to take a urine sample for pregnancy regardless of what they«believe» to have ‘diagnosed’.My husband and I were, needless to say, absolutely devastated! This horrible news was given to us right before the holidays and we had to function as though everything was fine. On January 13, 2010,(1 month after our appointment with Dr. Diaz), I find out I AMPREGNANT!(I took 4 at home pregnancy tests because I could bot believe what I was seeing & then called my regular doctor who then ordered a blood test), Once confirmed, I come to find I am 11 weeks pregnant! I was already a little over a month pregnant when I visited with Dr. Diaz, in which they did a vaginal ultrasound, and the nurse practicioner made a comment about me not emptying my bladder all the way because of the black blob in the ultrasound… that wasn’t my bladder by the way… that was the gestational sack! Our baby girl’s expected arrival is less than 6 weeks away. When I called Dr. Diaz to inform him of their mistake/misdiagnosis, I got his voicemail. He left a message saying, «IF this is a healthy pregnancy and IF it goes to term, than this truly is a miracle». Why would you say something so hostile? No apology or admission that he and his staff did NOT follow protocol. I would recommend that you get a 2nd opinion no matter how knowledgable he seems to be and the awards he’s recieved. I wish I would have recieved a 2nd opinion before the holiday’s had approached. It would have made our holidays with our family so much more joyous! Needless to say, we are so excited to meet our little girl next month!
