I go to dtf with my friends all the time and idk why it took so long to write this review but here it is!
Out of all the bars we come here because of Kevin. He’s does such a great job regulating everything. If there’s any trouble I know I can count on him to have my back! Kevin doesn’t want anyone getting hurt so he protects us by throwing out those people who get too ratchet. Kevin really is doing such a great job! (: Keep up the good work!

Review based only on PM business: Located in the Downtown Fullerton District, Florentines offers free parking in the back or in nearby structures. They have several TV screens that air the current games and sometimes news. They offer a full bar, dance floor, live DJ and several bartenders.
The one thing that I found interesting about this bar is that there is a $ 15 minimum for card sales as well as an automatic 15% gratuity. Other than that, it’s a good place for party people between 21 – 30.

Something fishy is going on here.
Long line. $ 5 cover charge. High rate of patrons getting kicked out for no reason. Hmm…
We weren’t in violation of dress code as we paid to get in, but as soon as the money left our fingertips, give or take five minutes, my boyfriend was suddenly in violation and got kicked out. Bouncers were extremely rude.
We came in a group of at least ten. If you kick one out, we all go. That’s room for at least another ten people for them to let in and charge $ 5 a person. Are you catching my drift? They made an easy $ 50 from us and then picked one person to kick out to make room for other another group of unsuspecting fools. We didnt even get a chance to order drinks.
We stood outside, baffled at the stupidity of their reasoning for kicking us out and watched as other people got kicked out for other stupid reasons. One guy was wearing his hat backwards. His group of friends was pretty pissed too.
Every other review talks about someone getting kicked out for no reason by rude bouncers. Let’s be real. They’re doing this ON PURPOSE. Its not a personal attack. Its greed. Kudos to the guy who figured out how to make money by kicking people out. Charge them $ 5 a person then kick out one and the whole group goes. Next victim please. Its genius. They must be making bank.
Needless to say, I will never return here, not even to try the food. Your greed has already left a bad taste in my mouth.

My friends and I have been to Florentines many many times and for some odd reason, the bartenders were adding on gratuity to ALL our tabs on 11÷25÷15. My boyfriend bought 2 drinks and they tacked on added gratuity. Ok?
I bought 3 shots and one mixed drink and they added on $ 5 tip themselves. What in the world. Isn’t added on gratuity only for large groups when DINING IN? Or when you do bottle service at CLUBS? Ridiculous. BEWARE! Warning everyone else so you don’t end up leaving tip twice unknowingly like i did! Due to many issues in the past of servers screwing up my tip amount, I ALWAYS leave cash tip but I still got bopped this night. AWESOME. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE LEAVING TIP&SIGNING
