Georgia Yeh Photography

Georgia is an exceptional photographer! It’s difficult to describe all her wonderful characteristics! She’s a warm, genuine person while simultaneously completes everything in a timely and professional manner. Her talent shines through her abililty to capture the beauty in everyone she photographs.
I did my engagement photos, bridal boudoir session, and wedding photos with Georgia and now all my friends are asking for her number! We couldn’t have picked a better photographer!

It was a surprise to have even met Georgia to begin with, but I’m so glad I did.
She was hired as a secret, undercover, ninja photographer for my fiancé’s surprise proposal to me at Disney’s California Adventure. Maybe because I was lost in the moment, but I didn’t even notice anyone snapping shots anywhere with a big huge lens of hers. She played the ninja role quite well.
A few days later, the surprise photo documentary was revealed to me and in awe and shock and wonder, I was sent to meet this mystery photographer. Came into her studio and she made me feel right at home. We got to talking and it was as if we’d known each other for years. It was so awesome to connect with someone so easily.
The photos from the surprise proposal came out amazing and she captured his story so beautifully. It brought tears to everyone who saw the retelling of my fiancé’s surprise proposal in her photos. A lot of our friends commented that they felt moved, and choked up (some even cried), as if they were witnessing the proposal through Georgia’s photos.
We have since hired her for our traditional Vietnamese engagement ceremony, and she was amazing!!! The photos came out so beautiful and so emotionally touched with the grace of her compositions, everyone was in love with the story she told.
She’s not only professional, but she’s also personable. She really makes you feel comfortable and at ease, knowing that everything is going to be seen and recorded perfectly through her lens.

Working with Georgia was not only professional, but also FUN! She and her team put me at ease right away and made great suggestions throughout our photo shoot. In my case, we were working on a very tight timeline, and Georgia made sure I got the proofs right away. When I reviewed and signed-​off on them, she completed the entire project BEAUTIFULLY, on budget, and 1 full day before our agreed deadline. Words cannot express how amazing it was to work with Georgia! When my fiancé and I decided to forgo the big wedding with all our family and friends and instead hop a plane and escape to California to get married, the one thing I knew I didn’t want to compromise on was the photos. I wanted to make sure that even though it was a small and simple wedding with just our parents and siblings, we would have wonderful amazing memories of it captured.
Finding a photographer when you are all the way across the Pacific is difficult, but lucky, Unilocal did the work for us. I found Georgia Yeh through Unilocal and read some of her reviews. After visiting her website and looking at her photos I had a feeling she’d be ‘the one’.
After emailing her and realizing how nice she seemed (even through email you can just tell she’s just a genuine and good person), and then how quickly she responded, let me knew that she was not only a nice person but a good person to do business with. Any time I had a question, I knew she was just an email away, and that made everything so easy.
Georgia is super helpful, friendly, great at responding to emails, helpful in other areas — she gave us a list of places to eat and try while we were in town. AND, she Skyped with me so that I could see and talk to her face to face before the wedding.
When the day finally came for my wedding Georgia was there on time and our parents remarked on how amazing she was. How nice she was, how non-​intrusive she was. The photos weren’t forced and we didn’t feel held captive by a photographer nazi. No, we were in the hands of a friend. I truly feel that when you work with someone who makes it feel effortless, then it shows in the quality of the photos produced. We look happy… because we really really was! There was no stress, and being in the hands of a professional like Georgia is a big part of the reason we were so stress free.
Her photos captured the spirit of us and our family in a way I didn’t know possible. But when I look at the photos she has created, it takes me back to a moment and a feeling, it’s really wonderful when photos can transport back in time that way.
We love love loved working with Georgia. And we are over the moon with the photos we’ve received!
My husband and I already decided that whenever we have children, we’re flying to California and letting Georgia do the photos :)

I have had a Unilocal account for a while now but have never felt compelled to write a review until I came across Georgia Yeh Photography. Georgia shot my engagement photos with my fiancé and we could not have been happier with her. My fiancé and I are really are not the lovey dovey pda type and I am super spazzy and awkward so I was really really stressed out about taking these engagement photos. Georgia was very sweet to listen to all of my concerns and was quick to reassure me that she was going to let us set the tone and mood of the session.
On the day of the shoot she was on time, dressed professionally and just had an air about her that instantly set my fiancé and I at ease. She was completely focused on us and was very fun to work with. We felt so comfortable with her that after a while we even got a few lovey dovey pictures in. Georgia will definitely go the extra mile for a good shot even if it means climbing over benches or lying on the floor of UCLA’s Royce hall just to give a new dimension to a picture. We got the pictures soon after through an online gallery and we couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw it. They were AMAZING and so much more. We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Georgia definitely captured who we really are as a couple with lots of smiles and laughs. The bonus was she even managed to throw in a few shots where we looked like a bonafide couple in love instead of two goofballs. I’m sure those shots will make our parents very happy.

Georgia photographed my bridal shower earlier this year and we had an awesome experience with her. She was extremely responsive to questions and booking with her was painless and easy.
She arrived early and was so sweet to stay later than the contracted time to ensure no memories were missed. She dressed professionally and blended in with the guests.
I was able to view the photographs very quickly via an online gallery and the final files were delivered quicker than expected as well. The files came via usb flash drive in a beautiful personalized case.
The photographs themselves were lovely and everything I had hoped for. A good blend of photojournalism and some more artistic shots as well. We got a ton of great photos. I would definitely recommend working with Georgia.

Georgia suggested that we turn our engagement pictures into the guest sign in book for use at the wedding and it was the best idea! Many of our guests were from out of town and they were able to enjoy the pictures.

I have bought several groupon and living social vouchers from different photographers. By far Georgia Yeh is one of my favorite photographer. The 2 8X10 pictures we received and the 20 DVD pictures were a steal!
We were scheduled to take pics at the Park, but due to the rainy weather we opted for my home. Georgia showed up on time, very professional, and super patient. I have a rambunctious 4 year old and 8 month old triplet boys. She was able to take her time and managed taking beautiful traditional and candid shots that my husband and I absolutely love :) I was able to view the pictures online in a week and used them for my Christmas cards. I totally recommend Georgia for taking your family pictures.
Did I mentioned that she was even taking our pictures outside in the drizzling rain while we were under the covered arches in front of the house! What a trooper!

ON TIME
put us at ease. had a 2hr block of time devoted to us (we didn’t need that much time but the fact that i knew we had that much time REALLY helped me feel all relaxed –which makes for better pictures)

i take a LOT of pictures with my kiddos, from cutesy themed ones to simple family portraits and candids… and i have to say i REALLY like how these came out.

photography is pretty personal… and the mood and vibe can make or break a session (as i have discovered to my dismay!) the session we had with her was pleasant and pretty chill even though my kiddos were being total brats!

the feeling i was left with was that i really liked her style. i have a short list of go to photographers, and i think i just added her to my list! =)

i have worked with photographers who are «going thru something» and it shows in their work. i have worked with others who constantly reschedule you. i have worked with some photographers that cancel a shoot last minute or forgot…
this one has her stuff together. her only focus was us. which is exactly how a photographer is supposed to be. all in all, pleasant, got me to relax pretty much immediately, and was able to give me exactly what i was looking for in my photo session. i was looking for casual family shots, and there are some with my husband and daughter which i LOVE and even one of me and my guy being silly and trying to be romantic.
um… one thing me and hubby seriously never do is take pictures together prefessionally! Georgia is slick since we were just doing shots of everyone and she had us stop walking for a second and click click click… and when she told him to lean in and give me a kiss we were both like, say what? we don’t do things like this! and in PUBLIC! eek! and click click click…
we are a silly couple and she got that exact moment that pretty much sums up how me and my guy really are… and that was a nice bonus. =) i finally have a nice picture with me and my man where we actually look like a couple! ha! score~

We met Georgia at a park that was near our work. She was prompt and ready to work.
We took a lot of photos in one session. She is very easy to work with and she is also very patient with my two boys. We got the teaser photos on FB the very next day and we’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them. Within a couple of weeks, she e-​mailed us the edited photos. This was faster than what we have expected.
We love, love, love the photos.

Georgia was a pleasure to work with, arrived on time, and did a good job of interacting with the family, etc. The portraits were very nice — considering that we were shooting outside at early afternoon, with the sun high and blasting us. Her style of portrait is on the «high key» side. She made everyone comfortable and casual. She was able to get a lot of candid-​type shots (non staged) that were personal and lovely too.
It took a few weeks to get the proofs back, but we were very pleased with the result. I would definitely use her again. She performed well and met our expectations.

Georgia is all about excellence and perfection, her eye for detail is remarkable, we had such a fun time getting our pictures taken and we love each and every picture.

I know that there are A LOT of wedding photographers out there to choose from. But Georgia Yeh Photography is awesome! I admire her eye for photography. Georgia take photos that captures the moment with unique angles and perspective. The best part of her photos don’t look so posed because aims to document the fun, funny, and beautiful moments that your experiencing. She’ll help set ideas up and let you play with them. That really helps because I’m not really a photo kind of guy. Georgia came out to shoot our engagement banquet and tea ceremony. Georgia is a complete joy to work with. As a blogger, I’ve worked with several photographers before and there is no one that made me feel as comfortable as Georgia did. She’s done several of my shoots that have received many complements on. She’s does an excellent job catching the right angles and spectacular lighting.
We also worked on a DIY video for ABC Family’s show Jane by Design — which was such an amazing experience. Georgia was incredibly professional and creative — I gave her my rough ideas and she turned them into the most inspiring video that ended up being shared all over the blogosphere. I must say, Georgia was the most easy going, nice, fun and talented photographer i’ve worked with. She is very talented at what she does and is a very artistic girl. I am honestly a fan of Georgia Yeh, not only with her professional skill but her as a great person. No other photographer I’ve ever worked with has had the professionalism and great attitude along with incredibly adaptive talent as her. She is really sweet and easygoing to either have working for me or alongside me on projects.
I’m a filmmaker and she has shot behind the scenes still photography on many of my films now. She makes such documentary-​type subject matter look like such pieces of art that they compete or exceed the quality of images that we are filming! Makes us jealous sometimes, but seeing her skill pushes us filmmakers to be better at what we do.
She is also a force of her own in cinematography, and she adapts to shoot both photo and video for me with the same grace and creative skill. She’s one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen with either editing photos and videos too. I see that she takes great joy in her work and how excited she gets when she captures a perfect shot, or makes a great edit in the editing room. That is what we love about her and why we always have her coming back to our sets and photo/​cinema productions.
