Golfers Paradise

Great service. Chill environment and perfect to blow off steam on a Sunday morning not crowded at all and super helpful staff.

The only thing good about this range is they’re open late in the balls are relatively cheap. Other than that this place is a real rat hole. Unfriendly owner, the food I wouldn’t eat if you paid me due to the rat I saw on the kitchen floor while ordering a beer. It has to be one of the most unsanitary establishments in Fullerton. It smells like a sewer as well. The driving range itself is just so so. The owner seems to be too cheap to fix anything on the range.

Not sure what to make of this place. Decent layout, prices are probably right on. I don’t know if it is the drought that is affecting them, or lack of qualified landscape maintenance, or both. Each year, the course gets worse and worse, window service is not prepared. Are they trying to make this an Asian hangout? If so, they are losing customers… This place could be so much more, but it’s not…

Just meh. Not a big fan. But if you need a driving range for some practice, nothing wrong with it.

This place fits my needs just fine. They have some good prices for balls:
Small 75 balls — $ 8
M 105 — $ 9
L 150 — $ 11
Family 210 — $ 15
They also have a restaurant that serves different foods including Korean. We got the the dong katsu, soba nooles, and some chicken thing I can’t remember. They were all good like the kind you get at a boonsik (the partial menu Korean restaurants). There is a wine selection as well but we didn’t try any. There is indoor seating but the outdoor is larger. It had large TVs on the ceiling and heaters. There is a huge round seating thing with a fire pit looking thing. The facilities are well kept. It may not brand new but they made the necessary upgrades. The staff is friendly as well.
I’m not an avid golfer but I’ve been to several ranges and courses. For the price this place is solid.

Stumbled across Golfer’s Paradise while searching Unilocal to find a range I could take my GF/​newbie golfer to so she could hit her new clubs. Love this spot! Super friendly staff + food + beer and wine = #WIN in my book every time! And how can you beat 150 range balls for $ 11? The answer is you can’t!
The place was packed with everything from non-​golfing datenight couples out on the «18 hole putting course» (think semi-​serious putt-​putt on real grass sans windmills) to hardcore golf junkies (reads –ME) on the double decker driving range obsessing over their swingpath and lag to a few people attending their weekly lesson.
I will return to Golfer’s Paradise often, as it is everything a driving range should be plus enough more to make it have that something special that makes a business stand out from the crowd.
Kudos to Golfer’s Paradise owner for creating something unique in our sport by providing the avid golfer a place to grind out a bucket until almost midnight 6 days a week, and at the same time introduce non-​golfers to the joy of sending a ball across real grass with the satisfying tap of a rented putter.

I don’t write reviews very often, but wanted to add some updates:
— The golf simulator is no more. Apparently it was from overseas, and the parts to maintain the machine had become obsolete and/​or no longer available (according to the cashier).
— The putting course had many, many divots (which doesn’t make sense on a PUTTING course), and looked to be a little water logged.
— The ball dispenser at the furthest out stalls at the range only dispensed about 20 balls before running out, and it was the only dispenser within sight. Ended up just getting a refund and getting the hell out of there.
— The only rubber tees we saw in the stalls were the ones at the (seemed to be non-​operating) camera stalls. If they knowingly don’t provide tees, post a note at the cashier window. Pretty lame to lug all your clubs just to find out there’s no tees.
We were SO excited to use the simulator, driving range, putting course, then eating some KBBQ and enjoying some beer and soju, but all we ended up with is a lot of wasted gas. Bummer!

Thus, we are off to Golfer’s Paradise in Fullerton, CA. This course is a «Championship 18 Hole Putting Course» which is a morph between a real golf course «green» and a miniature golf course putting «green». They feature Korean cuisine and a beer garden.
Holes range from 43 feet to 117 feet. It still errs on the side of «miniature golf» with nearly impossible angles and being small in stature. However, it integrates «real golf course» hazards like water, rough and sand traps (bunkers). And yes, each of us found the sand trap on multiple occasions.

This place is pretty awesome but it’s a little tricky to find and easily missed if you’re not paying attention. They are open late and the balls are really cheap, 210 balls for $ 15. Came here on a whim with a couple of friends and we ALL sucked bad! I tried doing the Happy Gilmore approach to no avail. It looks so much easier on TV, it’s all good basketball is my sport of choice. If you don’t have a golf club, not to worry, they will lend you one if you give them an ID to hold onto. However, if you have your own I would highly recommend that you bring your own as the ones they lend you are not the greatest clubs. They do have a food court that you can order from but I did not try it. This place helped me relieve my stress but my fingers were pretty sore afterwards, you may want to bring a pair of gloves.

Never been to the driving range, never swung a golf club. Boy did i have a fun time since we did a boys night out. Went on a Friday night around 7 and lucky we came around that time. If we came a 30 mins later, it would of been packed. Think i just picked up a new hobby. Glad its local!

Very friendly staff, cheap, cheap, cheap rates. Open early morning to late night. This place is great for kids with their little ‘imaginary’ putting green course too!

Pros: $ 15 for 210 balls. Open till 11pm. No deposit (just your ID) to borrow clubs. MIrrors to practice your form.
Cons: Crowded late at night. Signs not clearly marked. (Was not sure there was a second side nor an upper level for the driving range). The green on the driving range wasn’t so green. No tees. Must purchase for a dollar. Mirrors in poor shape.
Overall: A-​OK.

Great place! Good parking, open till 11pm, big practice putting green, food, beer, enclosed patio, driving range, and the coolest 18 hole mini putting course only $ 7.
The 18 course is so fun there is no other place that my friends and I know of in O.C. that has a mini putting course like this. You can bring your beer on the course, and the guy usually lets us play a couple games.

Throwing balls onto the range might be Ryan’s preferred method. He will use a driver, but a ten foot drive appears to be as far as he cares to hit.
Golfers Paradise is a great place to chill, especially late at night.

One of my favorite things to do with my boyfriend is frequent this spot with our friends and play mini golf.

You can drink while you play with your friends
They have awesome smoothies!

I honestly dont know how this place got 3.5 stars.
Came here on a sunday night with a handful of other golfers at the range. Based on other Unilocal reviews i was assuming this place was one of the nicest and cleanest ranges around. Unfortunately i was wrong. The range was dirty with barely any grass (look at my picitures). This is probably one of the ugliest ranges ive been too and its very dim if your golfing at night. Decided to go upstairs and noticed you cant even use drivers up there!!! I dont know why? Anyways, the prices for the balls were cheap. i believe i paid $ 15 for 210 balls. Not a bad deal.
Halfway through hitting balls we all got pretty exhausted so i went down to the restaurant to order us some food and drinks. I was kinda shocked that they didnt sell any food on sundays but they did sell drinks. I ended up ordering 2 black teas and 1 thai tea. I originally thought it was a regular tea but ended up being a blended tea. During my time of ordering the guy helping me failed to tell me that he only had enough boba for 1 drink. I asked if i could get my money back to pay the difference of the boba that i wont be getting for the 2 other drinks but he tells me that the drinks are the same price with or without boba. So i told him to just split the boba for 1 into all 3 drinks. When i saw him making my drinks i noticed that they were all powder based drinks. It all tasted gross.
The only reason why i gave this place 2 stars is for the nice putting green they have. Its nicely kept and challenging enough to get a good game in. This is probably the only good thing they have going for them. I probably will never be back to this golf range again.

Open Late!!! A driving range open till midnight is pretty much one of the best things in Fullerton!
The lighting was pretty good, but as far as quality goes it was a bit suspect. The range is not maintained extremely well, even in the dark i knew the grass was a bit rough out there. Also the make you buy a tee if you want one… I didn’t know that till we walked to the farthest possible spot– that was a downer.
Also don’t put here… it was probably the worst green I’ve ever messed around on. It was like putting on a small forest.
But I still had a great time and plan to come back because its a decent range with great hours and lots of spots.

as someone who doesn’t know how to play golf, i found this place entertaining. my friends spent most of their time on the driving range, and i spent more of my time on the putting greens.
i paid about 15 bucks for the largest bucket. i believe $ 15 = 250 balls?
there are two different sections for the driving ranges, so i doubt you’ll have trouble finding a spot.
as for the putting greens, there are also 2 different sections to practice that hole in one. 1 of them is actually a 18 hole putting green. (think mini golf without the obstacles) and 1 just open putting area.
i’ll come back, since its relaxing to hit some balls and chilling on a beer.

You have to buy your own tees? The bucket prices are reasonable but the balls are super old, the field looks terrible and the mats are just horrible. Two pieces? Looks super dated to me. Go to the Rowland Heights Golf Center instead.
Oh yeah, you can’t even drive on the second floor. And the floor shakes when people walk by. Scary much?

My first impression was, «Here’s my Golfer’s Paradise confessional: the food is what drew me near.»
I’m not much of a golfer (yet). The first time here we went through a round of balls at the range and I already wanted to give up. Golf takes a lot of patience! I was like, alright, let’s release some stress and I just wanted to hit the ball really hard, but apparently that’s not the way it works.
After my frustration, we took a break aand refueled with some ddeokbokki (spicy Korean rice cake) and we were good to go. Happily, after some comfort food, the second round of balls was much better! Just one good shot gives me hope to keep practicing.
It’s a café, restaurant, driving range, putting area, and miniature golf course (not the cheesy-​kid kind, it’s more of an adult mini golf course). Totally a man’s paradise to escape from their wives.
The lasting impression? «Korean food, drinks, and desserts, a nice place to chill, and late hours… these are incentives enough for even a girl like me to pick up golfing!»
