Ran in for lunch today. Ordered a few sandwiches to go. Staff was super friendly! It was a great experience. We will back and dine-in next time. BLTA was yummy!

had the most magical experience here! my bf and I came in around noon on a monday, to soothe a weekend of debauchary lol. it was only us and another couple of girls but once they left we had the place to ourselves. just fyi there’s only like 5 parking spaces in the back but the plants and trees that surrounds the place makes it feel so serene. the ambiance was perfect, I absolutely loved their selection of indie rock. we ordered a tomato soup and blta sandwich along with an antiox smoothie. it was refreshing and delicious! definitely coming back :)

A lovely, unexpected gem with good food, excellent tea lattes, and a very friendly owner. It’s set in a little converted house and the food, though basic, is flavorful both for dinner and for lunch. A great place to bring your mother or your significant other for brunch.

Went to Greenhouse Café on a gloomy Saturday with a friend, her suggestion. I looked at the menu beforehand and was planning on getting the cobb salad. I changed my mind once I got there and went for the tuna melt, no avocado. The server and my friend gave me a hard time for not liking the green stuff. So he gave it to me on the side and I gave it to my friend. The tuna melt was delicious, it had a light thousand island dressing. It came with a thin slice of watermelon with a choice of potato chips or broccoli salad. I got the salad but didnt care for it. If I’m in the neighborhood, I would definitely come back. The food was fresh and the customer service was great. There seemed to be a lot of regulars, I love places like this.

STILLNOSTARS! That is so funny! Nobody was complaining about my dog. In fact, most people are surprised how she is well behaved and quite. Nobody was upset with us sitting outside for a time period where we were still in the process of ordering food for the day. 4 hours is quite the exaggeration. In fact we may have been there for 2 tops. We planned on ordering more before the actions of the person who came out all aggressive, in fact was doing more barking than my dog. In fact, my dog became somewhat concerned with the female’s behavior which I reassured my dog she was ok. I explained to the female that the sudden abruption during our quite time we were enjoying outside alarmed my service companion. At first the female with a coy attitude said because of my dog’s good behavior she would let her slide being there. It wasn’t until moments later when the female got all hostile! What is this nonsense about noise and trash cans??! Oh my goodness, what a lie! Hilarious! Ok folks, this comment to my review cracks me up! Please people do not think this is the place for you today!

I reeallllyyy wanted to like them, but I just couldn’t get over the poor customer service and the just-ok food. We walked in and the place wasn’t that busy. It took awhile for us to be seated and then we waited even more for menus. The servers just seemed to be standing there. After finally getting our food in, we were just hanging out and enjoying the cute décor. Then we noticed that other people were coming in, getting seated, ordering, and then getting their food before us. We didn’t order a lot, just two meals… so we asked when our food was coming out and was given a pretty short answer. I’ve worked in food service, so I understand that it might take awhile to make food sometimes, but there isn’t a need to be short or rude about us inquiring. I didn’t think we were rude in the way we asked too. Anyway, we finally get our food and it was just mediocre. It’s nothing that I would eat and go… «I need to come back and eat this again!» Or maybe the poor customer service tainted my impression of the meal. Who knows. I can see how it would be a nice place to come eat and study in the afternoon though.

One of the worst experiences ever! I ordered the mushroom Swiss and the portion was tiny! There were literally a few slices of mushrooms, few pieces of spinach leaves and a small glob of cheese. The country potatoes were a tiny portion, sad and stale tasting. The toast had no butter on the side, no jam or any condiments. Nine dollars later, I was still hungry! My instincts were telling me to run with such a horrible ordering experience. My friend was given a hard time because she was going to use a card to pay for her order and it wasn’t over $ 10. She was shy by 36 cents! She wouldn’t have minded paying an extra convenience fee or being charged another 36 cents to bump it up to $ 10 but the lady taking the order just sternly said no and gave her a bad attitude so I just put my friend’s order on my card. When it was my turn to order, I asked to switch out the bacon on the waffle platter for spinach and they said it would not be cooked in the scrambled eggs, it could only be raw on the side. I said their mushroom Swiss dish has spinach scrambled in it and she said that one has cooked spinach. I asked for my spinach to be cooked just like that dish and she said no, it would just be raw. She had a horrible attitude the entire time. I almost decided to walk away at that point but was dumb enough to go ahead and purchase the mushroom Swiss dish which had spinach cooked in it already. The dish tasted bland and the portion was small with very few mushrooms in a so called mushroom dish. The guy who brought out the dish just plopped down our food, didn’t even make eye contact or say a word, and had a horrible attitude as well. Overall a waste of money on this place and a huge disappointment. By the way I rarely post reviews and am very patient with most servers and most businesses. It’s been about 4 years since my last review so you know this place is awful if I take this much time out of my day to make a review. I just don’t want anyone else to have the same awful experience as we did.

A small café, in a big city. Its rustic ambiance offers a coziness not often found amidst traffic and crowds. The Chinese chicken salad looked and tasted fresh, while the tomato basil soup was smooth in texture, served warm.

The mocha late was disgusting, the people working looked shady and the only thing green about this company was the building. Why are they advertising for synthetic multivitamins on their coffee cup heat shields.

Probably my new favorite lunch spot in OC. Nice little sanctuary in a busy area. I sat on the outdoor patio area which was shaded by a nice tree and surrounded by flowers. Perfect place for the dogs and I to have some lunch. Had to order inside and then they brought the food out. I got the roast beef and Bree sandwich. When it came out I wasn’t super impressed by how it looked, but once I took the first bite — wow! So much flavor! The pesto was amazing and obviously house made, and the beef had a great flavor. It was perfectly sauced and not dry at all. The broccoli salad was also super yummy, just a tad sweet and not too heavy on the mayo sauce. I also got the greenhouse smoothie that was cool and fresh, but a little lacking in flavor for all the ingredients listed. Overall great experience.

Pressed for time due to the never ending demands of my job, I ran out for lunch and was recommended this café by my nail lady. First look, wow… it’s green, really green. Located on Euclid, half a block from Commonwealth, this little converted house is really hard to miss. Parking is not that easy, and entrance to parking is even worse, so be forworned. Wheelchair assessability in front, little covered patio area, lots of green foliage, nice. Inside, the café is tiny, but the food that comes out of here looks amazing!!! I ordered a roast beef and brie, it was delicious!!! Bread is fresh, roast beef is nice and tender, pesto spread is yummy!!! Lettuce was nice and crispy, definitely fresh produce used here. Their house broccoli salad is so good, left me wanting more. I am definitely going back, they have different salad, sandwich, and wrap combos that sound appetizing, but most of all, this place left me feeling good. Service was excellent! To-go order was ready in less than 7 minutes, that seals the deal for me!!! Try it, won’t disappoint!!!

Great food with a great atmosphere! Brought my parents here on a Saturday and was surprised by how nice this place it. It’s nestled behind a Carl’s Jr. sign but the outside looks just like a greenhouse so there’s no way you can miss it! There’s a small parking lot behind but if you have a larger car it might be harder to back out. My favorite part about this place would have to be the atmosphere. It’s kind of like going to have a meal at someone’s house — comfortable and cozy. I ordered the Asian chicken wrap and it came with the broccoli salad. We also ordered the Chinese Caesar wrap with the house salad and the Cobb salad with tomato soup. The food was very healthy and refreshing. My parents don’t usually enjoy eating anything because they like cooking but they actually really loved the food at this place! They have amazing salad dressing and the wraps weren’t dry as all. I would also recommend trying the cold brew with almond milk if you are a coffee drinker. Overall, I really liked this place and will definitely be back to study with friends!

I’ve got to say this is one of my favorite places to go for lunch in the area. The food is delicious– love the broccoli salad that comes on the side. All the smoothies are to die for(yes all– I have tried them all :)) And the people who work here(Brian and his wife I can’t remember her name) are super sweet and caring. Can’t say enough about this place! I will be back– they never disappoint.

I came here for breakfast with three other people on a Saturday. Take note that this place opens at 9AM! Not 8AM as stated on Unilocal. We arrived a little before 8:30 and called when we realized that they weren’t open. The man that I believe to be the owner or manager was nice enough to open the gate for us and serve us anyways. Onto the food, I ordered the Croquette Benedict and a hazelnut latte. The Benedict was delicious and let me just say, the hazelnut latte was one of the cutest lattes I’ve had! Our server was really nice and checked up on us. Two of my friends ordered strawberry lemonades and they give free refills! The server was even nice enough to offer them another strawberry lemonade in a to go cup. The only con is that it look a little while for the food to come out.

We stopped at the Greenhouse Café the other day for a quick lunch, and everything was REALLY yummy The tomato basis soup warmed my tummy and reminded me of the homemade soups my grandma used to make when I was a kid. I loved the chicken citrus wrap, and my boyfriend enjoyed the Brazilian steak sandwich. For the amount and quality of food and the very attentive service, this café definitely was worth the very reasonable prices. We definitely will return whenever we’re in the Fullerton area.

I met a friend for lunch here(his idea). I checked it out with the Unilocal peeps and was pretty excited to try it out. I ordered the Roast Beef and Brie sandwich. It was so very good. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients… a real treat! Also had the strawberry lemonade cuz you guys said to and it was really nice. Not too sweet and the fresh strawberries were sweet. My friend had a roast beef sandwich, he’s been eating here for 8 years. SO in conclusion GO cuz it’s so fresh and yummy.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - ESSENTIALTIPS&EXECUTIVESUMMARY: — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – # It’s literally a green house situated on Euclid Street next to the crazy fire chicken shop(El Pollo Loco). Drive into the vine archway and find a spot in their private lot. Sometimes, the lot is full so discretely make a right and park in the El Pollo Loco plaza. Shouldn’t be a problem. # Greenhouse Café features straightforward and fresh organic salads, sandwiches, and wraps along with coffee and tea drinks. This is one of the very few places in Fullerton that serves a healthy lunch at decent price. I usually swing by on a Monday after a weekend of unhealthy eating because I feel groggy and squeeze my flabby sides then say«oh dear». # When it’s not too busy, have chat with Brian, the owner, and Connor. They’re really pleasant people and their personalities give their café a calm vibe. # My absolute favorite thing to get here is the chicken club wrap because it tastes great and fills me up. It’s correctly portioned so you don’t overeat… just drink more water. Skip the chicken citrus wrap unless you enjoy eating Chinese chicken salads and savoring their tangy zest. # Your sandwiches and wraps come with a broccoli grape salad with light ranch dressing + orange or watermelon slice. The two sandwiches I like are the roast beef & brie and the avocado & brie if I get sandwiches. Otherwise, I default to the chicken club wrap. See my number of check-ins? I ordered the wrap maybe 30 times in a row. # I wouldn’t recommend doing the ½ combo of anything because it’s not enough food and you’ll get hungry later. ½ sandwich and soup. err I’d rather get a full sandwich and the small broccoli salad that comes with it. ½ salad and soup… are you a rabbit? # Their tomato basil soup is good. No qualms about getting that if you’re feeling soup. Other soup they make can sometimes be a bit watery, but tomato basil is always on point. # I understand other Unilocalers’ 3 star ratings because the food isn’t like super tasty and one-of-a-kind or anything. The food isn’t cutting edge so be realistic and don’t expect a potpourri shower of flavors in your mouth. They’re just sandwiches… done right in a clean, old-fashion. Most of the food is between 3 and 3.5 stars yet its the select dishes(like the club wrap), the cleanliness, healthiness, and peaceful charm of the guys working here that allows me to give this café a solid 4. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – MYEXPERIENCE: — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – The inside of the café is always shrouded in a cool shadow, restraining the sunlight from barging in and blinding your eyes. It makes you feel like you’re under the shade of multiple trees at a park minus the gimmicks of Rainforest café. I can totally picture myself reading a book here and enjoying a cup of coffee after the lunch crowd departs. I’ll do that sometime when I’m not working on the weekdays and can spare more than an hour. Usually it’s eat, sip, tip, and repeat all within 20 minutes. As much as I am a literary wordsmith, the cool shadow doesn’t slow me down that much and I’m back into the blinding sunlight.

Look for a green house with a cute wooden arch over a driveway to the right. The parking lot is quite small and filled up when I went during a weekday lunch. I ended up parking on a side street a block away and took a little stroll. I went with the half sandwich half salad combo and got the avocado brie sandwich and kale italian sausage soup. My friend got the turkey breast sandwich and a lemonade. The combo and the sandwich both include a side of broccoli salad and a thin slice of watermelon. The single servings of each component were cutely presented on the four corners of a square plate. The seemingly small portions were actually quite satisfying. The food was tasty(but not impressive) and felt clean and good for the body. The simplicity of the food makes me feel that it’s a bit overpriced. Service was friendly. And the small café gets a little loud when there’s too much conversations going on.

More and more I am loving the healthier options out there. I don’t feel like a brick or a slug and my body feels normal. I like the freshness in the foods at places like this. I had bookmarked this place a very long time ago and I would either think of coming on Sundays when it was closed, or we would forget to swing by as I did not pass it often. My husband finally had us come over for lunch. They offer a lot of sandwiches, soups, salads etc. They had one of my favorite specials out there, the half sandwich and half soup combo. A nice amount of each item and I am not stuffed to the brim, but satisfied. They also had one of my favorite sandwiches, the BLTA. They offered tomato basil soup that day. Perfect! Another option I almost went with and will have to in the future is the avocado and brie. These combos range from about $ 8.50-$ 9.50. My husband went with the steak sandwich. He let me have a taste and it had a lot of great flavor! For our drinks we ordered strawberry lemonade and raspberry lemonade. It was a little pricey, but at least it was fresh fruit and not packed with some kind of fake purée or jelly like option. It tasted very fresh and it came with refills. For your side options you get broccoli salad or chips, or sub for a house salad for $ 2 more. We both got the broccoli salad. It was pretty tasty and I would eat it again. You get a piece of fruit on the side as well. We were given a slice of watermelon. Although thin, it was good. They also have coffee options, but I had the lemonade instead. I will have to go back and try one. I loved that it was inside an actual house, and a bright green one at that. It was cute, quiet, homelike, and the food was healthy and tasty. The price seemed to hurt some($ 28 for two sandwiches(or half sandwich and soup) and two drinks) but it’s not more than a lot of other places out there. Service was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back. My wishes for close, quaint, and cute little yummy cafes or coffee shops very close to home continues.

My wife and I love this place. Great fresh clean food. Love the Turkey Sandwhich. Kinda like Earl’s with the cranberry and stuffing but this one is way better. I also love their Brazilian steak and Chicken Salad and Roast Beef and Brie are so good! Also the pita hummus I highly recommend. Very soft and warm. Tomato soup is also very delicious. Service is also good. Very nice little trendy spot. Will def be back.

My friend and I got the pink flower room all to ourselves when we came here for lunch, hehe! It was super cute and cozy. This whole«house» is super cute and decked out really nicely! We started off with their strawberry lemonade(yumm!), and both got their soup ‘n salad combo(broccoli cheddar!). It was tasty and refreshing. As for dessert, we had their crème brûlée-everything was great! Service was amazing, they really made an effort to chat with you and make you feel at home!

I was in Fullerton around lunch time and found many many good sandwich joints in the area according to Unilocal. After some random selection, I ended up in Greenhouse Café. The parking to the restaurant is in the back and parking lot can be easily missed. It’s OK if you missed the entry though, just go to the next parking lot and drive through the back side and you are still able to make it there without making a u turn on Euclid.(I learned it the hard way, as usual) The restaurant is cozy and you can smell the flowers as you enter the front door. It’s a really pretty little establishment. The service was fast and attentive. I felt very welcomed and happy to be there. The menu is short and sweet, not overwhelming at all. They also have a full menu on drinks which I didn’t try, but I can see people hanging out to spend the afternoon with a cup of coffee there. I ordered a ½ roast beef sandwich + small soup combo. Soup choices are tomato basil or soup of the day — kale and Italian sausage(my pick). You can also pick in between a side of broccoli salad or a bag of chips. The plate came with a slice of watermelon which was a surprise. All for $ 8.50, what a deal. The food itself was average but service and décor totally up sell the place. I would return if I just want to chill.

Orange County has a lot of great places to go and munch on. Greenhouse Café has made this list! This place is like a home that is painted green and off the main road of Euclid. Parking is in the back. Came in with my mom and she ordered the turkey sandwich with tomato basil soup, it also comes with a small side of broccoli. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with tomato basil soup and a cup of coffee. The coffee came up first and I liked the cup plus the coffee inside of it. After a few minutes our sandwiches came out as well and we both loved how fresh and tasty it was. Even though it is a half sandwich combo we still were super full after eating it and we are for sure coming back here. It’s nice and we both really enjoyed it!
