Patriot was selected by the restoration company recommended by my insurance company after an upstairs plumbing flood. The young man who came out to do the samples had not worked for them long enough to even have a business card, and had only been in the industry one and a half years. Be that as it may, they were very prompt about delivering the sample results by email within 8 hours or less. However, in one of the attachments they sent in that first email were pages from someone else’s report /​project — a completely different address. I replied immediately to that email notifying Patriot that they had delivered someone else’s documents attached to my own. I received no response the same day, but by that time it was in the evening.
Later the next business day, I received a second email from a different person within the lab, with attachments, which also had pages from someone else’s report /​project. I not only replied immediately to that person notifying them of the error, I also called and spoke to a manager. He of course apologized and said that he would make sure that this would never happen again, but of course did not offer any discount in the amount of money I paid them in cash because it was less than my deductible on my insurance. A third email was subsequently sent with all correct pages after my phone call to them.
The excuse was that it was a clerical error during scanning, but I consider it very unprofessional for a company, especially one dealing with insurance companies and the EPA, to allow such haphazard work to be disseminated to myself and other parties, not once, but twice! Not to even mention a violation of confidentiality. No excuse! Complete and total lack of professionalism.

Patriot was recommended to our HOA by our community manager at PowerStone Property Management. The two Patriot technicians, Juan and Mickey, were professional, informative and most courteous to our owners. When I called your office to ask a follow up question, Mickey called me back the same day. Juan and Mickey are 2 employees that well reflect Patriot’s caliber and quality.

We recently purchased a 1958 home that is a major fixer upper. We knew we had asbestos around our duct work, but didn’t realize the popcorn ceiling or the plaster walls could potentially have asbestos too. We started scrapping ceilings and sanding walls while living in the house. We started wondering about the air quality and the dangerous situation we could have created. Once the thoughts started, we began to panic. We tried calling several companies to come and do some testing, but were unable to get immediate help. Three out of four called could not come out within the week, and two of them said we could potentially have to throw away every porous material in the house. They explained the seriousness of the situation and then told me they could come in a week or so! We didn’t know if we should leave right away or wait until someone could come out, we were pretty worried. Patriot was referred by one of the abatement companies we called and they came out to Santa Clarita within 24 hours and guaranteed us results with in 4 to 6 hours. Ernest was the technician that came to collect the samples, he was friendly and reassuring. He left with samples at 3:00 PM and at 6:00 we received a call from the office saying we would have the results before 9:00 PM. The email came before 9:00 and all samples were free of asbestos. I can’t tell you the relief we felt. We are very grateful that Patriot acted so quickly and ended our panic. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Rude… a major lack of professionalism. The women who run the accounts payable dept lack the basic skills and understanding of dealing with people. I would not recommend this company or their affiliates. Instead of allowing my mortgage company to verify the work that they claimed they completed involving a mold inspection they hounded me for $ 395.00…they accused me of using insurance money for other purposes and refusing to pay them… they threatened to put a lean on my home and ruin my credit. My mortgage company still has not verified that they did in fact complete the inspection for which I was billed. They are not to be trusted and should be avoided at all costs

This company is one of the most professional and best company’s in there industry. We use them several times a month and would recommend them anytime.

One of the most unprofessional and difficult companies I have done business with. I manage properties so I interact with contractors and business owners on a very regular basis. Once they arrived at my home (I was there the entire time) they conducted their tests. I received the bill and discovered that they added 5 additional samples at $ 45 each. Not once did they consult me on this for authorization. Management did absolutely nothing to help me and refused to work with me. There are so many other companies out there that will treat you right. Do yourself the favor and avoid this company!
