Anyone who would rate Dr. Boucher under 5 stars is either reviewing the wrong doctor or hit the wrong buttons. I had been having problems with my foot and several other things. So I get in Cal State Fullerton and was told we get healthcare coverage.(havent had it since i was 20 so it was refreshing) I was expecting a dumpy place with doctors who can barely speak english. Then Richard comes in and says«hello, sorry I am late, I was at rowing practice» haha But in all seriousness, he is serious yet very funny. Knowledgeable and doesn’t «add-on» anything like you would get at a for profit doctor would. Overall 5 out of 5.

He is outstanding! I had an accident nearly 3 weeks ago at CSUF. I headed over to the Health Center, where triage alerted Dr. Boucher to my need of sutures. While I was on the table, getting stitched, he was kind and indulged in conversation. He’s very sarcastic and humorous. Though he injected some serum to numb the pain of the needle, when it didn’t appear to be fully taking away the sting, he was genuinely concerned for my comfort. When I had the stitches removed a few days ago, he joked that it’s people who heal well who make him look good. He’s very experienced and answered all of my questions with great detail and authority. Should you be a student at CSUF and you ever need stitches(hopefully not), DEFINITELY insist that he be your physician.
