Poor communication. I tried to book studio time via email. I received a response asking for more information on my project and they would quote me a package price. I replied with how many hours I was trying to book, and then no response. I emailed a week later to follow up and no response. I called them on the phone several times and no one picked up. I left a message and a week later still no response. I’ve worked with many recording studios in the last 15 years, and this is very unprofessional. I guess they don’t want any business.

I have recorded my first demo here. Very professional and fast sound engineers — no wasting of time on long sound checks. We recorded my vocals and live grand. By the way, not many studios have real grands. This one has — it’s in a separate room and the sound is amazing! Everything was done quick and professional. One of the best recordings done. I recently recorded and audio book at S1… Corey made the entire process easy and stress-​free. S1 is now my «go-​to» studio in Orange County. Corey is awesome and so are his rates! It’s centrally located and has lots of parking (unlike most studios in LA). He’s got the latest gear and, more importantly, the talent to make everything «come together». 5 Stars!

S1 features great rooms for recording and an outstanding selection of top quality recording gear and musical instruments. I brought a recent recording project to S1 specifically to work with Corey Gonzales. He knows how to get the best out of his room and equipment, and I don’t think there’s a better quality recording experience available in Orange County at their price point.
I’m excited to come back and try the new grand piano.
