I love Robin! Just started going to her, cause she is very close to my home, and I love how she keeps me blonde! She is the first hair dresser who was able to lift me to blonde without looking brassy, and when I leave it looks great! Definitely recommending her to everyone. I also love her spot at salon technique, such a. l nice, clean space… Def recommending her to everyone I know!

Robin has been my go to hair stylist for years and now that we have 2 daughters, I’m sure we’ll be seeing her more often. She’s simply the best! She always gets «the look» I’m going for and I always leave happy and refreshed!

So, I’m a short-​haired gal. I’ve had short hair for many years and done everything from a shaved head to a bob with straight-​across bangs. I’ve also gone through many different stylists and have gotten some good cuts and others that were, well, less than satisfying. Robin is the first stylist that I have found who cuts my hair consistently well. She’s very friendly and professional. Her cuts are modern and feminine with a touch of edge. I have recommended her to many of my friends and will continue to do so!

I can’t say enough good things about Robin! She has a gift for turning a weird description of what I want (I can’t articulate very well that I want to go darker but still seem blonde, maybe I get nervous!!!) into head-​turning color. Robin is amazing! It’s like she reads my mind and gives me the perfect cut every time! I recently moved to LA and tried finding another stylist closer to home, but they were all disappointing. So today I made the hour drive to visit Robin again and I’m so glad I did. She’s worth the drive! I highly recommend her.

Robin is a great person and also a great stylist. I do feel a little weird saying ‘stylist’ when I’m really just looking for a ‘haircut’ but I always come out looking so good I feel like I’m getting a lot more than I pay for!
As a person, Robin is friendly, listens to you, and makes good conversation. She gives me advice about life, about our businesses, my hair, and anything else. I would consider her a friend. I never could say that about anyone else who’s cut my hair.
As a stylist, she loves what she does and is great at it. I’ve never had anything less than more than I imagined getting a cut from Robin. When she washes my hair, she knows to give me a little extra scalp massage because she knows I love it. She takes a couple minutes at the end to use clay to form my hair just right. Best of all, her prices are very reasonable and she even gives a discount for follow-​on appointments.
Salon Technique itself is a really nice place. It’s modern, clean, and spacious. All the ladies are super friendly and attentive. I always feel great walking out of there after one of Robin’s cuts. I highly recommended men to get their hair cut by Robin at Salon Technique!

Robin is such a great stylist! She always makes me feel like a million bucks. And I trust her cuz she would never give me a cut that she doesn’t think would work for my face shape and body type, if that makes sense. She is truly a professional. She gives rewards for referrals, is super easy to talk to, and makes me laugh almost non-​stop. I really look forward to having my hair done by her. I’m so glad I finally found an Amazing Hairstylist! Robin is the first Hairstylist that actually listens to what I want and gives me a haircut that is even beyond my expectations. From my first haircut I had with her until now I have been very pleased each time. She is very good at what she does and you can tell she loves her craft. She is very personable, has a sweet personality and is easy to talk to. She has a good manner about her too, like when she does a clean up (shaving the edges of my neck), she will clean me up then shampoo my hair then come back and finish the rest of my haircut so I’m not all itchy when I leave. I have never had a Hairstylist think of this and in my opinion it is very thoughtful.
Robin is always accommodating my work schedule. She gives out her cell number so you can text her about appointments. I’ve never had a stylist do this!!! This is very convenient for me because I always forget to call and will think about it when I’m at work and I’ll be able to just text her. At times, she has even been able to fit me in for next day appointments.
Every time I have a picture to bring in, she always cuts my hair exactly the way I wanted. I can always make plans after hair appointments because I know that I won’t have to go back home and fix my hair, my hair will already be styled so well. She always leaves my hair looking amazing and I’m always bummed I can’t make my hair do what she can! LOL… She’s like the hair whisperer… seriously! My hair is always soft, smells great and looks amazing when she gets done with it. AND she even put my picture up on here. which is SO flattering and awesome! I have short hair and I love edgy hairstyles and Robin always gets exactly the look I’m trying to achieve. I feel comfortable putting my hair in her hands because she knows what she is doing. Even if I don’t have a clear idea what to do with my hair she will always talk me through different things we can do and I always love what she comes up with. I can trust her and that’s really important to me.
Not only is Robin awesome but the Salon she is at is pretty cool too! It’s very inviting and contemporary. The receptionist are always friendly. The place is always clean and I love the lime greeen accents! It’s right on the corner at Downtown Fullerton, so you can’t miss it.

Robin Araujo is the best! My daughter and I have been getting our hair cut/​colored with Robin for over a year and we love our hair every time. Robin is professional, sweet and easy to talk to. She makes herself available when I need an emergency color which is very much appreciated! Robin also styled our hair for a wedding and I must say– she made us look fabulous. I would highly recommend Robin if you are looking for a stylist. The Salon is nice, clean, and right in the middle of lots of lunch options.

Robin is great! Not only is she personable and sweet but her hair cutting skills are great too. Robin cuts both my and my husbands hair. I am trying to grow my hair out, so I usually just do a trim but Ive also had Robin cut me edgy slanted bangs to keep things fresh. She listens to what you are telling her that you want rather than trying to do what she wants. (some stylists dont listen well and therefore cut your hair the way THEY want to) Not Robin. She is great at men’s haircuts too. My husband always comes home looking well quaffed and super stylish. Her prices are in line with other stylists. Ive received discounts for referrals too. I highly recommend Robin to anyone looking to get a fashionable and well done haircut.

I moved to Orange County 12 years ago and yet I’ve continued to drive back to my hairdresser in North L.A. because I was so happy with the way she cut and styled my hair. However, driving over an hour each way every time I needed a haircut or color treatment was becoming far too time consuming, so I made the difficult decision to search for a new hair stylist.
Based on the high Unilocal reviews, I made an appointment with Robin @ Salon Technique. Though I had planned to check out a few different stylists before making my final choice, my first appointment with Robin won me over and I’ve now been going to her for nearly a year. From the moment I met her, Robin made me feel so comfortable. She carefully listened to my ideas and preferences and then did everything possible to meet my expectations. The first time she colored my hair, it wasn’t quite what we were trying to achieve, so she made an appointment for me to come back in a few days and redid the color treatment for FREE!
Robin is gracious, easy to talk to, and an excellent stylist. She is skilled at giving a great haircut and does a fantastic job with color. And, she gives the BEST scalp massages I have ever had! Not only is Salon Technique clean and spacious, but Robin always offers a you a glass of cold water, cup of tea, or coffee — little personal touches that enhance the overall experience.
If you are looking for a great hair stylist in North Orange County, I highly recommend Robin. When it comes to hair, she is an artistic genious!
