Starbucks

*** Pitstop Review (Fullerton) ***
This is a standard starbucks that happens to be located within Target. It’s pretty weird because there’s a Starbucks on the opposite side of the plaza! Anyway, I needed some caffeine so a jolt of coffee it is :-)
Here’s what liked…
* Inside Target makes it easy for a one-​stop shopping experience. Get some stuff at Target and some coffee before leaving the store.
* Easy parking area. Plenty of spaces and no need to circle the lot like a vulture hunting for a space to land.
Here’s what I didn’t like…
* Not that it matters, but this location is a little smaller because it’s like a mini-​Starbucks.
Food = good, as expected
Seating area = clean
Service = ok
Restroom = clean

Came to this Starbucks a few times since I used to do a lot of shopping at the Target store. Everytime I come here the workers are rude and incompetent. The last time I was here in December 2015, there were lots of bugs in the pastry display (I’m guessing they were fruit flies). My sister notified the workers, but they literally just shrugged their shoulders, and one even gave her a look of «So what do you want me to do about it?» They didn’t do anything about the bugs and just went on as if nothing was wrong. This is a disgusting health issue and I can only imagine how unsanitary the rest of this Starbucks is.

I would not and am not ever ordering from this Starbucks again. It seems like every time I come in here they are out of what I want and it’s been different drinks. To top it off, there’s only one person taking the orders and making the drinks so if the line is long get ready to wait a good 10 – 15 minutes for your drink. The employee making the drinks literally has no sense of urgency. I just got back from trying to order a white chocolate mocha from this location and there was only one person in front of me and she ordered 3 passion tea lemonades, really simple drinks right? nope, the person took forever and then when she finally asks for my order, she says oh we’re out of white chocolate, wtf? So I’ve waited for nothing. I would not reccomend ordering from this location if you’re in a hurry or want your drink correctly made. I just don’t think that they train these people enough to do their job efficiently. It’s unfortunate.

The employees here are so rude. They act like your stupid and your bothering them. They don’t always make your drink right, and they always put a rounded frappé lid on my normal iced coffee, which makes my straw inaccessible… I just change it out… but still.

Locate inside Target in the Amerige Heights outdoor mall in Fullerton is this Starbucks. The location is in the front of the store, sharing the space with the Target Café. I don’t seem to have the best luck with the Starbucks inside a Target, and this visit seemed to be no exception.
I ordered a Chai Latte with soy milk. My order came up and I sipped it. It tasted a bit «off», and I sipped it again.
Did this location use a different soy milk?
Did the barista add too much milk? Not enough chai?
Then the light came on. They subbed my classic Chai tea with the awful Oprah one… the Oprah Chai has little or no pepper in the Chai, so it lacks flavor.
I walked up to the barista and asked if she gave me the «wrong» Chai, and she said yes because they ran out of the classic Chai.
Why would she sub my drink without telling me? I was standing right there when she was making it, and she even called the drink «Soy Chai Latte» when she placed it in the «pick up» area.
I am very disappointed, and I had her give me a hot brewed chai tea instead.
No apologies, and it didn’t dawn on her that a customer who regularly orders a Chai tea would notice the difference?
2 stars. I’ve experienced MUCH better service elsewhere.
