Super busy for lunch. The place was packed and service was crappy. Food was cheap and tasty. The glass noodles and pad Thai both good. The chicken satay was ok. But I really loved the tofu with veggies. The Thai iced was full of ice and almost too sweet for me. I’d get things to go next time.

Service was good. Food was alright. The bbq dishes was pretty good but everything else was kinda nasty. They really need to add some spices or something. Way over priced!!! One star for service, two stars for bbq sticks.

Went here to try the stuff sweet chicken wings and they were good! The portion was big I was only able to eat half. I tried their Thai tea it was also good. Not a five star since seats were a little out dated and kinda dirty looking. Other then that food was good, big portion.

Probably the worst Thai restaurant I’ve ever been. Everythings is so bland. We ordered Thai BBQ chicken dinner — rice and chicken were dry. Pad thai was bland. They left out the dankness in Tom Yum soup. I recommend driving to Fasai Thai instead if you’re in the neighborhood. You guys need to get a new chef.

… Shrimp Pad Thai was semi– edible. Kinda grossed me out after a couple of bites. The noodles were mushed together, pretty bland and only came with three shrimp but that was okay because I only ate one and it grossed me out. The peanuts sprinkled on the side were rancid. Something purple joined the party which leads me to believe they don’t use clean pots and was probably left over from the dish before mine. Probably won’t come back here. Definitely going to try something else when craving Thai food.

I already know Korean servers don’t understand my English but Thai restaurants servers are much better communicators. Had the urge to get tom yum soup so I walked in to feast myself. In addition, I found out why the green curry was so out of line at their sister restaurant two months ago. Ownership changed, that’s why. Now I have to remind myself to drive twice far to this better one.

I got the sweet angel and a vegetable dish(forgot which one). The sweet angel dish is boneless stuffed chicken wings(comes with two) with shrimp fried rice. It was yummy but I think it’s way overpriced. The vegetable dish, it was literally just vegetables with a sauce, was like $ 10. I mean come on. that’s just insanely expensive. The Thai iced tea was good. Their menu is huge. They all look good. But their price is too high. I wouldn’t go back.

What’s nice about this restaurant is that it’s next to the AMC theater with the reclining seats. So that if you don’t have dinner at the theater, you can have dinner within walking distance. Thai Original BBQ, unfortunately, doesn’t set itself apart from the rest. There are a lot of Thai restaurants in Orange County /LA. You really have to be special to be different from the rest, you have to be a name that when you mention to a friend, they answer with«oh, I love that place.» Not, «where’s that?» There was nothing spectacular about the dishes we ordered. The Pad Thai was a little dry and lack good flavor. It also feels old and outdated on the inside, they really need to a major makeover to the restaurant so it feels more inviting. Without the food or the atmosphere, you really don’t have a whole lot to go on.

Went for dinner on Monday night. Soon as we walked it, its smelled weird. Not sure if it was some sorta of spray or what. We searched for a clean table, plenty of them had food on them or under them. The service was just ok. Got the angel wings, dearest crab dinner, and the coconut soup medium spicy. All were super bland. I had to put soy sauce and chili sauce on all of it to be able to eat it.

The food is great, especially the drunken noodle and Kai yang chicken. The portions of beef on the drunken noodle was a little small last time. Service was great as always. We were seated immediately and food came on fast. Good place to check out in the Fullerton area.

After coming here a few times, I would have to give this place a meh-a-ok rating. The service is ok, sometimes REALLY slow. Even when I order for a pick up, upon arrival, it takes awhile sometimes for someone to even help me! Thai ice tea — I’m addicted and love thai ice tea but O… M…G…this place has the worst one I’ve ever had! They put too much ice(even when I requested them to just put a little bit), it’s quite bitter sometimes. At times they will actually put some cream but still tastes yeeky to me. It’s hard to describe but just has this nasty taste. Yuck. Pad See Ew — Ok, this is decent but my only complaint is that it’s too oily sometimes! They might as well just make this a pad see ew soup. Tom yum soup — Pretty decent and delicious. Thai bbq chicken fried rice — Overall a decent dish. Not much fan of their chicken though… too dry! It’s not THE best Thai place, however, if you just want a-ok thai food, this is your place. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

There are many Thai Original BBQ’s to be found, but food quality-wise, this location is my favorite. They have the best pad see ew, best wings of angel, grilled beef salad, tom yum and more. Of all the times I’ve been here(more than I can remember) I can honestly say that I’ve not ordered anything here that did not satisfy. The ambiance is not much, and the location is in a busy shopping center, but if you want some awesome Thai comfort food, you can’t go wrong with this place; it never fails to please.

My girlfriend introduced me to this place last night and she was very shocked that I’ve never been here before. We got the original Thai BBQ chicken and pad see ew. The chicken was good. a bit dry for my taste, but the seasoning on the skin was delicious. The fried rice that comes with it was ok. nothing really stood out. Pad see ew was good, but oily. very very oily. I also wished they put more broccoli. Overall it was good… 3 stars for the food and an extra star for the attentive service.

So I went there today for lunch, first, I ordered the yellow curry with chicken, what came out wasn’t yellow at all! It looked like greasy beef stew. I sent it back, and asked for chicken pad Thai, I got pad Thai, looked like the noodles were melted, there was one tiny sliver of chicken in it. I asked my waitress where the chicken was, and she replied, «this is the lunch portion» uuuuh??? Do not go to this place if you’re not into Slime noodles… Really off putting!

Fullerton will always have a special place in my heart. Decided to come to the area and have a quick dinner with my friend on a Friday night. Not as good as the first time but still one of the better BBQ restaurant in the area. Ordered the BBQ spare ribs S-2 again, the potion is big and the BBQ spare ribs is really tasty, however the ribs was not that hot. Could of been better if the food was hotter. I think plus tax and tips was $ 14 total for the dish. Services here was great. My friend ordered the coconut soup, I tried some and it was pretty good also.

Although it’s not a complete disaster, it’s definitely a very unimpressive experience. I ordered the tom yum seafood noodle. The colour was bland, the flavour simply fishy without any depth, and most of the seafood was overcooked cheap calamari. The shrimp(prawns) were hard and overcooked too. Service was below average and lacked friendliness. I parked my car next to one of their cars in the car park and one of the kitchen staff came out to stare at me like he owned the goddamned car park or I’ve hit his car. The wait staff doesn’t belong in hospitality trade either.

I’ve been coming to The Original Thai BBQ since I was a little girl. So much that I memorize the order Numbers by heart. Although Cerritos Thai BBQ is my favorite location I go to Fullerton since it’s much closer to me. I had tried more then half the items on there menu but my mains are BBQ Chicken which comes with fried rice and two pieces of shrimp, 8 pieces of Chicken or beef satay(Beef taste better), Shrimp Phad Thai, BBQ Ribs, Combination soup and Spicy Beef salad. They portions are big and the food is good. Just an FYI, Sometimes they overlook the BBQ chicken so I ask the waitress when placing my order ahead of time to make sure the chicken is not overlooked. I don’t like dry chicken. Other then the chicken, everything is really tasty. Order Thai iced tea with your meal. They have good tea here too, not too sweet and taste just right. Service has been good. If I have a call in order, it’s normally 15 minutes and by the time I arrive the food is ready at the counter to go. If I’m dining it, servers are always nice and fast to serve. Now, the reason why I am giving such a low rating after all the positive stuff I wrote… Regardless of how much I like a restaurant or how good there food taste, I refuse to give a high rating to a restaurant that has been closed twice two months in a row(May & June 2014) due to cockroach infestation. Health comes first and to know a restaurant still operates with this problem to me is unacceptable. But on a positive note, there’s always The BBQ in Cerritos.
