Time Warner Business Class

I am a small business owner with two employees and when the TW Rep. came in and showed me I could save money each month I thought it sounded great, after all TW is well known. So I switched to their business service which was a huge mistake. The Rep. lied to me, they did the bait-​in-​switch and I had to pay huge to get out of the contract. I told the Rep. I would be moving my office by my home and wanted to make sure I would be able to take the service with me and that I would not be penalized. I knew where I was moving to, gave him the info. and he said they were in my area of Mission Viejo and all I had to do was take their service with me and there was no penalty. He also said I would still be saving money when I moved, not the case and a flat out lie. Well I did move and guess what they did not have service in my new location. First they said since I had to cancel I owed them a termination fee of $ 13,000 to get out of the contract, that is right $ 13,000. After numerous calls they said they would reduce the early termination fee to a bit over $ 7,0000 are you kidding me… After numerous calls, complaints, etc. and speaking to their Corp. office (an Exec. who handled such complaints) and escalating this I they dropped it to $ 790 and if I didn’t pay they said they would send me to collections. I continued to go back to why do I have to pay when you do NOT offer service and my new location? I read the contract, they read the contract and they couldn’t even interpret their own legal jargon. I was lied to and felt they extorted money from me. They refused to let me speak to anyone higher up. After this went on for two months I finally gave in due to the time, frustration and anger it was causing me. I will continue tell everyone I know about my horrible experience with Time Warner. And as if this wasn’t bad enough they kept sending me emails on their services. For a company so large and known I am shocked at their tactics. Apparently Time Warner needed my $ 790.00 more than my family did!!! This whole issue ended almost 3 months ago and I am just as nary today as I was then, I hate being taken advantage of and TW takes 1^st prize for the biggest POS ever.

RUN!!! Do not use Time Warner, Business Class, the only service they offer is to sign you up! very simple if you want to deal with this go ahead, it is not worth the frustration!

–each time you add a phone your 3yr contract is extended
–the buyout is the full payoff of the contract
–no accommodation to change billing date it is locked in stone
–there voice mail recording is we are very busy, please call back when we are not so
busy? So customer are an inconvenience!
–their phone system is set up to take the next incoming calls, so twice I have been left on hold for an excessive of 45 minutes or more, only to be told they can not help me!
–we arranged our move to a new location, they did everything to make it extremely difficult, we called over ten times talked with so called supervisors and never received a call back. There is no accountability as they are on a rotating cue and your chance of reaching the same person is nil
–the topper was a collection bill for the equiptment they installed at the old location, that they forget to pick as part of the move and this was issued 18 days after the move and we were separate bill with a different billing date on the new location.
–If their service is so good, why do they have a contract and no buyout?
–If I had not advertised these numbers for seven years, we would have Verizon as their comparable internet is a fraction of the price and for the same price, we could have 5 time the internet speed for the same price.
–I even got ahold of the Sales Director Jeff Ugalde and was promised he would have some call me, I informed him twice and now my 3^rd email has gone unanswered.
–Time warner obviously has too many customers and is finding ways to get rid of them, just my opinion as they could hire staff to man the phone if our business was important today and frankly I should not have to adjust my schedule to accommodate their lack commitment to customer service and sales support!
This is why they have a contract and penalize you for trying their product!-I wish they had negative stars.

I never had bad service like the one they provide and they always tell lies and they say what they don’t do and keep charging you more than they told you to just start the service with them
