Vino Nostra is one of those rare finds that makes everyone feel like family. I have brought all my friends and family here and they are always impressed with the hospitality and unique, incredible wines. This truly is a hidden gem in the downtown Fullerton community.

My bf and I live in DTF and have always walked by Vino Nostra, and today after having massages we decided to stop in for some wine. It was raining and really windy out so this was perfect. The owner was so welcoming and we ordered our favorite Pinot Noir. We had a glass then decided on a flight. He reccomended we share a flight as it would be about 2 glasses each. This was perfect. We had a Carmenere from Chile, a Malbec from Argentina, a Cabernet from Chinon and a mix I believe. My favorite was the Pinot Noir and the Carmenere. To our surprise, they had live music playing that day. They were awesome and the place got packed. Later we shared a cheese, salami, grape platter that also had olives and nuts. We had such a great time. The vibe was def chill and cool without the obnoxious college kid crowd. We bought a bottle of the Pinot Noir for our home collection. Great place to have conversation and relax. Go have a glass you will not be dissapointed.

Love my vino and the service. I really enjoy learning about the wines. Dena the owner sits and explains what wines are good with what foods/​cheeses. Location is perfect, pleanty of parking. This place is reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is rellaxing, with beautiful art pieces from the local artists. Definitely a place to visit.

I’m more of a beer aficionado, but they had a great beer selection and none of the condescension I’ve experienced at some other oenological venues

Great place to stop by, have some great wine and chit chat. The owner is very nice and friendly. Best place in town! I nightly recommend you try this place out.

My husband and I came here for a much needed date night. It was a wonderful experience. I felt like I was in the owner’s living room. She was so welcoming and friendly but not in an annoying pushy way. I loved every wine on the flight especially the Cherry one. We were there on a Tuesday so we had the complimentary cheese, crackers, and chocolate which were yummy! The place is very cozy and cute. I loved that there were hooks under the table for my purse, it’s the details that count! Last, we were able to taste the spiced mulled wine which was delicious. They sell the kit so I bought it and made it at home on New Years! I told my husband we must make this a regular date night spot!

I absolutely love this place. Dena and Kevin are great and really love what they’re doing and know the stuff. My boyfriend and I went for the tasting Tuesday last week and we’re back last night for their New Years party and we’re in love. Dena remembered is from our previous visit and both she and Kevin are so conversational with their customers. We will definitely be back! Great wine, great atmosphere, can’t ask for more!

I went here last night just to hang out with a friend. I didn’t expect much at first, but I was surprised how awesome this place is. It’s quite intimate and relaxing. The best part is Dena the owner is very passionate about wine and her work. Overall, it’s an amazing place to chill, wind down or party even. I would definitely go here again!

Just moved to downtown Fullerton this past August, and I was looking for great local spots. This place hits the nail on the head! Awesome vibe on the interior, great, delicious, extremely fairly priced wines, and Dena (Dina? Sorry if I spelled it wrong!!) and Kevin are awesome! They work hard to have a personal relationship with all their customers, and they really create a sense of community amidst good conversation and good wine. Their first interest is the happiness of their customers! Definitely stop by for a wonderful time!

Omg. Can I tell you how cute and sweet the owner is?. Stumbled on this place after leaving the Ramen place for dinner. Very cute, clean and welcoming. Had 3 girlfriends in tow so we ended up enjoying a bottle of Freakshow (the owner’s recommendation) — absolutely fabulous. Prices were very reasonable.
Come in and enjoy! It’s a great place to sit and chat!

Great wine club! Joined in Solvang and now I pick you here. The place is a little small but has a great ambiance. Last time I was here the place was packed for our tasting. Super service. Will keep coming of course.
Chairs are ok. But with different seating I’m sure they could get more people in. Tasty wines. I want more white varieties.

LOVE this place! dina is an absolute sweetheart… she’s sooooo sociable and knowledgeable. the place itself is fantastic… décor is GREAT and simple. the wines are fantastic… i saw they have beer too… maybe next time!

Stumbled on this place with my girlfriend for a spontaneous evening and we had such an amazing time! Im quite the critic, so kudos to Dina and her husband! I loved the atmosphere and interior design. Great craftsmanship and carpentry. The display shelving unit with the chalk board wall at center is amazing. Theyve paid particular attention to detail and have done a phenomenal job with complimentary colors while including art from a local artist.
They are very well kept and clean while maintaining that rustic personal wine lounge effect. They have an array of wine and craft beers so you have to visit more than once! They serve complimentary cheese, crackers, and salami… what else can you ask for?
The menu is perfect and the wine selection is great! I recommend the flight which ranges from 15 – 25 $ depending on wine. 4−3oz. glasses 1 white 3 red all designed to give your pallete a perfect balance leaving you with that Aha! delicious!!! experience.
Dina (owner) is absolutely great! You dont find that personal effect very many places. Talk about Humility at its finest. You’re not a dollar sign here shes very engaged with her customers. She made us feel right at home granted we were 1^st timers. She does a magnificent job her hospitality get 5 stars! Not once did I feel like I was waiting for service as I looked around everyone seemed more than satisfied. 1 woman running the show with about 12 to 15 customers! I will definitely be back!!!

Moving from NYC to Fullerton, CA, for work I was a bit nervous that I would not find that go-​to wine bar with some good craft beers. Thank goodness we walked into this place! They bring in different wines from around the region and switch around their Taps to keep every palette satisfied. Not to mention they have Tuesday night wine tasting!
The owners, Kevin and Dena, really make this place come together with art from local artists filling up the walls. The prohibition ambiance they built into this place adds such a fun atmosphere. Their in-​depth knowledge of beer and wine helps to make the decision on what to drink much easier!
As a young professional, I highly recommend this place!

Vino Nostra is a gem in Downtown Fullerton and an exceptional addition to the community. I have nothing but kind words and praise for Vino Nostra and the wonderful owners behind it, Kevin and Dena. Vino Nostra is a quaint, warm and inviting spot to enjoy a glass of their wonderful selection of wine or draft beer with your hunny or have good conversations with friends. It doesn’t give off a bar type vibe at all but just feels like a chill spot to share a drink or two.
The décor at night is dim with accents of light throughout the space. The entire bar is not large at all with a bar area and about 4 – 5 tables. The design has a sort of intimate hipster type feel to it with a cute chalkboard menu, a tiny store where you can take home the wine and beer that you’ve had, an art gallery in which they feature a new artist every month, and a wall mural of Goldenbelt Winery which existed in Fullerton in the 1800s. They have an array of wine and draft beer to choose from that the owners personally select. Both Kevin and Dena are so warm, friendly and genuine. I noticed that they made sure to spend time with each and every one of their customers. Before settling on a wine, they pour a small sample to taste and they are so knowledgable of their beers and wines as they have been in the industry for many many years. My boyfriend and I ended up loving the Cabernet so much that we couldn’t leave without purchasing a bottle!
My boyfriend and I will definitely be back again and again! Thanks to my fellow Unilocal users, I would have never found this place! I wish nothing but the best for Vino Nostra and look forward to seeing them succeed in the restaurant industry!
