Great donuts! Had a chocolate bacon bar and one with smores on it. Best donuts ive ever had!

I LOVE donuts. Probably too much. I’m easy though — a fresh cake donut with vanilla frosting & sprinkles has my heart. This place is so close to my work & home, so it’s convenient. I love supporting local businesses as well, so win win. I enjoyed their sprinkle cake donut and my boyfriend loved their chocolate bar. However the donuts in the cases looked OLD, kind of «glazed over» and not in a good way! I asked for the fresh donuts on the baking racks. Either way, delicious. Hope they start selling more soon!

Even though we’ve driven down Chapman hundreds of times, we stopped here for the first time a couple of Sundays ago just as the shop opened. The young man at the counter was very polite and helpful. We loved the donuts and came back a couple of weeks later on their Anniversary. Bought a dozen, got our free t-​shirt and walked out happy again. Compliments to the owner and staff. We’re now fans!

Finally tried this place out after I’ve bookmarked it a long time ago! The little shop is so cute, I love the décor so much lol. Service is friendly, which is always a plus. Right when me and my sister walked in a lady was there and greeted us with a smile. All the donuts looks delicious! I was sad that the two donuts I wanted; the zombie and the heart shape one, had raspberry fillings. I do not like raspberries at all but I know a lot of people do. So instead I got the coffin, I was alright with it. I thought the filling a little too much and too sweet but overall it was alright. My sister for the red velvet eyeball which she loved! Next time I think I’ll try that one out, or another donut that catches my eye :) would definitely come back here again. Especially since it’s so close to my school :).

So good! I finally was able to try them and they are so yummy! If you go to fullerton college it’s a good walking distance. The service was also great she had a smile that early in the morning made me feel welcomed.

Yumm! I’ve had Zombee Donuts bookmarked for a while and finally got to stop by. I suggest going in before 11:00 because they sell out quick. They have a small parking lot in the back and street parking and the shop is easy to find.
This place reminds my of Voodoo donuts in Portland. They had a lot of different options to choose from and the donuts were pretty good. Mt favorite is the cookies and scream.

Good donuts, very fresh and we were there noonish. I ordered the maple bacon bar which was very good, although I did not think the bacon added anything to it. I also got a zombee, because it made me laugh, and I loved that there is raspberry jelly inside for brains, braaiinsss! The rest of the zombee is a glazed donut, fresh and yummy. My friend went with an old fashioned chocolate donut, which she liked a lot. Parking in the back.

I went there again Sat. Feb. 6^th around 7am and once again a very nice woman helped me and couldn’t have been nicer.
All the donuts are so good I have trouble deciding but don’t fear they are happy to describe each item to you and are very honest.
This place is the best place to go for extremely REAL friendliness and customer service and the best donuts around.

We found Zombee Donuts on Unilocal and decided to make the 15 minute drive to check it out. Lucky us we showed up this morning to a celebration event for the shop’s one-​year anniversary. Balloons and face painting were among the special treats. But the highlight of our visit was the donuts for sure! We ordered a variety and the standouts for our family of five were The Samoa, The Nutella and the «Cookies and Scream.» Fresh, soft and melt-​in-​your-​mouth delicious — all of them!
The customer service was stellar and we had the opportunity to meet the owners– a friendly mother-​daughter duo whose story was inspiring to anyone who’s ever been brave enough to set out on their own and try to build a business from the ground up. Their product reflects their passion and I truly hope they experience the success of their efforts for many years to come! Zombee Donuts is a must-​try for sure!

Wow. Decided to stop on a whim and glad we did. Great service amazing looking donuts and pastries can’t wait to get home and have a big ol glass of milk! Yummies for Zombies!!!

Zombee Donuts! Awesome name for a donut shop! Wanted to try their goodies because they reminded me of Voodoo donuts in Portland. After checking out their website beforehand, I decided that there were 3 donuts that I had to try.
Found the shop easy enough. Their shop looked like a converted little home like it was just another home in the neighborhood. The inside of the place was very cozy. I really liked the décor which was quite unique. Took some pics for folks to check out.
Well, I did not have the opportunity to try all 3 donuts on my wish list. I tried 2 out of 3 plus a couple of bites from my wife’s choices. That day, they had been pretty busy so the cases were about half full.
Maple Bacon Bar was on my wish list. Did not quite live up to my expectations. It was fine, but I’ve tasted many better offerings elsewhere. (3 stars)
Cookies and Scream was one of my wife’s choices. This raised donut did not make me scream with delight. Again, it was simply okay. (3 stars)
Nutella was another of my wife’s choices. I liked the Nutella frosting and the chocolate cream filling as well. Would possibly order this one again. (3.5 stars)
Coffin was also on my wish list. This donut was my favorite of everything that I tried. It is a chocolate bar filled with bavarian cream. The white cross on top of the bar tasted like butter cream, and it was good too. Would absolutely order this one again. (4 stars)
PB&J was to be my third donut. Unfortunately, they were already sold out!!!
Well, I do plan on making a return trip to Zombee Donuts some day. I have to try one of their PB&J donuts!
3.5 stars overall for Zombee!

The first time I came here, I knew it was nearby and wanted to knock this off my bookmarks. I came in the late afternoon and got my usual which is the voodoo, eyeball (red velvet and red icing drizzled), black widow (plain glazed with a donut hole with red icing drizzled), and my favorite which is the maple bacon bar. All of them were pretty fresh tasting
$ 2.50 a special donut. $ 23 a dozen. They also have coffee, as well iced coffee. $ 0.50 to use card.
They have a small parking lot in the back and street parking.

This place is all around AWESOME!!! I mean Zombies, cool staff, amazing donuts, plus pink & black décor… What more could one ask for?!
Absolutely if you are in the area this place is a MUST TRY!!! Pssh even if you aren’t in the area, go to there! This was my second time getting donuts from here, I will be back to try more. There’s soo many delicious mouthwatering selections, it’s very difficult to choose. But that just means you must go back again lol.
Current favorite is The Monster. It’s frosting is infused with Monster energy drink flavor, and there is the most delicious whipped cream center… Heavenly!
Their vegan selections are phenomenal, especially the Banana Nut!!! My husband LOVES the Death by Chocolate!!! Maple Bacon is soo amazing, never thought I’d like Bacon on my donut (generally the bacon is wiggly but theirs is crispy perfect). The Zombee is my second favorite! I mean you bite into its head and mmmm jelly brainz!!!
This place is impressively creative and really knows what they’re doing in the kitchen!!! Best donuts in OC!!! Thank you for your excellent service & fabulous baked goods!!!

This was a really lucky find as we were just looking for Bootlegger’s Brewing and ended up a little lost. We found this location and had to stop in. The Zombie theme was just too cool. Fun and tasteful without any gory issues. We were greeted quickly by one of the owners who was great (she was their daughter). Very friendly, great customer service and she really seemed to love being there. She explained the menu to us and we ended up buying 4 doughnuts.
#1. Oreo Cookies and Scream. Really cool. Crushed up Oreo cookies on the outside of a fluffy doughnut with a delicious whipped cream. Super tasty and really addicting.
#2. Samoa. Maybe my favorite. Reminds me of a girl scout cookie if it were a fluffy tasty doughnut. The shaved coconut is a great topping for this one.
#3. Eyeball. Red velvet doughnut that was moist, covered in a great glaze with a doughnut hole in the middle. Also good!
#4. Peanut Butter and Jelly. This was the winner for me. I can honestly say it took care of my jelly doughnut craving, my PB&J craving and left me wanting more. This is the epitome of a signature doughnut!
We also got a cup of hazelnut coffee that was a must to counteract the wonderfully sweet treats we consumed. Totally worth it. There are a few seats to eat inside as well, so that was nice.
Note: There is a 50 cent charge to use your credit or debit card, so cash isn’t a bad idea if possible. If this will offset some of the owners cost and we can keep getting awesome doughnuts, I have no issue with this.
For a great place to eat doughnuts, drink coffee and think about a possible Zombie apocalypse, this is the place.

HOLY MOLY GUACALMOLE!!! So, since my last review, I didn’t let the first experience deter me from getting my vegan donut fix! I’ve been back a few times and have totally fallen in love with the vegan banana nut donut! BEST. DONUT. EVER. It was moist and full of deliciousness. I went back again a couple of weeks ago and was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have any vegan banana nut donuts. When I shared my (slight) disappointment, the owner said that I could always call her the day before and she would make some! What the WHAT??? Gimme. My. VEGAN. BANANA. NUT. DONUTS!!! ;)
Oh, and I did grab a dozen donuts (non vegan ones) for my colleagues. Someone told me, «I heard when donuts have too much frosting or are decorated well, they’re generally not good; these are delicious!!!»

When it’s Halloween and you find out this place is open 24 hours that night, you put down all urges to go to Krispy Kreme and you come here. Why? Because you want to dine as Zombees do!
Now I don’t really remember paying 20 plus bucks for a dozen donuts in my existence on Earth; but I told myself if I ever get to a unique donut shop where I don’t have to drive to LA — I just might. So I did.
Assortment of donuts are good and interesting to look at. Guess my fave was the Samoa. You can eat inside or take it to go. A cute little space. Bought a dozen assorted, some of the cereal on the Cereal Killer donuts were stale; some cakes were good (not too sweet) and fresh, others not so much. Be selective and ask for a sample if possible.
Think we spent $ 24 – 26 mainly for the dozen, a coffee and milk. o_​O — Overall, I thought the owner was super nice/​friendly and I loved the Samoa!

Yumm! I’ve had Zombee Donuts bookmarked for a while and finally got to stop by and pick up some goodies when I met my boyfriend over at his office nearby.
For a Sunday morning right before 11, they didn’t have too much left so I’d recommend coming earlier. Service was friendly and fast and it’s convenient that their store is pretty big for a donut shop and there’s a mini parking lot in the back with less than 10 spaces.
Ordered the maple bar and chocolate bar (pretty good), a red velvet eye (yummy!), an original glazed donut spider with a donut hole in the middle (YES), and a coconut samoa which was pretty delicious as well.
Can’t wait to go back and try more one day.

Zombee donuts are another donut shop that creates unique offerings, as well as vegan donuts options for those who eat vegan. Located close to Fullerton College, the location almost looks like a house that was converted over into a donut shop—
I picked up a sampling to try out, and the only donuts that really stood out was the ‘eyeball’ (red velvet) and the ‘cookies n scream’ (crushed oreos) donuts, all of the others were just average to me. The eyeball donut was the best, the red velvet was very soft, and it was balanced perfectly with the frosting. The staff was very friendly, and helpful with making selections, which I appreciated. I think it could be due to the fact we went there in the afternoon, the donuts didn’t taste as fresh to me as other places that I frequent.
If you are in the area, I recommend trying it out, but don’t go out of your way. 3 stars for the donut, and 1 extra star for the pleasant staff.

Zombee Donuts offers several unique donuts, and as you might be able to tell by the name… many come with a sp00ky twist. It is quite reminiscent of Voodoo Donuts, but I’ve never been there so I can’t compare them taste wise. The interior is not terrifying at all, rather, it has a pink and black color scheme. For the girly zombies, I guess. There are signs saying, «walkers welcome!» and a wall that has a couple of zombies coming out of the shop, pink boxes in hand. Who needs brains?
We arrived around 5 pm on Friday, and apparently it was HAPPY HOUR, which meant BOGO donuts or a dozen for ½ off. Woah, talk about lucky! We got 4 donuts for $ 4.50 and were pretty stoked about that.
— Zombee Mascot: Plot twist! It’s your turn to eat this zombie’s delicious, jelly filled brainzzz. Basically a glazed donut with strawberry jelly in its noggin.
— Monster: Crème filled donut with Monster energy drink icing. The crème wasn’t too sugary or thick. I really liked this one.
— PB&J: Taste wise, this one won! There is a generous raspberry jelly filling with peanut butter frosting.
— Eyeball: Red velvet donut with a chocolate Ganache donut hole to make it look like an eyeball. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try this one because ~someone~ forgot to share… but aesthetically ¹⁰⁄₁₀.
All the donuts had dough that was a great consistency, and they were not too sweet. They even have a specialty vegan donut of the week. If you are a zombie/​horror aficionado who happens to have a wicked sweet tooth, this is the place for you.

I was pretty excited to try Zombee donuts after it popped up on this foodie list on facebook. I had been trying to find an opportune time to go to give this bad boys a try. Luckily, the office had planned a Walking Dead potlock thing and I figured these donuts would fit in really well with the theme.
I dropped by at 615AM. There’s a teeny parking lot in the back, but lots of residential/​street parking around. The store is clean and the staff was nice– even that early in the morning.
I got a dozen treats: 2 of the zombee (note, i almost typed, voodoo, ahem), 2 eyeball/​red velvet, cookie crisp, fruit loops, monster, 2 coffins, cake with sprinkles and two regular glazed for the less adventurous. Came out to $ 23.00
Mind you, they do take credit cards now, with a .50 fee.
Some of us got pretty excited over these zombee donuts.
The fruit loops cake donut was just OK, the cake was a little dry for my liking, but the eyeball/​red velvet was delicious. I also had a nibble of the non-​cake options and they were good, but man everything was sugar bombed. I suppose though, they’re donuts so can’t expect them not to be sweet.
Overall, I’d return, but I wouldnt venture out from my home area to partake in these ghoulish treats.
