We really enjoyed the food here. Everything tasted fresh and on point. Keep up the good work!

My husband and I came here for an early dinner. The inside was a lot bigger than either of us expected. The owner asked us to sit anywhere we wanted and came by with menus and took our drink order. She made some recommendations as we looked through the menu and then took our order. Our food was prepared very quickly and the ingredients were very fresh! I had the spicy chicken stir-fry with white rice and my husband had the house combo. Though he doesn’t like in-your-face spicy, he loved his dish. You just have to avoid eating the red peppers in it and you’re good. Otherwise your mouth is on FIRE. Both dishes were great, as was the soups we got with our meals. I had the egg drop soup and he had the hot and sour soup. While both tasted different than the traditional soups, it was still really good. The location in the run-down strip mall looked sketch and the prices were higher than traditional chinese food, but, again, when in Katy, most things are. The food and service were great, though, and distance from our home was convenient We will definitely come back and try some of the other items suggested here on Unilocal

CLOSED-drove by today and saw a different name on the sign. Location curse has struck again. Was recommended by friends, or I may not have stopped in. So many restaurants have been at this location for a couple of months at a time… this one is great! A little sushi, a little Chinese, a little Korean mixed together for great choices. Egg rolls were good. Very crisp and well filled and seasoned. Hot and sour soup was good. Different from other Chinese restaurants, but delicious. Hubby and I split General Yong chicken and Bulgogi need plates. Chicken was reminiscent of average General Tso, but at the same time was different. Very good. The fried rice that comes with it was very good and not mushy. The Bulgogi was a plate of marinated grilled beef and mixed vegetables. It was amazing. Tender with deep flavor. Pricier than we are used to for«Chinese dinner,» but so worth it! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Great place! Highly recommend!

Really earnest, honest, delicious food! I love the bulgogi here! The Korean pork stew is sooo delicious-but not for the faint of heart. Great service!

Service is super slow. There was only one other couple in the whole place and it took a total of 30 mins to get a cucumber roll, Avocado roll, and another sushi roll. Not impressed.

Omg it was the worst Chinese food ever and horrible service. The restaurant needs to stop serving food.

I absolutely LOVE Yong’s! All of her food is delicious and the flavors are always perfect. The sushi is very fresh, and the Korean BBQ ribs are amazing! Yong is super sweet, and you can tell she’s passionate about her food! She even makes her own gourmet soy sauce! This place is truly a hidden gem.

I ordered from here when it was monsoon-ing outside a few weeks ago. I was so excited they delivered that i didnt ask to many questions. Food was great and fresh! well a few days later i went to order again and realized their delivery charge is $ 4! thats extremely high to go down the street! Also this place is EXPENSIVE… sushi roll and Vietnamese spring rolls were $ 22. All in all, good food but $$$$$$$$

I normally stay away from reviewing an establishment as an individual’s view and tastes can dramatically change from person to person. However there is one thing that I can NOT stand and that is horrible service. Where to begin… It was a Sunday night and we were a table of 9, but we were the only 9 people in the restaurant. The waiter never offered a refill, and served the food person by person. 4 of the people had finished eating their entrees before 5 of us had ever been served. This is without a doubt the worst service I have ever received. There was a plus I did take it upon my self to serve our tables drinks and the staff didn’t seem to let that bother them… The second star was only because the food was good but not worth the frustration of the horrible service.

Everything we tried was great! PHO, egg rolls, spring rolls and sushi! Fruit infused vodka decorated the full service bar!

I was about to just get a main dish along with a roll but the waiter recommended the crab puff to start off with so I ordered that. I didn’t know what to expect but it tasted so good especially the filling inside the crab puff. Ordered the egg drop soup. Also ordered the House fried rice which comes with beef, chicken, and shrimp. The fried rice wasn’t too oily or greasy yet it still had flavor and generous amounts of beef, chicken, and shrimp. I finally finished off my meal with a cowboy roll which happened to be a tempura roll. Overall not bad. Service was friendly and quick.

Nice, family style place. We tried and really like beef bulgogi, Kung pao chicken, and princess chicken. Definitely come back… location is in back of strip mall…

WHATISWRONGWITHFULSHEAR??? This place should be packed all the time. I just got the General Tso Chicken and it’s by a MILE the best I’ve ever had. I like it better than PF Changs and that’s saying a lot. The owner is super sweet too. You guys better go keep this nice lady in business because I NEED this good Asian food way out west.

Best egg rolls! I want to point out that this is a FUSION restaurant. This is not traditional Chinese restaurant. The food is always high quality, fresh, and delicious. The choices on the menu are abundant. You will find something to love. I have tried many of the dishes and they are always served perfectly. Not cold, not greasy. It is always delicious. What to get: Egg rolls Hot and Sour soup(ask for them to add phở noodles) Any entrée(be brave and try spicy twisted pork, or bulgogi, or general’s chicken) The service puts this rating at 5 stars. They are all friendly and attentive. Tonight our server brought out our apps, asked if we needed anything, then said she had to leave, but another server would be taking over. The new server was just as friendly and attentive as the first. Didn’t miss a beat. If you don’t see something on the menu you like, ask for Yong. She will come out and try to make something for you. I heard her talking to the people at the table next to ours. She made them a fried shrimp basket with fries. Great customer service. Polite, well mannered staff. Delicious food. Best egg rolls! 5 stars!

I hardly type many reviews on Unilocal but when I do it’s for good reason. I eat lunch at different restaurants daily. I like somewhere quick that has healthy food. If you are into healthy eating t his is a wonderful place. The brown rice comes out like its cooked personally for you and doesn’t have that stickiness from sitting in a rice cooker for 3 days. I usually order the«spicy princess chicken» it is DELICIOUS. I think it’s $ 7 or $ 8 for the lunch special! Even the dinner portions are reasonably priced I believe $ 9.95. They also have delicious salads with«miso» dressing, I usually substitute that instead of the soup for my lunch special. I could go on and on anytime I work in Fulshear I go to Yang’s and yes if I’m working in that area for 2 – 3 weeks you can bet I will be there every day for lunch, that is how delicious this place is. In summary if you want great prices, good service, healthy, fresh and well prepared food this is the place to go.(Usually only takes about 20 – 30 minutes from the moment I walk in for lunch to the moment I leave)

Thank you Unilocalers! I never would have tried this place if it wasn’t for the stellar reviews. It’s in a pretty run down strip mall with a Dollar General store as the anchor. Not usually a spot that calls out«try me!» Being somewhat new to the area, and not knowing a ton of restaurants around our home, I hopped on Unilocal.Yong’s came up on being close to the house. My family and I love great Asian food, so we thought we’d give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. You have to just take in the atmosphere with a grain of salt. We don’t go to places for the atmosphere. We go for good food and good service. We received both. The food was extremely fresh and the portions were enormous. My husband and I both ordered our dishes«extra spicy,» and that’s exactly how they came out. We both had the Princess Stir Fry(husband had chicken, I had beef.) They were both delicious and loaded with freshly cooked vegetables. We’ve been back several times and had wonderful experiences each time. We even took my picky gluten free vegan mother there last month. The owner/chef came out and made a specially cooked meal just for her! Even my mother was pleased with her meal! Go…try it for yourself! You won’t be disappointed!

I live in Fulshear and Yong’s is our go to restaurant. We have never had a bad dish here. They are never busy, so ere is not a lot of staff, so if it gets busy, you should expect longer service time, but this has not been an issue for us. My wife and I usually split a Cali roll and a spicy chicken princess. Always very good. Today we tried pan fried wontons in addition and they were also very good. Prices are very reasonable.

Came back for dinner, only diners at 6:30 p.m. ordered egg rolls, but were served spring rolls, that was corrected. SO ordered soup and the pork and wings entrée, as they brought out my 3 meat stir fry, announced they had no pork & wings and would bring SO beef ribs. The gristle in the meat turned him off so he ate some rice and egg rolls. 3 – 5 families came through the door and our waiter never returned to our table to refill water or ask how his substitute was. When she brought the check, she asked what was wrong with his food, tad late to be asking. He asked for the $ 18.00 to be credited, owner said he had taken a bite and she would only credit the check for $ 9.00. Odd at best. Bad move on the owner’s part.

After reading the positive reviews on Unilocal we decided to try Yongs during the week. The restaurant is located in a pretty random looking strip mall, next to a Dollar General store so not exactly the most appetizing looking location! Happy to report that you definitely should not judge a book by its cover. Yongs is a great place. It’s actually huge inside, we couldn’t believe how big it was and, I am glad to say, absolutely spotless! Service. We were served by the owner Yong. Very friendly and kindly told us we were over ordering when we were going to order 3 entrée’s to share! Food. We thought the food was great, we shared a Chicken Fried Rice and a Bulgogi Marinated Beef. They both were excellent and more than enough for the two of us to eat! We will definitely come back, it’s great to have non chain restaurants in Fulshear and when one is as good as this we would urge all of our neighbors to try!

A great find in Fulshear! The food has excellent flavor. I actually was not expecting it to be that good! I recommend the Bulgogi and Garlic Shrimp! The soups are outstanding too. First of all, a very clean place and spacious. Plenty of TVs. We dont drink but they have wine and beer and soon mixed drinks i understand. The menu is all over the place, in a good way. They have chinese, korean, vietnamese, japanese, and american. They have burgers and sandwiches for the kids. They have all types of asian food. Hence FUSION. I got the Bulgogi and the wife got Garlic Shrimp. My kids got the cheeseburger and the Kids Chicken Fried Rice. Bulgogi was awesome! I wasnt expecting much but i found out the owner is Korean so the beef was seasoned very well and very tender!!! It was awesome! My wifes Garlic Shrimp was very tasty as well. They dont use a heavy sauce. Very light sauce but very flavorful. Actually like my moms cooking. In fact the Hot and Sour soup is very light not thick which caught me by surprise but Outstanding Flavor! The kids burger was one of the thickest kids burgers i have seen! We also got a Yum Yum Roll with spicy crab, cucumber, spicy mayo which was also good. Sunday there is no lunch portion, only dinner, but the portions are good for practically 2 meals so still an excellent value! Service was also very good. The waitress kept our drinks full. Yong, the owner, is super friendly and really crafted some excellent recipes.
