So we looked online and found other reviews about this place most of them said good food but service not so good. A friend of ours had been here before and talked about how good the pizza was. We decided to give it a try, 13 of us went it was about 5pm. One side is the bar and the other side is the restaurant, the restaurant side is small and we could not put tables together to all sit at one table so we had two long tables. The waitress could only take one ticket and drink orders at a time. A couple people ordered appetizers and one couple for their appetizers before the pizza and the other one at the same time they got their pizza. We had to ask for plates and silverware after we got our pizzas. Several people came in and the place begin to get busy I do have to give kudos to the kitchen and bar tender staff they began helping deliver food and pick up dishes. They do have good pizza but service is lacking.

On a road trip through NW Illinois, my husband and I were lucky enough to stumble upon the Pub in the quaint downtown area of Fulton. We had enjoyed the windmill and historic village of Heritage Canyon and were looking for lunch, and(1’s Pub) this was for sure the place! The bartender was incredibly friendly, and brought us our drink right away. My husband had a Bud Light which he was so happy to have served in the can. I had a Chardonnay, which was a generous pour, and quite tasty for pub wine! We ordered lunch from the menu of the Paddlewheel Pizza, which is connected to the pub. Each item that was brought to us was hand delivered by the kitchen staff, who were very eager to please us and make sure we had everything we needed. They checked back several times to make sure the food was prepared to our satisfaction. The facility was clean, other patrons were kind and polite to us. If we had more time, we’d have stopped to play pool at one of several tables in the back of the pub! If we are ever lucky enough to be relaxing in Fulton, Illinois again, We’d definitely stop in to Paddlewheel Pub(&Pizza)

The pizza is awesome! I highly recommend the hamburger pizza; the hamburger is nicely spiced and I love that it’s crumbled and not in big chunks. My husband wished there had been a little bit more sauce on the pizza but it was still very good.

No idea about the pizza situation, I sat in the pub for lunch. Nice small town bar, replete with the standard Nascar and Harley Davidson signs and memorabilia. One bartender to serve the whole place, but she did a pretty good job. Amber Bock included in tap beer options along the sex-in-a-canoe offerings, which was a pleasant surprise. I had a reuben, was offered dressing on the side(yes!) and it came chips and a pickle for five bucks. Hard to argue with that. Clean little family owned place with friendly service and decent food. Spot-on.
