PJ Movers

PJ Movers did my move just this morning and I really could not be more pleased with them! They quoted me 2 – 3 hours for the amount of stuff I estimated and I ended up having a LOT more stuff than I thought and they still finished in 3 hours! The price was exactly as quoted and the guys that came for the move were AMAZING! Phil & his sidekick (sorry — didn’t get your name!) were just fantastic, completely professional the whole time and very friendly and personable! They worked quickly, efficiently and with great care! And believe me, I was not the most organized but they still did an absolutely fantastic job! I also had a lot of questions via email prior to the move and Phil was really great about getting back to me quickly and with all the info I asked for. I have some friends with moves coming up and I will definitely be recommending PJ Movers to them. I’ve used several other moving companies for past moves and Phil was definitely the best! I haven’t finished unpacking yet but so far nothing broken and no damage. If you go with PJ Movers you will not be sorry!

I had a great move experience with Phil and his PJ Movers team. Before I enlisted their help, a mover I had scheduled backed out with only a few days notice, so I was scrambling to find someone to fit me in on July 31. Phil had the space on his schedule and made it happen.
— He quoted me for 2 – 3 hrs and his guys completed the job in 2.5 – I was charged for 2.5 hrs (no rounding to 3hrs and no extra costs)
— Included: blankets to protect furniture and dollies for moving items
— Phil was easy to reach by phone and communicative on email
— PJ Movers arrived 15 minutes early!
They were professional and the two guys who did the heavy lifting were hard-​working and personable. I strongly recommend them.

When it comes to moving, there are always 3 big concerns.
1) How much per hour?

I enlisted the services of PJ movers on Friday June 24, 2011 to help me with a move from a townhouse to a condo. Although I had already begun moving my possessions into my new condo a few weeks prior, many boxes and furniture remained.
PJ movers charges $ 60/​hr with a 2hour minimum and $ 60 flat rate destination/​travel fee (ostensibly for gas, insurance, other fixed costs). So right off the start you are looking at $ 180.
PJ movers were great communicating with me and the quality of service was very professional. They also brought materials to wrap some of my furniture and took the time to diligently load the truck and unload it. One aspect of their service was the dedication and effort they made to helping my move be as easy as possible. At point, they unscrewed a hand railing on a staircase just to get my box spring mattress upstairs. Little things like that, including taking off their shoes in the house… all factors into why I would recommend PJ movers.
