If you’re just looking for a place to lay your head down, then stay here. But if you’re looking for more then head elsewhere. In anticipation of Family and Friends weekend at SUNY Oswego, I booked a room here mainly because prices shot up in town and I thought a 15 minute drive wasn’t too bad. But because of the drive, I wasn’t able to partake in their breakfast. Breakfast is included in the room price. It looks like they had a good selection. Was it any good? Who knows? The hotel itself is under renovation. And being mid fall, the pool was closed. The room was big but sparsely furnished with outdated furniture. They did have a flat screen tv and wifi connection was excellent. The bathroom isn’t the most disgusting one I’ve used, but I was a little sketched out to go barefoot. Well, let’s say all the floor because the carpet was scary looking too. The bed was a little hard but big. Overall it was just a place or me to sleep at. Would I stay here again? Maybe if there really isn’t any room is town. Even with the more expensive prices.

Booked a room here because there was nothing available anywhere near Syracuse where we had to be. The reviews we read were bad but didn’t prepare us for sheetrock in the hallway, hole in the wall, dirty bathroom, bathroom door that couldn’t be closed and overall shoddy place. This place is dump. There is no other way to say it.

I would just stay away from this place for a few months if you’re renting a room. It’s in the middle of renovations and it’s not pretty. Pleasant staff and nice view however.

Ok, so I read through some of the reviews & they seem pretty negative, but some were posted a couple years ago, so I’m not sure if the hotel was updated, or what. We had a great stay here. The property itself is huge, beautiful, & on the river. Great for walking the dogs! It was fairly quiet, & the staff was really helpful & super nice. The room we had was huge, big enough to set up 2 large dog crates. It could definitely use some updating on the bathroom wallpaper, & the box spring was pretty ick & stained. Easy to connect wifi, great complementary breakfast, not just muffins, coffee, & juice, but actual hot, cooked food. The pool was ok, it needed cleaning which they did while we were here. All in all, a pretty good experience. The restaurant for dinner was good, not outstanding. There’s a nice little bar, pool tables, if you need recreation besides the great outdoors, & large outdoor patio, & dock where you can pull up a boat. Idk if our experience was a fluke or what, but our stay was mostly positive.

Stayed in this inn because of utter desperation. We searched high and low for a hotel in Oswego but they were all booked and we didn’t want to have to travel early in the morning from Syracuse to Oswego so we decided to book a room here. Lets put it this way, the people at the front desk assisting us were very kind, but we slept over the blankets on the bed. The sheets and blankets were scratchy, so so uncomfortable. The carpets were dirty and smelled like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. We checked into the hotel at 4 in the morning after driving all night from Long Island and we checked out as soon as we woke up at 9. Their continental breakfast was horrible, we didn’t even want to risk it by drinking the orange juice. It was fairly cheap, however, the quality and overall experience was lousy.

This place is a total dump. First, the people working at the front desk are completely illiterate. At least the two individuals I spoke with. The one gentleman didn’t even know how to properly process my credit card. He had to call a buddy at 12 at night. Having have broken my back and suffering serious back problems this hotel wasn’t accommodating to their customers who may need an elevator. There isn’t one. The rooms are dusty, stinky and utterly disgusting. The bathroom sink had black hair in the sink, dirty towels and stains on the toilet. The beds were disgusting. Dusty sheets and the mattress was rock solid with flat pillows(thank The Lord I brought my own cases) I paid for two nights but ended up leaving the first night. I didn’t care about the extra fees.

It was a quite hotel but we had a hole in our bathroom door and holes in blankets. The pillows were paper thin and they had no extras. The complementary breakfast was great

I read a lot of reviews about this hotel from several sites, and as a result I was sort of afraid to stay here, but it’s the only hotel in Fulton. Oswego’s hotels were booked and/or ridiculously expensive for Harborfest weekend, and we were visiting family in Fulton, so we threw caution to the wind and booked a room at the Riverside Inn. This hotel is old, but it’s not THAT bad. My room was clean-ish(the bathroom floor was sort of questionable so I chose not to look at it all that much), the old air conditioner unit was loud but it worked(it actually got so cold we had to turn it down), the bed was comfortable enough(and I always check in advance for bed bugs… no bugs in sight), and the staff is nice(the employee who discovered someone stole the freestanding ashtray from out front was pretty gruff, but I didn’t blame her since whomever stole it dumped all the ashes and butts on the ground before hauling it off and she probably had to clean it up). I wasn’t thrilled that the towels were sort of grayish, and that they were not changed out by room service despite our two night stay. I was also a bit troubled that the electrical socket in the bathroom was hanging partially out of the wall, but I didn’t get electrocuted so I chose not to be whiny about it. We had really inconsiderate next-door-neighbors the second night of our stay… they left the TV on all night and soundproofing is not really a thing here, I guess. The hotel graciously gave us a credit on our bill to make up for the inconvenience which was pretty sweet considering I think we got to listen to porn for free most of the night. This place won’t win any awards, but it’s fine if you just need a place to sleep and shower. I’d probably stay here again if I was in Fulton.
