Affordable Home Inspections

The buyer of my home recently contracted this company to perform an inspection. Not only do I come home to find the gas range burning in the kitchen (left on for over 5 hours), but apparently they walked away from running water in the master bedroom and let the sink overflow. They tried to undersell the impact, and clean it up, but water leaked through the floor and soaked through to the ceiling of the first floor. There are now 11 large water spots on the family room ceiling.
So not only is my home damaged, but the sale is in jeopardy. The buyer may back out leaving my house on the market which could cost me thousands of dollars waiting for another offer, only to get a lower offer when one eventually comes.
This company clearly did not have any respect for my home. Not only did they flood my house, but they could have burned it down with the gas range!
The only positive thing I can say, at least they were honorable enough to own up to their mistake and admit walking away from the sink and letting it overflow.

The owner was very rude to me when I was trying to get initial info via email. Don’t fill out multiple forms on their website or you’ll get a nasty email back! Glad I took my business somewhere else.
