This is an amazing little diner to take the whole family to. Being in a doublewide type atmosphere, everyones close, but in a good way. It makes you feel a sense of being back in time almost. The staff is nice and quick, there are a lot of regulars that come and know about the place, and many food selections on the menu. All in All it gives a hometown feel that most diners cant deliver.

I go there for breakfast all the time, and I am always pleased with the value and taste of the food. The staff is friendly and fast. Think I’ll go there right now after talking and thinking about it

This is a true little County Diner from the no frills food to only cash accepted. I have a had a few breakfast and lunch’s over the years. This is a true locals hang out. The waitress know there regulars and everyone knows everybody’s business. The breakfast is what I come for, bacon, ham, sausage, eggs cooked to order, home fries with onions, and bottomless coffee. Very quick and fast service. The average person would never think twice about stopping in this place. So if you don’t like diners and grease don’t stop here and do yourself a favor and keep driving back north Yankee.

The price is right, the service is good. But thats about it. I had the barbaque pulled pork with creamed potatoes and cold beets, pulled pork tasted like it came out of a can or a package very salty. Its definately a no frills diner Ive had better just a few blocks down the road.

If you’re concerned with eating healthy 100% of the time or concerned about smelling like grease after you’ve left then do not go here. I personally am not extremely concerned with either and love this place. You’ll pull in to a gravel parcking lot and enter the mobile home and always greeted with a friendly hello. Very fast service, great breakfast and very kind staff. This is a long time local favorite for Fuquay and one of a kind. I hope they stay forever.

Great local simple home made breakfast. Can’t be the prices, great quick service and the staff is very southern friendly. It is a dive breakfast place so don’t expect fine dining but the food is very good and prices are amazing.

An award for Fuquay-Varina’s Best Breakfast hangs on the wall at the entrance of this cozy little diner. However, this review is for lunch only. We were unable to order breakfast since it was lunchtime and breakfast is only served until 10:30. The diner appears to be two single-wides pushed together. Low ceilings, counter service, seat yourself. It’s pretty much what you might expect from a no-frills, country diner. Ordered and received our meals quickly, minus my unsweetened tea. Our server was pleasant enough but never returned to our table after dropping off our meals. No coffee or water refills and no tea. Midway through, my hubby asked another server for my unsweetened tea. That elusive tea, like Sasquatch, never made an appearance at our table. I don’t mind waiting a bit if I can see that it’s busy, but it wasn’t. It was late for lunch and there were plenty of empty tables. We saw our waitress sitting and talking as we were leaving and she told us she got side-tracked. The initial service was prompt, but unfortunately that’s all we received. The BBQ chicken was fine. The chicken was moist and the BBQ sauce was flavorful. The chicken pastry is pretty much soup with dumplings that look like wide noodles. It was fine and had a few pieces of chicken in it. The mac and cheese was okay. I would much rather have tried the breakfast. I wasn’t really impressed with anything during lunch so I’m not sure we’ll give it another shot unless it’s the only option. If breakfast is really that good here, it might be beneficial to serve it past 10:30 am because the lunch wasn’t impressive enough to make up for the service.

This review is for breakfast as my first review was for lunch. Breakfast was great. Took a while to come out but I’m pretty sure the mini-bus from the local retirement community parked out front might’ve had something to do with it! Walked in & got the usual staredown from all the regulars(mainly at the counter) that see a «stranger». When you walk in, to your right is the counter that overlooks the kitchen, to the left about 8 tables, and then there’s another space in the back(not sure how many table but considering the place is a converted/modified trailer, it’s probably not many. But enough for the seniors of Windsor Point, apparently! ;) Anyway, about half the tables in the front dining space were full and the other half were dirty– you could tell the TWO waitresses were busy. As soon as I sat down, the super sweet waitress wiped it down so no biggie– I know what it’s like to be «in the weeds»! I ordered one of the breakfast platters– opted for ½ country ham, 1 egg, home fries, & biscuit. It was all DELICIOUS! The country ham was cooked just right– not too tough, the egg was fresh, the home fries were AMAZING, and the biscuit was a good ol’ buttery country biscuit. The platter included coffee and it was under $ 7. Good deal! They have tons of lunch specials from $ 7 – 9, hamburger steak is a daily special but on certain days of the week they have bbq pork, chicken pastry, chicken salad, pork chops, fried shrimp, flounder, and a few I’m sure I’m missing. But bring some cash because it’s cash or check only! It’s worth a trip to the ATM though!
